I rarely write reviews, and like many people, I've often heard others describe their dentist as…read more"the best." However, Dr. Abrams truly stands apart because he wears many different hats within the field of dentistry and demonstrates a level of expertise, confidence, and professionalism that is exceptionally rare. While his forte appears to be dental implants, his knowledge and skill extend far beyond that specialty. My first experience with Dr. Abrams was observing him treat my daughter during the early stages of preparing for an implant, including an extraction and bone graft procedure. I was genuinely taken aback by the proficiency, calm confidence, and visible experience he demonstrated throughout the process. Watching the precision and ease with which he worked immediately instilled a tremendous sense of trust and comfort. Since then, Dr. Abrams has performed general dentistry for both myself and other members of my family, always delivering stellar results. Beyond his technical abilities, what truly distinguishes him is the level of care and accessibility he provides to his patients. In an era where many professionals become difficult to reach once a procedure is completed, Dr. Abrams makes himself readily available for follow-up care and any post-procedure concerns, which speaks volumes about his dedication and integrity. Equally deserving of recognition is the wonderful office staff, led by Silvia, who is truly a treasure to the practice. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with warmth, professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. Silvia possesses the rare ability to make patients feel immediately comfortable and cared for, and her organizational skills and attention to detail are second to none. Quite frankly, she is the type of employee any business owner would be fortunate to have, and I would have someone of her caliber in my employ in a heartbeat. The entire staff reflects the same welcoming atmosphere and professionalism that clearly begins at the top. It is very clear that dentistry for Dr. Abrams is not simply a profession, but a craft that he has mastered through experience, talent, and genuine care for his patients. I recommend him without hesitation and believe anyone seeking a highly skilled, trustworthy, compassionate dentist -- supported by an outstanding staff -- would be in excellent hands with Dr. Abrams.

His knowledge and skills in the field of dentistry are exceptional. I came to think of him as a dentist who thinks outside the box and who can be very creative in designing solutions for issues. One example that I will never forget is when one dentist told me they needed to either remove a tooth or put on a crown. I decided to get a second opinion and I wound up at Dr. V's office. He suggested shaving the tooth down enough so that there was no contact between that tooth and the tooth above it. Prior to doing the work, he advised that he wasn't sure how long the tooth would last/survive--could be months or years. I decided I had nothing to loose--so I asked him to proceed with the work. That tooth survived for something like 10 years! He is very aware of his patients' needs, concerns, fears and works very hard to treat the "patient" not just the tooth. And his staff have the same attitude in conducting their jobs. Finally, I think perhaps the best testament is that I HATE going to the dentist. I always have. Yet, each and every time I go to his office, we laugh and have a good time. Which even surprises me! I believe it is because from the start, he listened to my concerns and always made sure I felt comfortable before he started any work. It didn't take long (after my first few visits) to come to know/believe that I would not be in any pain during any of the work that would be done. He made sure of that. If you are in need of a dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Vaccarezza. BB

From the beginning, the office flow was disorganized. I arrived 30 minutes early and completed all paperwork, yet a patient who arrived after me was taken back first. Once I was called, the appointment felt rushed and dismissive. The dentist repeatedly stated that he was rushing to get back home, which immediately made me feel like my care was not a priority. When I asked about my treatment plan and when my work could be done, he told me he would call me with details, but that call never happened. In December 2025, the dentist stated that he would be gone for the entire year and would not return until January 2026. Despite this, no one followed up with me regarding my treatment. I ultimately had to reach out to the office myself, and the only reason I received a response was because they later told me my email had been found in their spam folder. There was no proactive communication. Clinically, I had several concerns: * No periodontal (gum health) charting was performed, which is a basic standard of care. * I still noticed visible buildup on my back molars after the cleaning. * After the appointment, I noticed spacing between my teeth that was not present prior to the visit. * My gums were sore, and my teeth were sensitive following the cleaning. The hygienist also appeared uncomfortable taking X-ravs, to the point where I had to guide her. Instead of a panoramic exam, an FMX was taken, which felt outdated for a new-patient evaluation. During the cleaning, it felt like my teeth were over-instrumented, and when I voiced concern, the response felt dismissive. When I requested to be seen promptly due to discomfort, there was no sense of urgency, and I was told the office was fully booked-even though the dentist had previously stated he would personally follow up with my treatment plan. I take great pride in my oral health and my smile, and I also value professionalism and accountability. Unfortunately, this office did not reflect those values. I left feeling rushed, unheard, and genuinely uncomfortable. I will never return to this office and do not recommend it to anyone seeking thorough, patient-centered dental care.

They offer online booking conveniently through their website, however there was scheduling conflict, and the receptionist called me the day before the appointment requesting to change the time. No problem. Once I arrived, I waited to be seen in the waiting room for over a half hour after completing my paperwork. The dentist came and inspected my teeth after the x-rays were taken, but before the actual cleaning. He took 5 seconds to look at my mouth, and told me that I had three cavities. I have never had a cavity in my life. I also had a cleaning at a different office 6 months ago and there was absolutely no discussion of cavities. This was a huge red flag. He then proceeded to lead back out to the front, and I had to ask him if a cleaning was included in my visit because that service had not been performed yet. So he led me back to the chair, and this cleaning was the absolute worst I have experienced. It was painful, and completely rushed. I have never, ever had a complaint about a dentist before. My teeth did not feel clean once so ever when I finally left. So I really was unhappy leaving, and I wanted to get a second opinion from a different dentist about this cavity issue. I needed to email my X-Rays from South Dental to the new place, and it was such a headache to acquire these digital photos. Their email attachments were not coming through, I was constantly having to call the office to check the status of this email being sent to me. I had my lifelong orthodontist take a second look at my teeth and X-rays and he told me that I did not have any cavities. As far as I'm concerned south dental tried over-treating me for something I did not have and I'm considering if I should report to the BBB. Very disappointing, as I really had high hopes and was looking forward to having a quality dentist in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this office.
