Heather, from the front desk knows and does her job very well and is always helpful. She makes my life easier by trying to accommodate my hectic schedule every single time. I truly appreciate it! The building has free parking downstairs, right next to the bank and you have to sign in with the front desk before you can go upstairs to the 3rd floor. I just went this week, and to my surprise their dental hygienist was no longer the same person I had trusted my beautiful smile to for the past couple of years. Nevertheless, Alexandria, the new hygienist proved to be very knowledgeable in her field and had a very pleasant disposition. I have referred various folks to Dr. Voltapetti and no-one has ever had any complaints. On another note, any referrals to other specialists, received by Dr. Voltapetti were also very reliable and professional.

It is important to note that at the start of my visit they told me my visit was covered. However, when no X-rays were needed (they had done just a few months ago during my cleaning visit) then the office manager informed me they needed to charge me $100 but that they would submit the claim. Time passes and no claim was submitted. I had to call Delta Dental and they contacted dentist office. Today 9/16, I called the dentist because they did not even have the courtesy to inform me that the insurance claim was being processed or they received payment from insurance on 9/14. Lady on the phone, today 9/16, claimed that the original visit was an evaluation and she continually argue her point. I pointed out that the only reason for me making the appointment was to re-cement the cap. Nobody should switch the reason for my appt or switch costs on me in the middle of the appointment. Now I have to wait for the office manager to call me after an evaluation of how much money they should returned. Again, this was a 15 minute no charge visit with my old New Jersey Dentist. It is a shame that Smile4Life office can treat a patient who has been going to them in this manner. Truly a shame.

Multiple clients that came in after me was called before me. I used to be okay with the long waits here, but now they are becoming very disrespectful in regards to the time people take out of their day to come to try to stay on top of their health. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, they had the air conditioning off with more than 10 people waiting in the lobby. They seem like they hate their jobs and don't want to speak to anybody. Multiple guests came in complaining, yelling, and demanding they need to get off their phones to start doing something, because there's no reason for guests coming in early or on time for their appointment to not get seen until 3 to 5 hours later. We can't eat, drink, or use the bathroom properly waiting 8 hours and to just get seen by a dentist to have them tell me that I have to come back later due to insurance or some other excuse. They need new management, more employees, or to just shut down because the fact that almost everyone that comes into this dentist office is upset, frustrated, and annoyed. I should be spending my health dollars and insurance somewhere else where clients get treated properly.

They offer online booking conveniently through their website, however there was scheduling conflict, and the receptionist called me the day before the appointment requesting to change the time. No problem. Once I arrived, I waited to be seen in the waiting room for over a half hour after completing my paperwork. The dentist came and inspected my teeth after the x-rays were taken, but before the actual cleaning. He took 5 seconds to look at my mouth, and told me that I had three cavities. I have never had a cavity in my life. I also had a cleaning at a different office 6 months ago and there was absolutely no discussion of cavities. This was a huge red flag. He then proceeded to lead back out to the front, and I had to ask him if a cleaning was included in my visit because that service had not been performed yet. So he led me back to the chair, and this cleaning was the absolute worst I have experienced. It was painful, and completely rushed. I have never, ever had a complaint about a dentist before. My teeth did not feel clean once so ever when I finally left. So I really was unhappy leaving, and I wanted to get a second opinion from a different dentist about this cavity issue. I needed to email my X-Rays from South Dental to the new place, and it was such a headache to acquire these digital photos. Their email attachments were not coming through, I was constantly having to call the office to check the status of this email being sent to me. I had my lifelong orthodontist take a second look at my teeth and X-rays and he told me that I did not have any cavities. As far as I'm concerned south dental tried over-treating me for something I did not have and I'm considering if I should report to the BBB. Very disappointing, as I really had high hopes and was looking forward to having a quality dentist in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this office.
