We were at this restaurant my friend had tried this place out and had liked the food So here we were as it was full however no wait We got a patio table as we had requested for it The service was not too good The server didn't bring in nor offer us the breads We ordered a bruschetta and a capresse salad with some wine and Corona beer Bruschetta was disappointing with just 2 pieces of the bruschetta and rest all grilled veggies The caprese salad was excellent After the appetizers we requested for the bread which came without the dip Since my friend knew about the hot spicy dipping sauce she asked for it Really you have to ask for everything nothing comes as a part of the service For mains we ordered Fusilli with pesto and Gnocchi in creamy sauce The fusilli and gnocchi were fine not very good Would like to go there again to try some more stuff from their interesting menu

I'm quite surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews as it's quite literally the oldest restaurant in Brampton (1963). However, it may not feel that way inside since the entire interior is virtually brand-new. This is due to the fact that a watermain broke on George St in 2016 and flooded the place. They took about a year to repair and completely renovate the restaurant. They did an excellent job, and the other aspect I appreciate about their ambience is that they're located right at the corner of George and Wellington streets. There aren't too many places in Brampton you can say has charm, but this spot overlooking Gage park is one of them and makes for a great patio in fair weather. I'm a little surprised other reviewers say it's overpriced. To me, it's par for the course for somewhat higher-end Italian (and nowhere near the price of something high-end in Toronto). Most mains start at the high teens (pizza and some pasta dishes) and then into the $20's for most other items. There's probably 3-4 items at most which start over $30. I'm also unsure why it's presently classified as '$$$$' for price on Yelp. I suppose you could pay over $60/person, but I wouldn't say that's an average or unavoidable. The menu is online and can confirm this. My wife and I enjoyed the Giuseppe salad to start. It's great if you're into sweeter salads as it had figs, pears, apricot and with a berry vinaigrette. The goat cheese was a natural pairing. I ordered the Vitello Piccata - which is veal is a seasoned lemon-based sauce. I opted for pasta as my side with an olive oil base. You're given a choice of for sides and pasta almost any way you want it. Note: veal features VERY prominently on the menu here. I think I saw it on the menu in about a dozen different ways. My wife ordered Vitello Vesuvio - but asked for chicken instead of veal (they're very comfortable with requests and adjustments). The chicken was stuffed with ham and cheese and served with a mushroom sauce. She chose to go with Gnocci in an alfredo sauce. All in all, we came in expecting a good meal and got one. I don't think there was anything about it that may have knocked us off our feet, and the menu is fairly traditional - but it met fairly high expectations. They also ensure there's vibrant flavour as I experienced in my meal with the salad and that the lemon sauce wasn't afraid to have that tartness in lemon that I love. I still need to try their pizza as they're one of the few local places with a wood-burning oven.

Delicious and classy :) . Firstly, the staff was so lovely! Everyone was smiling, attentive, and overall happy, which was really nice to see! It gave the restaurant a really positive vibe. Also, the restaurant itself was gorgeous, in my opinion. NOW, the fooood! Oooohhhh, it made me so happy! Caprese salad was so well balanced and flavourful; everything tasted fresh. All of our apps were yummy! But the star of our appetizers, in my opinion, was definitely the caprese salad! So simple and delicious! Both the Osso Bucco and the salmon were melt-in-your-mouth fantastic! Every bite was genuinely perfect, which was surprising to me, because usually, salmon ends up unevenly cooked because of its shape and thickness. But yes, truly amazing! The gnocchi was perfectly creamy and balanced with gorgonzola cheese, best I've ever had :) . And I fell in love with their pizza at first bite :) . And lastly, of course, dessert was fantasticcc! I look forward to coming here again soon :) !

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The Marsala Chicken was very tasty, I will definitely be coming back here!

If it weren't for the service, I probably would've given this 2 stars. Our server was very friendly and she was also very accommodating. My friend can't eat eggs, so she made sure that everything, including the bread served as an appetizer was egg-less. I ordered the spaghetti and my friend ordered a pizza. With the higher than average prices, we expected something... more, to say the least. My meal was bland which I normally wouldn't mind, but the pasta itself was also overcooked. All in all, my meal wasn't very enjoyable. I wasn't full, but I couldn't will myself to finish it either. My friend said her pizza was "okay". Overall, I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. Definitely expected more since it was recommended by a co-worker. Safe to say that I would not be recommending this to anyone.

March 21, 2026: Dinner with my Al & Tony/Heather/Peggy…read more This was a terrific meal but not superb. We actually recognized our server who used to serve at another restaurant we frequent. She's a nice person. The food was between good & very good. The appetizer was fried calamari ($18.99). In this version there was actually calamari in the order. I found it was WAY too salty & a small order but tasty nonetheless. I also had a Caesar salad ($13.00) small order and not overly tasty. My main was the Rosanna Farfalle ($29.00). This was a very tasty dish but the top portion of the order was just lukewarm and the bottom portion was hot. Meaning the order sat for a bit before coming to the table. Still...a very tasty dish. We finished with a rather small portion of Tiramisu ($12.00). This was billed as very tasty. Having had tiramisu around the world & in Italy...this tiramisu was mediocre. With the food, service & ambiance, this place could easily be a 5 star. They just need to step up the food temp & the portion size & it would be there.

We shared a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and an app. I appreciate it that we were able to enjoy the company amongst each other and not be bothered or pressured with having to split our attention with the server. This restaurant is a little dated however, the food definitely makes up for the quality. I'd recommend nicer seating because I did get tired 30 minutes in as the chairs weren't as comfortable.

First off, if you couldn't tell already, it's situated at a golf course. About the only issue I had was a minor one, as you're directed to walk to the side and around to main building to get to it, but there's no path. You have to walk on the road briefly which can be a bit confusing on your first visit. We came mid-day on a Sunday when they have a brunch menu. Some great brunch features, including a $36 option which serves 4 and has the favourites of toast, bacon, egg, sausage, and home fries. A helpful option they do with that is simply adding about $10 for each additional person. Naturally there's omelettes, benny's etc... I had already eaten breakfast so I went with the jalapeño burger. Again, I really should've taken a pic as it was perfectly served, and even had a popper on top. A very large patty made with quality meat, and still had some very slight pink in the middle which I was was happy with. Love the pickled jalapeños and onions, and the veggies were perfectly fresh. Good side of fresh-cut fries. My wife went with the California salad, which included walnuts, orange, strawberries and half an avocado. Without exaggerating, it was the best presentation of a salad in this price range I've seen by far. It was served with a mini wooden spoon and fork and a side mini mason jar of citrus dressing. I also can't overstate how perfectly fresh and ripe each component was, with nothing being slightly wilted or unripened. Oddly, I was almost the most impressed by the kids menu. At first it seems like a pretty high price point for kids with most things starting at $11. However, the waitress said one pizza would be more than enough, and I kid you not (no pun intended) that it was a 10" pizza. Very good quality and the cheese had a nice, slightly aged (but not too much) quality to it. They both received drink and for dessert went with funnel cake fries. It was essentially funnel cake, but just portioned in a way that they were in the shape of fries, and served in a mini fry basket with icing sugar and a side of chocolate sauce. $11 very well spent I'd say. For this price point, with most items on the menu being under $20, it's fully deserving of a 5. It's easy to say that this is a must try for anyone in Brampton, and given its location, people in areas such as Meadowvale and Streetsville can make it here in 15-20 minutes too and should certainly give Iggy's a try.

I got the spaghetti and my gf got the turkey burger and a Caesar salad as her side. My spaghetti was good and meatballs are made fresh in house. My gf's salad was huge and the presentation was adorable! They give the dressing on the side in a little mason jar with a wooden spoon and fork to toss the salad yourself. Her burger looked delicious and she said it was pretty good. I think next time I'll try the turkey burger. Venue is lovely and the patio must be beautiful in the summer. Would definitely come again!

A few more after us got a seat at the bar, and the rest after were turned away They have full bar service. The menu likely has something for everyone, with tacos, flatbreads, apps, and pasta feature. As hubs noted, for a place called uncorked, their wine menu is a bit light. However, if you include liquor choices, it works. Service was good overall, perhaps slightly lacking polish but made up for with genuineness. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights at 7. The trio playing was enjoyable playing a lot of classics most would know. Good music for conversation. The sound system was a bit distorted, so that did detract unintentionally from the band. As far as food goes, they brought the appetizer out after the tacos, and my main seemed to have gotten a bit lost. Ideally the kitchen would have delivered both mains at the same time. So Hubs ate his, then we ate our appetizer...and then I ate my main. Not ideal but pretty tasty. The brussel sprout dish was quite delicious, but a slightly lighter hand on the sauce would improve it. Pulled pork tacos were enjoyed by Hubs. I enjoyed my fish tacos and my duck taco. All in all a good meal.

When I called to make a reservation for an early dinner at 6 p.m., I was Told they could "fit us in". The person on the other line wanted to know if we were staying for the night since she had other guests coming in at 8. We were dining with kids so I said that 2 hours for dinner would be enough. When we arrived in this industrial looking space, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Most of the tables are low - lounge like. The few tables that are high with bar stool type chairs are all near the door and not in an ideal location. The bar dominates most of the room and there was a drum set in another part of the main floor suggesting that there would be live music later. We sat in a booth with a low table. The waitress, Susan, was very nice but she could not overcome the incompetence of the kitchen staff. The lemon drop martini had no lemon taste. The calamari appetizer was ok but too chewy for me. The chicken wings my son ordered were good. The bruchetta was nothing special. The worst part of the meal was waiting for our entrees - we waited over an hour between the time we finished our appetizers and the time the entrees arrived. The bacon wrapped tenderloin, when it did arrive, was tasty but tiny - four our of five of us ordered this entree and they were all small. My daughter ordered off of the main menu - the penne in rose sauce and the portion for $14 was tiny. I will post a picture. My apple crumble was the kind that you can buy at Costco - definitely not homemade. Mine was burnt. My son's dessert dd not arrive together with the rest of ours. The lemon sorbet was served in a real lemon and was tasty. The desserts all looked like they were store-bought. I will never come back to this restaurant. Our experience was most disappointing.

The layout of the restaurant is really nice, feeling modern. Personally, for myself, I was not a fan of the dish I went with. I had ordered the pan-roasted chicken and it was flavourless. My girlfriend enjoyed her dish as she got the garlic prawn ravioli. The dish presentation for the Garlic Prawn Ravioli was certainly lacking as the plating seemed to be rushed. Troy, the server was very friendly and quick to bring anything we asked for but could've been a little more attentive (ie notice when the table was lacking water and other drinks). We started with the spinach and artichoke dip that came with chips and a little cup of pico de gallo. Honestly, the dip wasn't that great. I think this is the first time we order a spinach dip and didn't finish it. The main courses were much better though. I went with the spaghetti Alfredo with steak - the pasta was delicious but the steak was a tad undercooked for my liking - tasty though! I only took pics of my own, however there were good reviews of all the dishes around the table! Among those were steak and frites, steak and mashed potatoes, salmon romesco, chicken pesto club. Finally, we got churros (4) for dessert and I love that they came with different dipping sauces and we didn't have to choose just one (chocolate and raspberry sauces and vanilla mouse).
