Prior to making the appointment, Jinelle - not sure if she's an assistant - advised me that I had to change my insurance primary doctor's name to this office so that I can have an appointment there. I followed her instructions, but it was going to take one month to apply (mind you, I needed this appointment sooner than later as I was paranoid about something with my teeth. Finally, one month later I asked Jinelle to help me schedule an appointment where she then told me that they do not take my insurance AT ALL. This came as a shock to me because I would think she would've done me the courtesy to let me know this ONE MONTH PRIOR, during our first initial contact. Supposedly it took affect this month, but I'm sure they knew beforehand this would be the case and were ever so CARELESS to say anything. Unfortunately, I've learned there's not a lot of courtesy or empathy with patients or potential ones from doctors or nurses these days. Which is unfortunate because it's the one main career path that should have it! But I guess all of you are the same, no matter how many good reviews you have. it's a true SHAME. Now, I have to wait another month to change my primary dentist to another dentist before I can finally check my teeth. (my insurance is METLIFE, in case you have it.. I'll spare you the time and inconsideracy) --- To the response below... it was only after I said I'd write a review on my experience with the office was when I finally got a considerate response to the initial cold/short responses I was getting seeing as they left me waiting an entire month to book an appointment only to let me know that all of a sudden they don't have my insurance and all the wait was for nothing. It was only after I said I was planning to write a review is when they seemed to care about the situation and offered to see me. I have really high values, I don't like giving bad reviews unless I honestly really think there's something wrong morally or there might be something a business can learn for future/potential clients. I did not have an in office visit, but I'm glad I didn't make this my dentist office seeing as how cold and unresponsive I was treated. My initial dentist that does not take my new insurance offered to see me either way without me even having to ask, seeing as how they knew I needed an appointment and they wanted to help as much as they can!! I didn't have to be assertive, I didn't have to ask, I didn't have to say anything about reviews.... they simply offered their services and tried to help me either way. I obviously wanted to find an alternative dentist that did take My insurance which is why I had to look elsewhere. But you should offer solutions to patients or be more caring when there is no solution - ESPECIALLY when they are following the instructions YOU initially gave them in the first place as per the writing above. When I got the "cleaning" I was shocked. It lasted 20 mins, I do a better job with my sonic toothbrush. Then, after x-rays, they told me about all of the problems with my existing dental work, in broken English, and suggested thousands of dollars in "repairs". I went to a better (albeit more expensive) dentist afterwards who told me that I had NOTHING wrong with my teeth. These people are criminals running a filthy rude practice. I would say stay away.

Unfortunately, I did not, and waited there listening to this annoying receptionist, at some point I decided to wait outside until it was my turn. I was given a lot of paperwork that not even the receptionist could explain to me what were there for. (this were not the regular papers you fill out at the dentist). Their machines were so old that it took about an hour for the assistant to make the X-Rays (second red flag), then the hygienist came and told me I needed an "INTERMEDIATE CLEANING", thing that I never heard before in my life and I do cleanings every year. Then Dr. Elizabeth came and said about 2 words and did not even bother to explain anything to me. Lastly, another staff member came and said they wouldn't do the regular cleaning because I needed the "intermediate" which was $120. I told them I made the appointment for my annual check and regular cleaning and that was what I wanted to do. Again, they refused and the annoying receptionist was extremely rude to me because I decided not to do the cleaning they said. Today, one day later I went to Sage Dental Coral Gables and they did not even mention something about a deep cleaning, they did the X-Rays in about 10 minutes or less and immediately proceeded with the regular cleaning and then the Dr. was amazing and actually took the time to explain everything to me. Oh, and all paperwork was filled online and you wait in the car until it is your turn. I called about 10 different places and NONE of them knew about something called "INTERMEDIATE CLEANING" you are either a regular or a deep cleaning which requires anesthesia. That's how I feel every time I go see Dr. De-Aguirre which is not often enough but she always makes me feel better after giving me " the bad news " by fixing what is broken and giving sound dental advice. Like Patrick said she never gives you the feeling she is trying to run up the bill on you with unnecessary treatments. I had an emergency where I broke off one of my front teeth and had a public speaking engagement for Rotary in front of 300 people and she got me looking presentable the next day. Make an appointment in the Coral Gables office if you can. She is there Tuesdays and Thursdays - nice location great parking and the best dentist in town with the best smile ! That's a good and rare thing, usually doctors don't even look your way when you're at their office, they just hand you over to whoever. Not here. Infinity dental greeted me with open hands. I could not be happier. The office itself is brand spankin new, and beautiful and clean. The whitening treatment itself was about an hour to an hour and a half, it all depends on how many times you do the sessions (they are 15 minutes long each session). When I laid down to get my whitening done, they asked me what music I wanted to hear, and to my surprise they had a huge laptop with spotify open, ready at my request to hear whatever song I wanted while getting the treatment done. This is such a COOL concept! I've never experienced anything like it. They told me they wanted me to feel comfortable and entertained. I was very impressed. I definitely recommend infinity dental and could not be any happier and excited about my results! My teeth came out almost 3 shades lighter! I knew I had 2 small cavities, and felt an impact from one wisdom tooth on my bottom left side. So I naively, went by myself to Dental Boost. 15 minutes later, I walk out with an $8,000.00 bill. Their staff insisted the best option would be to get a credit card through them from "Care Credit". They said I had 12 cavities, needed 4 wisdom teeth removed for "precautionary purposes" since one was bothering me, and should get Invisalign for the ONE tooth I had that was slightly slanted to the right. (Mind you, my entire life people would compliment me on how straight my teeth were.) Oh and they charged me for both bottom and top row teeth Invisalign. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! I was naïve and thought Dr.Gabaldon was a sweet lady and that all the staff was honest and kind, little did I know they were taking advantage of me because I was 19 and I didn't have any parent or guardian with me, to call them on their bullshit. Towards the end of all the so-called treatments, the staff tried to trick me into paying an additional $2,000 that I had already paid and until I got extremely angry and had my mother speak with them, they said "Oh no, youre right! you did pay it, our mistake". Fast forward, I am 26 now, and 2 of the fillings they did came out, exposing the nerves. I go to visit another dentist, and the dentist tells me 1. I don't have fillings in any teeth except 2 molars, and it was done so poorly, that I will now need 2 root canals, and crowns for those teeth, as well as medication for an infection that the poorly done filling has caused me.
