Visited Pomodoro's on Thu for lunch with a party of 3. You enter the doors and there are tables and banquet seating at the front. The order counter and kitchen are at the back. You walk through and there is a large menu board above you. We all ordered veal sandwiches as that's what we came for. I got mine with sautéed mushrooms and mozzarella cheese and Brio to wash it all down. After ordering we found an open table and our food arrived within 5min which was pretty quick. The sandwich was made using a large kaiser bun. The veal was thinly cut with a nice thick coating of Italian breadcrumbs. The sauce was good and they didn't load the sandwich with it. The sautéed mushrooms and cheese add depth. This was a good proper veal sandwich but not the best I've had. I would visit again and will need to try their pizza next time.

Had the most tender meatball sandwich and what we thought was pesto fettuccine with chicken at Pomodoro's in Brampton for my last foodie treat on vacation! Everything was delicious and they are finally open again for takeout and very sweet so make sure to support them if you can!

Best Lasagna & panzerotti ever.. owner and staff was very friendly. Service was great!!

Good spot for lunch. Large variety of pizza slices are available to be reheated in the oven. Slices are thin crust and slightly dry. $4.29 gets you a large slice that's cut in two. Paninis are filling and comforting - chicken and eggplant parmigianas ($7.49) are highlights. Panzarottis ($6.99 for cheese, $7.49 with pepperoni) are big and made fresh to order. The dough is on the tough side. Service is quick, but table service is sometimes forgetful and confused.

Veal Sandwich with cheese! Don't let the picture fool you..IT WAS PHENOMENAL!

Been going here on and off for years now. Maybe more Veal on their sandwiches would help the cause, but still very tasty because of their sauce and you can tell it's not your frozen box of Veal being thrown in a fryer pre breaded. Its not wood or brick oven but their Pizza is definitely something else if you are willing to pay a little extra compared to most spots. I definitely need to go in to take a Crack at the pasta. I would have dropped a three star review if it wasn't for the service.

Chicken in the Chicken Parm sandwich is like 1mm thick. Not very good. And the menu in the store has higher prices than Website.

When looking at the menu, there was even a disclaimer about the wait time, as they note on the menu that "good food takes time to make". It's understandable that quality food takes time to prepare, but we felt that overall the service was super slow. Taking our order took a while, and evening bringing out bill took an unnecessary 25 minutes after they cleared our plates. The food was also mediocre at best. Everything tasted bland and it could definitely use some more seasoning (or at least salt).

The ambiance was good but they missed the mark with the "romantic" setting if that's what they were going for. The service was a team style service. Our primary server "Chris" I thought was mediocre & just didn't have the charisma that a good server should have in a restaurant like this. We had to ask multiple times for both bread & pepper. The food was very tasty. I started off with the Calamari ($16.00). It was tasty but not overly so. It came accented with a red pepper style dip that didn't match the seafood taste. In my opinion it should have been a seafood sauce or tartar sauce. My main was the "Fettuccine with a Twist" ($32.00). The "twist" was 3x shrimp, chicken & peppers. It was a small portion & the pasta was very al-dente but I liked it like that. The rose sauce that was with the fettuccine was superb. I had the tiramisu ($10.00) for dessert. It was VERY mediocre & and very small portion as well (see pic). All in all this isn't a do-over for me. Too high priced with an auto tip of 20% which is why the service was what it was. Total bill was $200.00.

She's a nice person. The food was between good & very good. The appetizer was fried calamari ($18.99). In this version there was actually calamari in the order. I found it was WAY too salty & a small order but tasty nonetheless. I also had a Caesar salad ($13.00) small order and not overly tasty. My main was the Rosanna Farfalle ($29.00). This was a very tasty dish but the top portion of the order was just lukewarm and the bottom portion was hot. Meaning the order sat for a bit before coming to the table. Still...a very tasty dish. We finished with a rather small portion of Tiramisu ($12.00). This was billed as very tasty. Having had tiramisu around the world & in Italy...this tiramisu was mediocre. With the food, service & ambiance, this place could easily be a 5 star. They just need to step up the food temp & the portion size & it would be there.

We shared a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and an app. I appreciate it that we were able to enjoy the company amongst each other and not be bothered or pressured with having to split our attention with the server. This restaurant is a little dated however, the food definitely makes up for the quality. I'd recommend nicer seating because I did get tired 30 minutes in as the chairs weren't as comfortable.

Both positive signs in my book. We started with the fried calamari. It was really crispy and hot. Came out quick too. We ordered a few pastas. The pasta with meat balls was our favourite. The mushroom ravioli was good but started tasting a bit sweet after eating half of it. We also had the sausage pasta and enjoyed that too. Seats about 40 to 50 people so make a reservation on the weekend. Warm tasty pasta with bold comforting flavours, perfect for when you have an Italian food craving. Service is great too. They helped us read the Italian menu. Kept refilling our water and brought out some bread to start the meal. Nice clean washroom too.

Food (3.75/5) - they have a good selection of items on the menu and a couple of specials of the day as well. - Vitello ai Funghi - veal cutlets in a seared assorted mushroom and white wine sauce. It was just ok imo... the veal was a bit chewy and not tender as I was expecting. Sauce is ok bit understated. - Tortellini alla Bolognese - veal filled tortellini in a homemade Bolognese sauce. This was a nice dish with a nice flavourful Bolognese and tortellini cooked properly. - Cozze Marinara - mussels in a marinara sauce with garlic, onion and herbs. Cooked properly and a pretty good broth to dip bread into. - Complimentary bruschetta with a sauteed pepper/onion garnish was provided - not great imo... too dry and lacked flavour. Service (4.5/5) - pretty strong and service-oriented. Seated quickly and well attended multiple times by server and assistant. Atmosphere (4.25/5) - it is quite small with maybe 10 tables total. White tablecloth and wood look... quiet place designed for dates and families. Overall (4/5) - It is a solid Italian restaurant overall. I can see it being popular with locals looking for a quiet dinner spot. I was hoping the food would be more extraordinary however could be the selection of items we had.
