I found myself in need of new pool maintenance service starting April. I called Pools Kings on a Thursday and Nelson came out the same day to provide a quote. With almost 2 decades of experience, he is as knowledgeable as they come. I requested weekly service on Thursday or Friday and although those days were booked, he said he'd check to see if another customer would change their service day. Later in the day, he called and told me Friday was a go! I know pool maintenance services typically plan their routes by service locations so I really appreciated that my request was accommodated. I told Nelson I was aware my filter had a leak and would need to be replaced soon (according to previous pool maintenance) and he said it's possible that it could be the gasket and he'd take a look at it. My last pool maintenance was a week prior to reaching out to Pool Kings, but I noticed the vacuum wasn't moving and told Nelson that. He quickly identified that the power was shut off. Sure it sounds like something I could have figured out myself, but realistically, I had no reason to think it would be turned off since it's supposed to stay on. The vacuum still didn't move after the power was turned back on. After detaching the vacuum from the wall, it was discovered that there was no suction. I told Nelson I saw it moving the previous week (same week the previous pool maintenance performed last and final service). Nelson said he would troubleshoot the next day (Friday). He came, cleaned the pool and couldn't quite figure out what the issue was but said he'd get back to me. On Saturday, Nelson reached out and told me he had some ideas and asked if he could come over the next day (Easter Sunday) because he didn't want my pool to turn green. I said it was fine and Nelson showed up on Sunday with a bunch of tools. After 20 or so minutes Nelson called and told me it was working again. I went outside and he explained what he did (pool lingo) and I was so glad the vacuum was working again. When I asked him how much, he said nothing. Not all maintenance repairs are covered and included in the service fee, but whatever he did was included. Not only did Nelson come out on a Sunday because he was concerned about potential complications, but he didn't even charge for. Time is a commodity and gas prices are insane these days. Nelson genuinely cares about his customers and took care of my pool like it was his very own. I highly recommend Pool Kings to anyone looking for reliable and honest pool maintenance service. read more

Pool kings, a family owned business. Sounds nice doesn't it? But beware! this is a family of con artists! It's kingmaker is a mother apparently who calls all the shots over her impotent adult son (Jason) and his super rude wife (Melissa) who refers to them both as owners. This service was great until the pool guy coming over (nick) informed us that there was a winter schedule going into effect for six months of the year. Huh? Instead of weekly service (for which we signed up for) it was going to be 2/times a month. I thought ok, half the service then half the amount I needed to pay every month.right? Oh-no Melissa tells me. It's the same price! This is when we catch up for the year. Imagine if You told your boss You we're only coming in for 20hrs but your going to pay me for 40! Yeah, sure.you're fired! But these people actually thought I'd fall for this scam. Then told me there's nothing they could do? Because mommy wouldn't stand for it. Complete BS!! Then these idiots tried telling me before they (fired us) that the reason my pool was green was because my filters were old, not knowing I had replaced them after they cleaned them, stating that they were old! News flash you morons! If the chemicals are in check your water would not have algae. For all of you pool king customers out there who have fallen for their scam , SHAME ON YOU! For supporting these con artists. Also, they nuked their GOOGLE profile because I'm sure they crashed the google algorithm with the most negative reviews on google. read more

I was very pleased with this company for over a year. I paid for service over four months now for them to not show up for 4 months. I've been told I need $500 for filter cleaning which I did okay then they never showed up my pool turned deeeeep green. melissa had emergency which I get we all have. but four months of paying and got NO SERVICE and now problems with my pool. I would not recommend. my girlfriend recommend me to them, then after I hired them she fired them for this same reason im not happy. it's just communication it was there then just stopped. I work construction so busting my ass to maintain my home in Vegas and then paying them to make sure my backyard was already handled. NOPPPEE !! I unfortunately called my lawyer and will take different steps I'm done with being used in that damn town. I am definitely it the one, I would never recommend I would NEVER allow back in my neighborhood let alone home !! Very unfortunate due to the fact that I'm very understanding and willing to work with and help how ever I can. I wished they would have said we will handle it but instead I got rude responses and could not answer why and or nothing about giving any money back since was not there and have literal proof. Just sucks cause now I have to get a new pool cleaner and who knows what else and pools are not cheap. Would have never happened if just did what told me was doing. This is my pool which has been serviced by Pool Kings for the last two years. This pool has looked like this since July 2018. I was very patient with them and fixed everything I was asked to fix. For some reason when they serviced my pool once a week, they felt that shock after shock after shock would make my pool green again. Today, 9/20/18, I told Jason that I was not happy with the fact that my pool is still green, instead of making things right like a good business would, he quit on me leaving me with a green pool. Jason will charm you to earn your business, but when issues arise he is reluctant to help. Seems like all he wants to do is skim pools. Finally, if you have repairs that need to be made, he doesn't do repairs. He refers you to a pool repair guy. So now YOU have to call this repair guy and make arrangements with him.... read more
