Never in my life have I waited in line 30-40 minutes for fast food. While we were waiting in line a very nice employee told us that they had ran out of sauces which is fine. As soon as we get to the window they proceed to charge my card and afterwards tell us they ran out of chicken. So you're telling me you couldn't tell me you ran out of chicken before charging me $35 on a whole order that only contains chicken? The lady at the window told us they only had pork. Due to religious reasons my family can not eat pork. So we kindly asked if we can get our money refunded. I asked if we could get our money refunded and she told us we would be seeing the money the same night. Obviously that's not how refunds work but to tell my very hungry and dissatisfied family that we WOULD be getting our money back the same night is a blatant lie. We went back 2 days later and low and behold still not seeing the refund. Instead of giving us our money back right then and there they asked us to call customer support. I will not be returning to this poorly managed location and I will be telling friends and family to not return here either. What a sad joke. read more

It's across the street from where I live, and I enjoy pollo tropical's food but this store in particular, in this location, has the WORST parking lot, the WORST customer service, and has the most COMPLICATED drive thru. They didn't have my food ready by the time I arrived to the window, and I had to pull up and wait for them by the curb to come outside with my food. This has to be the worst PT I have ever ordered/eaten from by far. The inside is usually dirty and the chicken looks l anorexic. Most, if not all, employees here must be inept to some degree. The manager is disrespectful to employees most of the time, even in front of costumer, they pay the minimum wage, and you have to do the work of two people. This Pollo Tropical location is atrocious. Service keeps getting worse. Recently went and had to wait 40 minutes at the drive thru. Forget about ever getting fast service there. After waiting and waiting and all the cars honking, the delivery truck shows up and starts unloading and going through the cars in the drive thru. The restaurant employee begins to take deliveries in through the door behind me and actually hits my car with the dolly full of boxes and then yells at me to pull up, when there was no room. I asked to speak to the manager, a man in his 50s, and he had no responses and agreed they couldn't handle the workload. The place also looks filthy. To top it off, the chicken was undercooked. Just never EVER go after 10pm, they won't have anything they should still have, and if they do have it be ready for it to be cold and stale. I work for a delivery service & got an order for this pollo tropical location. The app told me to go to the pick up rack and pick up the food if it is ready and will be placed there. The food wasn't on the rack so I went to the register to show them my order. The lady working there looked at it and ignored it. Then she continued doing other stuff and talking to the workers having a blast. I saw some of the workers just chilling in the back doing nothing. I waited there for around 30 minutes waiting on my order. They made everyone's else's order that came AFTER ME. They finished around 5 cars and still didn't do my order. I asked the lady again and she looked at it and ignored me. Then I saw the workers all finished with orders just talking and not doing my order. I complained to the manager at the time named Diana and she said that they were short on staff when I see the staff just chilling doing nothing! When I complained about this to her then she started making my order. I had to pick up the order around 20 minutes late because the workers there wanted to chill. I sometimes come to Pollo Tropical on my lunch break and for a fast food restaurant its not bad. They have on there menu a great variety of healthy food to choose from. I always get the chicken breast meal(which brings 2 chicken breast) that offers 2 sides u can choose from fries, rice, beans, or a side salad. There salads are not that bad as well they also have many different sauces 2 choose from for your salad or whatever you would like it for. My only complaint about this particular Pollo Tropical is that they always get there orders messed up. For instance the day i posted the pics i ordered a chicken quesadilla salad and they gave me a quarter chicken with white rice and black beans. THAT IS A NEGATIVE LOL!! Please guys make sure you check your order before driving off also a good tip is sometimes on the receipt they have a offer stating if you give your input on your order you can recieve a buy one get one free meal! They always put make the meal itself incorrect and skimp you on the quantity. Not only is it this pollo tropical but also the one on 88th and 162, the one on miller and 139 and the one on 88th and 117 ace. The quality has diminished at all locations.
