Multiple times through the service she paused to check in that I liked the length, shape, color, design etc. I appreciate that so much because we all know it can be hard to speak up when something isn't quite what we want. And omg she was fast. She removed my previous design, filled/shaped, and painted in just 40 mins. Such a excellent experience 10/10 The salon itself is clean and very cute. I ended up waiting about an hour while staff kept going back and forth, clearly frustrated about who was going to deal with my nail. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Eventually, a different technician took over, and the service was rough and painful. She was pulling my hand, filing aggressively on the sides, and it actually hurt. The nail was done carelessly and didn't even match the rest of my set. On top of that, the attitude was obvious. Between the tone, looks, and the way they were going back and forth in their language, it was clear I was being treated like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. Don't assume customers don't notice just because you're speaking another language. After years of loyalty, this was extremely disappointing. I felt disrespected and unwelcome. They lost a long-time customer.

Since Mirai does not offer acrylic nails, I agreed to try their Gel-X service. My natural nails were cut down in preparation for the application. What should have been a routine appointment turned into a nearly four-hour ordeal. The Gel-X application alone took approximately three hours, followed by another hour for a basic pedicure. For the amount of time spent and the price charged ($130 before tip), I expected a much better result. The nails are uneven, overly thick, and have an unnatural appearance. Several nails curve dramatically downward, creating a claw-like look rather than the clean, natural shape Gel-X is known for. Looking underneath the nails, there are noticeable gaps and inconsistencies in the application. I left feeling disappointed instead of happy with the finished product. The most frustrating part is that I paid a premium price and invested half my day, only to come home considering removing the nails myself. I rarely leave negative reviews, but when a service costs this much and takes this long, the quality should reflect it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Gel-X service at Mirai. I genuinely wish them well, but I will not be returning.

I decided to give this place another try and I regret my decision. They seem to lack in a lot of stuff from service to nail art . They are also too rough with your nails to the point that they sometimes make you bleed. I wanted rainbow nails and tho I kinda got it, it looks super sloppy . Kevin always seems to be rushing when doing your nails, because he has too much going on around him ... the other manicurists always ask him for help because they don't know how to do it themselves then leaves you unattended for awhile. Staff had the audacity to YELL at my 14 year old sister for my mom being a FEW minutes late to pick her up, literally blocked the door from my sister and told her the reason for that was because they had a MEXICAN GIRL steal product from them a week ago and they did not want my sister to leave without paying. SHE IS 14, THEY RACIALLY PROFILED MY SISTER FOR BEING A BROWN MEXICAN GIRL. Even at one point she accidentally drilled my skin. When we started the design, the base polish used was not the one I had requested. Then, when doing the black French design, the lines were noticeably uneven and inconsistent none of them looked the same. I left feeling really disappointed because I've been coming here frequently since July and been recommending/bringing family here. Also I have always tried to be understanding and patient. I want to continue coming here, but being treated this way and receiving a service that didn't meet the quality I've come to expect was very upsetting. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe customers should be able to point out things they'd like corrected without feeling like they are inconveniencing or upsetting the person providing the service.
