This company is absolutely outstanding. We did a complete pool remodel plus. To say our pool was in bad condition would be an understatement. We needed new piping, new drainage, new electrical, new pool equipment installed in a more suitable location, new decking, and we wanted to turn our spa into a Baha shelf. Basically, the only part of our pool that was salvageable was the hole and most of the rebar. We were so happy with the quality of work on the pool; we also had them replace all of our cracking concrete around our property. Not only are we happy, but so are our neighbors. The major reason we chose Pool Effects was the quality of the estimate. Eddie, the owner, provides a detailed estimate so you know exactly what you are paying for. We had other companies bid the project. We got bids that only showed the final cost. We got bids that did include a few line items. None of the other estimates were as complete as Eddie's. After meeting Eddie and reviewing the bid, we felt that this company would be the best to work with. It also didn't hurt that the estimate was cost competitive and the timeframe was more than half of what other companies were proposing. The actual construction process was relatively painless. Come on, be real. Any construction project on your property is not fun. Be prepared. Having your whole backyard ripped up is not a good time, but it is not so bad when the crews and Eddie show up when they are supposed to and work so incredibly hard. As the project proceeded, our original plans simply were not going to work. We had to make significant changes. Eddie adapted quickly. Prior to starting the project, we received multiple bids from contractors who "claimed" they could do it all however none seemed as knowledgeable as Eddie. My pool looks amazing! These guys are attentive and very good at their job. We ran into a couple problems with the foundation of the pool and the pipes and other parts being corroded since it is old and I live right by the water, but all the issues were explained to me, clearly valid and fixed appropriately. All of the crews were highly efficient and extremely professional. It was a little more than we were quoted, but once we saw the existing damage, which we were warned could be an issue before we started, I was honestly surprised it didn't cost more to repair everything.
