I get tired of French fries and the baked potato was an excellent change up. The tasty white fish was a good size filet. The coleslaw was a light vinegar style. Even the roll was good. My wife had the lamb stew and that was fabulous. I was able to snatch a couple bites, but she loved it and finished this hearty dish. Good old fashions. We split a pumpkin cake. Sarah was our server and did a fantastic job. Very delightful. You can tell she likes working there which is always a bonus for the atmosphere if the staff enjoys it. We ate at a table in the bar. While the patio is dog-friendly, you have to go inside to the bar to order your drinks and food and dogs aren't allowed in there. So, if you're traveling solo with your dog, be aware of this. I just left the car locked and running while I went in to order, put my placard down on a table outside, then went and grabbed the pup from the car. The Caesar Salad with chicken was lovely and had nice, crisp greens - not just the light colored watery lettuce, this had the medium and dark green goodness too. Still a little bland tasting, but it is a nice size and I ate the whole thing. The chicken on top of it was warm and freshly cooked, and absolutely delicious. I shared a piece of chicken and some lettuce with my pup and he likewise approved. It was a warm sunny day, so I ordered a Kentucky Mule to go along with my salad. Staff was a little busy with tables inside (lots of children at one table) so they forgot about my drink sitting on the bar. The vibe here is "speakeasy" in my opinion. Each time we've been here, there's only one person working and he stays busy. But he is very efficient, so we've never waited long for our drinks. One room here has a small stage and PA setup. We've never been here when they had entertainment. But they always have music on in the background for ambiance.
