There aren't many places where I have to quit eating halfway through my meal because there's so much food, and I'm actually SAD about it. It's been too long since my last review and I couldn't hold out anymore. First, I must note the guacamole is way better than it used to be, I was harsh on it last time I reviewed (still not ready to try the cheese sauce again, yet). Not necessarily the quickest, but quick enough, and the people at the counter are always nice. Although I will say, they need to clear out that area by the drive thru window and find a way to tidy it up, but it won't keep me away! lol I tried something new today, the Regio Bowl with barbacoa, salsa roja instead of dressing. I am freaking obsessed with this meal. It's hearty, full of protein, the rice is delicious, the pico is fresh, the guac and sour cream add a velvet creaminess. Their barbacoa is just... beyond. There's only one other place that makes barbacoa this good, and it's in southwest Texas, so it's not doing me any good. lol So I'm thankful to Pollo Regio for this delicious food, and amazing barbacoa. We also tried the pastor quesadilla. I've never had their pastor before, because... that dang barbacoa, but the pastor was actually extremely good. Someplaces try too hard with pastor, but Regio does it simply and well. I have leftovers for tomorrow, and I'm *still* looking forward to the next time I can visit this place. Horrible 4 of us ordered. Food brought to table separately....all 4 meals. Last meal delivered to table 20 minutes after the first meal was was served. Chicken tenders were fried WAY too long and were burnt. Cream churros burnt to the point it was cracked with no cream inside. Asked for refund of the burnt food. They called the manager, Monica and she came in from outside after about 10 minutes. She went to the back and came out with 3 dollars, mostly in change. I said I wanted the refund on my credit card. She said the "machine isn't working ". She never even tried. She then called someone and acted like she processed the refund but couldn't give me a receipt. She said if I don't see it on my account, I can come back. The refund should have been around $14. Geez. I guess I'll have to dispute the transaction. read more

Pollo Regio on Pipeline Rd. Euless, Tx. We went on Friday, June 26, 2026, and bought the four pieces. The chicken was very good and the beans okay, but the rice was terrible! The rice was pushed down on the container and was all mushy. Terrible rice! I threw it away. I like going to Pollo Regio because I just love your chicken. I brought four of my safety team members here today for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food very much. It was the first time for one of my team members and he is now hooked for life !!! Two had the half chicken, one a pastor quesadilla, one a chicken burrito, and I had the barbacoa stuffed potato with no sour cream. I enjoyed my lunch so much, that I actually ordered another one via Door Dash for dinner, and I enjoyed it in my hotel room. I ordered extra butter, and the habanero salsa. If you haven't tried one of these yet, you need to rush over and enjoy one today. It is Slap Yo Momma Good !!! Picked up a late lunch here on Sunday. Been passing by here for years and finally decided to stop by. I ordered their half chicken with all beans from the drive through. The lady at the window was very nice and when I asked for more salsa she gave me more with a smile and without asking for any additional money. As I drove away I could smell the amazing scent of grilled meat. I was so excited to get home and dig in only to see that my half chicken was super small, overly salty, and just blah. There was nothing exciting about it. The beans were decent, but it was the salsas that really surprised me. The green salsa was super spicy and opened up all my senses. While the red was mild and had just a hint of spice. I am still undecided about Pollo Regio. It will not be my go to spot when I am craving some mesquite grilled chicken. I think I will go with my old standbys--Pollo Campero or El Pollo Loco, sorry Regio. read more

Came here with a big group and was impressed by the cleanliness, speed, and friendliness of the spot. They accommodated our entire group during lunchtime, and everyone was served in a reasonable amount of time. My group raved about the taste of their food, but I wasn't impressed. I got the Carne Asada Burrito and found it to be way too greasy. It was absolutely drenched in grease, which made it quite unappetizing. It was also pricey for the quality and not something I would order again. On the other hand, the rice and beans were pretty good! If you're in the mood for street tacos, this is a must visit restaurant. It's a hole in a wall taco chain, but it's really good. I always order the carne asada tacos, and meat is flavored really well. They have a salsa bar with a ton of options, and fresh chips to go with your meal. I really appreciate that someone from Pollo Regio reached out to me to solve the issue. They gave me a $10 credit to try the restaurant again. However it is through the app which still has some kinks to be worked out. I have been trying to redeem the $10 the first they said I couldn't use it because I ordered through the app and the redeem code can't be used on online orders. So I just tried again and ordered at the store today and this time they said I still couldn't use the code and did not give me a reason. I hope I will eventually be able to use this credit read more

I wish they had more of El Pollo Regio. I eat here often and never disappointed. The menu has a variety of items, including healthy options. I must say I haven't had anything that tasted bland at this location. The cashiers Liz and Kenia are always courteous and provide great service to everyone that walks in. The only reason it's not a five star is because it's a small place, can get busy, and the restrooms are outside. I've also seen the A/C leak onto the floor where guests are. However, the stars off have come from the raised prices as well as them charging for sauces in drive through. Never had that problem before. After ordering a whole chicken, they were going to charge us, then she said she may be able to give one or two for free. However, she said that if you eat inside then, it's not extra. I have no problem with charging extra however, with an entree, at 1-2 sauces of each should be included. If ordering a whole chicken, that's an order to feed 4-6 ppl. There should be some sauces provided for free. I understand for "extra" and cost containment but there should be some provided as standard. read more

This place is really, really awesome. Each entree can easily be split. Tacos al Pastor? Fair warning, the order comes with six tacos, spicy avocado sauce (and yes, it's on the side you spice-phobes), a roasted jalapeno, half a lime, grilled onions, and a handful of chopped cilantro. They also have this big ass 1/2 pound burger that comes topped with ham. Oh, and the burger is about the size of a Fiat hubcap. I have never seen a bigger burger diameter anywhere else. For the tacos, burger, and two drinks = $20. Now that $7 lunch special? Definitely two people can scarf that. Delicious, smoky bone-in chicken, beans (with pork fat), rice, tortillas, salsas rojo y verde, and tortillas= good, cheap eats. (in reference to TIme's review: So what that this place belches smoke.
