I ALMOST never do reviews, but the experience I had with this nail salon was absolutely horrible. I walked in without out an appt. in which walk ins are welcome as stated on there business card. The person that greeted me was the wife of the husband that own the salon. The wife was extremely welcoming, I told her that she was actually the person that did my pedicure the last time and I came and she was really nice. She asked me was it ok if she was not available, I told her yes that was actually ok, I didn't mind. She is so walked away from the font desk and proceeded to go ask her husband "Can I do a pedicure?" His response, loud and clear was a very open and close "No." Then he went on to see explain. You have 4 people, blah blah blah, I couldn't really hear much after that. His walked back over and I could tell she felt bad about his response and repeatedly apologized. I told her mam it's ok, and I left. I called back to salon after about 10 mins and I explained this very thing to him and and all he said was "ok". Like I said I never do reviews but this HORRIBLE experience was a must. When I treat myself to a pedicure i except better treatment. Definitely will never go back and will never recommend. I was really looking forward to bringing my daughter there for her first time ever pedicure for her first middle school dance. But I will be looking else where. read more

I visited in December with my two daughters for pedicures and made the effort to schedule appointments so we could get our pedicures at the same time. I didn't need to bother; there were plenty of chairs but not enough technicians to work with us at the same time. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the last of us to be finished. Also, I had without a doubt the speediest pedicure EVER. After the woman tried unsuccessfully to upgrade me from the basic $27 pedicure to the $42 version ("best for dry skin" she urged), she sped through my pedicure, spending less than 5 minutes on my actual feet and the rest of the time slapping my calves for the "massage" part of the treatment. Total time: 20 minutes. It was actually pretty stressful. One of my daughters had the same disappointing 20 minute experience, and the other daughter said hers was a little longer and not so bad. I went in today to get fake nails since I am a nail biter. Also got a pedicure. The staff was so helpful!! I was able to have a relaxing glass of wine and chat with the staff. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I know I will go back because they made my visit so relaxing. I recently had back surgery and told them in case I needed to stand up. Great place to go with girlfriends, get some wine...or mimosas..and enjoy a spa day. So far I've only got nails (gel) and pedi (gel and regular) and they've done a great job every time. This place is awful. I went in for a manicure and granted my nails are sort, but no one would do as incite on me. I brought my own polish and they said they could not use it. This is a great place if you want to relax and be pampered. The inside is very nicely decorated and clean. I have been here three times and cannot complain about anything. The herbal pedicures are very soothing and the deluxe is even better- it leaves your feet feeling tingly and relaxed. I have a problem keeping the polish on my nails and they suggested a gel polish that always stays for weeks! ;) Love it! read more

The ladies, whom I referred to as "toeologists", provided superior service and were very professional and friendly. This is THE absolute best place to get your nails done in the area. It may seem a tad pricey at first but just wait until you get your services done.. AMAZING! I've almost always had Hillary as my nail technician and she is not only polite and funny but she does the best job on my pedicures. I've also had the owner, not sure of his name, do my pedicures if Hillary is not available and he, too, is awesome! I love this place. It is modern (with ipads, massage chairs, a bar and a great selection of nail colors), clean (just wait until you see the inside of this place - heaven!) and the staff are always friendly and I have never left here unsatisfied with my pedicures or manicures. To the reviewer who said she was not allowed to use her own nail polish -- I have never had a problem with using my own if I wanted to and I have seen other customers use their own as well.. I love this place! The owners and nail technicians are very professional and very skilled. The salon is very nicely decorated and immaculate---always. While the prices are a little higher than some other salons, the service and product received justifies the higher price. I have received many different services at Polished: brow waxing, facials, manicures, gel manicures and various pedicures. All have been worth the price. I expect to pay more for a better product, so the pricing wasn't a concern. One note, however, while credit cards are accepted for the services, you cannot leave a tip on a credit card. The salon requests all tips be paid in cash. Because I usually don't carry a lot of cash (if any), this is my only complaint about Polished. read more

I visited this place today for the first time and I will not go back. I decided to splurge for their Nu Spa pedicure. $42.. A decent price for all the extras included. And the guy did a great job. ..However, the girl who was doing my manicure, tried to sell me the $15 upgrade to the gel on my nails, to which I politely declined the THREE times she pushed for it. She proceeded to speed through my manicure. When I came in, my nails were in good shape already. When she was done, they were all different shapes and sizes. The whole process took her approx 7 or 8 minutes. Oh and to top it off, she made me blow on my nails after each coat of polish!! Are you kidding me, lady?!? I felt like I was being punished for not upgrading to gel! She kept saying "That's why you need gel, it dries fast and won't smudge." Lady, this is not professional and this is absolutely no way to treat your paying customers!! I will never go to this place again!! read more

My daughter visited this salon for the first time last week and I picked her up crying. The tips they put on were crooked and the nails were cut too short and square. She tried to stop the girl but was told it's too late. The cost was ridiculous. I immediately took her to my salon and they took off the tips and put on new ones and even gave her the two toned polish she had asked for at Polished. Don't waste your time here. Waited for over an hour to even be apologized to for the long wait. There were only 2 in front of me, and those who walked in clearly didn't have an appointment, but started to be serviced before me. I had not been offered a glass of wine or anything. After an hour and 20 mins I asked for a glass. Finally I was up, but the nail technician refused to do what I wanted with my nails. She cut them extremely short when I wanted them longer. She said they would break easily. This is known to me and I knew the risk. What the customer wants should not be ignored. My daughter and I went to Polished Nair Bar for a girls treat. I was very disappointed with the service. When we walked through the front door. There was employee's playing cards and not one of them could stop and greet us. There was finally someone that came from the back and asked us what services we would like to receive. I got a pedicure, and my daughter got a manicure. Before we decided to go there my daughter saw that they had a 20% coupon for a 1st time visit. I called before going in and the person I talked with on the phone said it was on their $42.00 pedicure spa treatment. When I went in and told the pedicurist about the special she went and verified the services and said it was only honored on the $50.00 pedicure. Because they would not honor what they told me on the phone. I got a basic pedicure and the service I received for the price was very poor. They charged me $30.00 and it wasn't even worth $10.00. In fact at the end, I started to wonder if they also included their tip in the total price. My daughter and I did not enjoy our experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Someone previously mentioned that it is overpriced and I agree. They are a joke and rip off! Anyone that put a 5 star rating on Yelp has to be the owners or their friends and they had plenty of them hanging around in the shop. Went for pedi this week - first time visiting. Pros - clean, nice, great massage chairs and the mini ipad was a nice thing to pass the time. Cons - an expensive pedicure for the service provided. I don't mind paying that much, but I expect more than 45 minutes to be spent for a $42 pedicure. Also, there's a sign up front that says services may be provided by a student or an apprentice. Again, I wouldn't pay that much for someone who's not yet licensed. Before deciding this is my place, I'll shop around a little. One final thing, there's a coupon online available for first time customers only. I forgot to print it out. When I asked if pulling it up on phone or their ipad would be sufficient, they said no. When I asked if I could use it next visit, the answer was a resounding no. I realized my mistake in not printing it, but good customer service suggests a little flexibility on their part would go a long way. read more
