This Guatamalan fried chicken export was a bit dissapointing. As it was before the branding overhaul. I'm a fried chicken aficionado, and was dissapointed by the lack of flavor, and the soggy crust. The sauces were weak in flavor and tasted like preservatives were a big part of the "formulation". It's nothing special, like as if you took a KFC and put it in a different costume and added a little latin spice to it, very little. Not a fan. read more

No sauce on the Original Chicken Sandwich - just deflated bread, the chicken, and some very sad flavorless pickles. Tables were sticky. Positives: Salad lettuce seemed nice, fresh, and crispy; chicken cooked all the way through; everyone was nice; lighting was bright and friendly. Was hesitant to order due to the yelp rating. So glad we ordered as everything was delicious and beyond expectations. We ordered through yelp and haf it delivered. Everything arrived in a timely fashion and everything was hot. We ordered a mix of fried and roasted chicken. Both were cooked to perfection, the chicken was really juicy. Both were so good we couldn't decide which we liked more. We had 3 sides, mashed potatoes, corn salad, and rice. The sides were also delicious but I would recommend fetting an extra side of each as the side portions are a little small that come with the 12 piece meal. We ordered the fried chicken, plaintains, mashed potatos, and coleslaw. My oh my that fried chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. For a fast food spot I think it was delicious. They get 3 stars. I don't know if I am exaggerating, but when you put curbside they should bring it outside. Today I placed my order for 10am curbside. I went with my 4 month old baby. It was sprinkling outside. So I go and put I am here 10:05. I am waiting until 10:20am. So I just had to inside the restaurant. I told the cashier who was just standing there because they were not even busy. And she just tells me "i know". What kind of service is that? 3.5 stars. The food itself is a mixture of things. I love the chicken and its flavor. However, the sides and the tortillas are not so great. The mashed potatoes are not all that tasty, the Cole slaw is prob the best side they have yet still needs something, their beans with pork tastes like something on the school cafeteria menu and their tortillas are so stale that even heating them up, they feel like card board. Their fresh drinks and soft drinks are pretty good, I'll admit. The location is great with plenty of parking and 15 minute curbside parking right in the front. Perfect for people who order online. The service is good. Nothing extremely generous nor bad in my opinion so no complaints there. Would I go again? Definitely but for their chicken mostly. This is a very casual restaurant in Bell Gardens in a shops center. The they are known for their chicken and the prices are very reasonable. I came here for lunch and the staff is very friendly and the restaurant was clean. I decided to get the chicken bowl which was very flavorful. The chicken was tender and moist with a nice combo of vegetable and rice. I would recognize this place for a casual meal. read more

Had this chicken this weekend. The flavored for this style of fry or grille chicken is very good super good I would say. I had both the fry and grille but my grille chicken was cold. I still ate it and found the flavored to be super good. I can bet that warm or hot it would have been awesome. The downside of this is peaces are very small, they can not be compare to Kentucky. But maybe thats why its very good in flavored. For this location cleanliness was on the poor side to my standards. I found a few tables very dirty when I came in. My family and I ate and left the same tables where still the same dirty after about .45 minutes. I would say try this chicken. With better management I would easy give this location a perfect 5. read more

the worst thing about this experience to me [& it was my first time at this location] was there was a beggar in the dining room & no employee did anything. he came in by himself & was carrying a walmart bag. the only reason i mention this is there are NO walmarts anywhere near this location. as you come into this location from the front you go straight ahead to order food, turn right to use the restrooms & the dining room is to the left [where there is another exit]. he came in the front & immediatly turned left to harrass customers for money by just going up to the tables of people trying to enjoy their meal. this is not acceptable. i doubt he needed the money. FRONT counter - watch people come in. SEE where they go, WATCH what they do, the chicken sandwitch was small, with only pickles on it. it did not look like the picture. the chicken patty was fine. the jamaica drink was perfect & it wasn't crazy sweet. the mango drink tasted watered down & a NO. there's a reason this place only gets 2 1/2 stars, plus it's expensive. i know all 'fast food' prices went up the past couple years but NOT worth it. read more
