Everyone took off for their restaurant of choice, I headed to McDonald's, and we met up in the common seating area. My Mickey D's experience was thumbs up, a friendly initial interaction, placed my order for a Quarter Pounder w/cheese meal, got my food in just a couple of minutes, and went looking for an available table. The burger was warm and good, the fries great. This was exactly what I want when I visit a McDonald's. The McDonald's website shows they are open 24hrs, which if true is a real convenience when faced with delayed flights.

The staff was friendly and clear when confirming my order and everything felt efficient without being rushed. My food was ready by the time I got to the window and everything was correct. After a few navigational errors because of road construction, I made my way. The location is easy enough to get to and the store looks new, or at least very well maintained. The store is closed to business inside, but the drive-thru was hopping at dinner time. That told me it was probably very popular. Pretty good sign. Perusing the drive-thru menu on the way to the speaker, we made our choices. The person on the other end of the speaker was very pleasant and helpful. Once I got to the window, the young man at the window was also very pleasant and helpful. They made doing business with them a good experience. We got our food and traveled to a nearby parking spot to chow down. At the window, I had asked the server if I would like this as much as Chick-Fil-A and he told me yes. To be honest, I really didn't. The food was good and satisfying and actually cheap, but for me, didn't rise to the level of Chick-Fil-A - especially the spicy chicken sandwich. As far as the Chicken Finger dinner, that was very good. Probably should have been my choice, but it wasn't. These are not close to my residence, so they would take a special trip to get to. Thankfully during my wife and my time visiting here we got our food with no mistakes. Also it came out hot and quickly. Could not really ask for anything else. Due to the higher prices than usual (which mind you are high anyways nowadays) three stars is a fitting rating. Service and quality was good for us but I suspect it will be extremely variable depending on the time and day.
