A fresh set should not be falling apart this quickly, especially for the price charged. I attached photos because I wanted to show the condition of my nails only days after getting them done. The nail technicians are incredibly skilled and have a great aesthetic sense; they satisfy me with every detail. The prices are reasonable and not expensive. We argued about it but the receptionist said prices can go up at anytime. Just because they say it or it's "policy" doesnt make it right or legal. I finally got them down $10 but I'm not going back. Under new management. The salon was empty and this may be why. Not a good way to treat good clients. $40 for basic mani-pedi less $2 for cash is $38. She tried to charge me $58. Finally she gave me the sr discount ( which I never rec'd be4 and I'm n my 80's). I don't know what else she deducted but I paid $48+tip. Crystal did a good job. The quality of service has clearly declined, and I will not be returning. I received a gel manicure and pedicure. During the manicure, the technician was speaking loudly the entire time, which was extremely overstimulating. He appeared rushed, distracted, and frequently looked around instead of focusing on my nails. When the service was finished, I noticed the gel was bumpy and uneven. Although they offered to fix it, correcting gel polish would have required soaking or filing down my nails further. My nails are already thin from a visit two weeks ago with the same technician, and the gel polish from that service chipped after only one week. I didn't want to be rude by asking for a different technician and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am genuinely unhappy with the results, especially for what should be a straightforward gel manicure. On a positive note, the technician who did my pedicure took her time and did a great job. Unfortunately, I don't get much time to treat myself to nail services, and while this salon is conveniently located near my home, I will no longer be returning or recommending it to friends.
