Great fast place food in the Spring Valley/ Nanuet area. I have been here a couple of times. The fried chicken has better flavor and texture than the grilled citrus chicken. You must try the yucca fries- crisped to perfection. The ladies at the cashier are always friendly. Place is very neat too! read more

Ordering 20 Drumsticks for a party was impossible, difficult, frustrating. I did not get the order! Sólo piernas de pollo The order taker could not comprehend I ONLY wanted Legs. EXTREME flavor. Something from a chain could taste this flavorful?? I was amazed. Citrus marinated grilled chicken was plump and juicy and managed to be both moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. They had a huge variety of combo meals and sides. I could get it with beans and keep it healthy, or go for the fried yucca, plantains, french fries, etc. It was no problem to craft a gluten-free meal for myself and a completely different meal for my spouse - he had fried chicken with fries and coleslaw that he much prefers to KFC. He loved their Guava juice. I don't like sweet drinks, so I stuck with water. I came here twice in a week because it was that good. How did they manage to get meat on those chicken wings? Amazing. Their corporate office decided to run a promotion until the end of May to provide free meals to first responders. However when I went they said they no longer participate in this. I emailed them and they responded they helped a lot but longer offer this. The current promotion however runs until end of May. That is incorrect marketing and not a fair thing todo. You cannot market to get the benefit of looking good in the press and then change your mind. If you create an ad and say this is what you will do even if is corporate then you have to keep your word. The empanadas were fresh and tasty. The sauces are made in house so no nasty packet ready sauces. The cilantro sauce was yummy and creamy. The spicy empanadas were just spicy enough. I happened to be in the area and drove past this place. My curiosity was piqued and decided to check it out. Generally, I don't eat fast food and was surprised to see this was actually more of a fast food restaurant. I expected a more mom and pop kind of vibe. The menu reminds me of a Latin KFC. Pretty much, think of your typical KFC menu, but add cilantro. I sampled the fried chicken and thought it was very well seasoned and tasty. I also tried the grilled chicken cilantro bowl which was good. Kudos to the staff because when I originally ordered the bowl, it had some kind of creamy cilantro added to it, which I wasn't fond of. They were very apologetic, happily took back the bowl and reproduced a bowl without the cream. They were very friendly and professional. The bowl has nothing on other places like Chipotle, but it's still good for a quick bite. The interior of this place looks great as everything looks brand new, mainly because the staff does a great job with the upkeep of this place. The Latin music playing definitely adds to the atmosphere. If you want REAL Latin cuisine, stay away from commercial places like this. BUT, if you are in a hurry, looking for a quick Bute and have a taste for traditional Latin spices, this place is perfect for you. read more

This place is delicious. Fried chicken is fresh and crispy. Sides are amazing. Favs are fried plantains, yummy rice, and yucca fries. Can't get enough of the sides. And flan is outstanding. Way better than KFC or Popeyes. Wish they had their own parking, but it's definitely worth the visit. I'm getting a craving to go back! Go! Go! Go! read more

good food BUT location and cleanliness sucks. chicken is terribly small, they run out of grilled chicken constantly and only sell tiny leftovers. give me a second to get on the hygiene of this place. this is the spanish version of popeye's, except the chicken is 70% smaller and it's more expensive for some reason. now, the taste is great. it's juicy and succulent. reminds me of the amazing Pollo Rojo that once existed in westchester. except that was the BEST and as per usual, the best food is always shut down to give you the rest of the crap. the combos do restrict you from what chicken parts you want, though, so you're stuck nibbling on a little thigh or tiny wing. the hygiene. first of all, this isn't nanuet. I dined in and this is spring valley to it's full potential. there are dirty napkins and forks/knives all over the dining room, on the way to the bathroom, in the bathroom, and there is no soap in there whatsoever. the parking is tragic because there's no designated lot. there's parking out front for three cars and the place is always packed so prepare to walk a few blocks. if you're white, prepare to get stared at like a celebrity. I recommend not dining in due to the not so clean and eyeballing environment, and also due to the the parking. call and pick up. the spicy chicken empanadas are to die for, their cilantro sauce with their version of the chicken nuggets is great, the grilled chicken overall is phenomenal. also highly recommend the yucca and plantain fries. coleslaw is also wonderful with the green bell peppers in it. I love using their little corn tortillas and wrapping the grilled chicken I shred inside. their juices on their front desk are the real deal. love their guava. read more
