When looking at the menu, there was even a disclaimer about the wait time, as they note on the menu that "good food takes time to make". It's understandable that quality food takes time to prepare, but we felt that overall the service was super slow. Taking our order took a while, and evening bringing out bill took an unnecessary 25 minutes after they cleared our plates. The food was also mediocre at best. Everything tasted bland and it could definitely use some more seasoning (or at least salt).

The ambiance was good but they missed the mark with the "romantic" setting if that's what they were going for. The service was a team style service. Our primary server "Chris" I thought was mediocre & just didn't have the charisma that a good server should have in a restaurant like this. We had to ask multiple times for both bread & pepper. The food was very tasty. I started off with the Calamari ($16.00). It was tasty but not overly so. It came accented with a red pepper style dip that didn't match the seafood taste. In my opinion it should have been a seafood sauce or tartar sauce. My main was the "Fettuccine with a Twist" ($32.00). The "twist" was 3x shrimp, chicken & peppers. It was a small portion & the pasta was very al-dente but I liked it like that. The rose sauce that was with the fettuccine was superb. I had the tiramisu ($10.00) for dessert. It was VERY mediocre & and very small portion as well (see pic). All in all this isn't a do-over for me. Too high priced with an auto tip of 20% which is why the service was what it was. Total bill was $200.00.

It was also a 2:1 Special nite that's why we went. Otherwise, I doubt that we'd go to this place. Has a very limited menu. Delivered our drinks & our Caprese Salad ($21.95) fairly quickly. Good salad but small, 4 slices of tomato & mozzarella. Not great value. My main was the Pizza Alla Diavola ($25.95) took considerably longer than it should have considering the place was mostly empty. Pizza tasted good but it lacked size & was VERY light on the toppings. My wife had the Chicken Masalla. It tasted fantastic but it was $29.00. Unless I'm cornered, I really doubt I'd come back to this spot again.

She's a nice person. The food was between good & very good. The appetizer was fried calamari ($18.99). In this version there was actually calamari in the order. I found it was WAY too salty & a small order but tasty nonetheless. I also had a Caesar salad ($13.00) small order and not overly tasty. My main was the Rosanna Farfalle ($29.00). This was a very tasty dish but the top portion of the order was just lukewarm and the bottom portion was hot. Meaning the order sat for a bit before coming to the table. Still...a very tasty dish. We finished with a rather small portion of Tiramisu ($12.00). This was billed as very tasty. Having had tiramisu around the world & in Italy...this tiramisu was mediocre. With the food, service & ambiance, this place could easily be a 5 star. They just need to step up the food temp & the portion size & it would be there.

We shared a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and an app. I appreciate it that we were able to enjoy the company amongst each other and not be bothered or pressured with having to split our attention with the server. This restaurant is a little dated however, the food definitely makes up for the quality. I'd recommend nicer seating because I did get tired 30 minutes in as the chairs weren't as comfortable.

The food did take a bit to come out but that was okay because I was catching up with family I don't normally see but in a different scenario where you don't want to wait long it could get annoying. Once the pizza came out it looked great they didn't cut it and had these cool pizza cutters shears hybrid that where great I thought (my little brother didn't agree he hated them said it was too hard). Once I had bites of the pizza I can confidently say the 2nd best pizza I have ever eaten only in comparison to a pizza in Sweden made by Italians. The restaurant its self was beautiful and nice. I always love being able to see the kitchen but finding the bathroom was a turkey trail! I loved it and the food was heavenly I hope to go back soon

Food (3.75/5) - they have a good selection of items on the menu and a couple of specials of the day as well. - Vitello ai Funghi - veal cutlets in a seared assorted mushroom and white wine sauce. It was just ok imo... the veal was a bit chewy and not tender as I was expecting. Sauce is ok bit understated. - Tortellini alla Bolognese - veal filled tortellini in a homemade Bolognese sauce. This was a nice dish with a nice flavourful Bolognese and tortellini cooked properly. - Cozze Marinara - mussels in a marinara sauce with garlic, onion and herbs. Cooked properly and a pretty good broth to dip bread into. - Complimentary bruschetta with a sauteed pepper/onion garnish was provided - not great imo... too dry and lacked flavour. Service (4.5/5) - pretty strong and service-oriented. Seated quickly and well attended multiple times by server and assistant. Atmosphere (4.25/5) - it is quite small with maybe 10 tables total. White tablecloth and wood look... quiet place designed for dates and families. Overall (4/5) - It is a solid Italian restaurant overall.
