The service I received was incredible. I had bad ingrown toenails and the lady took them out with ZERO pain. I get my nails done monthly and this was the first time I wasn't writhing in pain from them being taken out. She was so kind, caring and attentive. The French I got was well done and even. They do a pretty good job with the service but yesterday, I witnessed the owner scream and verbally assault a teenage girl (still a child) because her card declined. The young girl stood there frozen and silent as the owner berated her calling her a liar and threatening to cut off her nails when she didn't have enough money to cover the full service. From what I understood, the difference in what she paid and owed was minimal ($4.00). The owner was so aggressive that I almost got up and left but honestly felt scared. I ended up staying there frozen and in shock. She later tried to vent to me about it when she did my manicure (I was getting a pedicure during the verbal lashing). I will never side with an adult who is attacking a child. Ever! I will never go back! read more

I usually do my own nails but being on vacation I wanted to treat myself. I went in asking for a full set with mix match tortoise shell, dark brown French tips, and solid dark brown. We did arrive late, it was about an hour and a half before closing but the nail tech agreed she could do it. if she didn't think she could do it or didn't want to stay late she should have communicated that and I would've picked a different design that would have been quicker. they didn't do a full set, she did a very thin set of dip powder, with no apex so these nails will snap off with the first bit of pressure applied. the french tips are crooked, and I had to ask her to bring the color down on the sides instead of just across the top (which is how she first applied it). No buffing was none, these nails are very lumpy and rushed. The tech was either new or just wanted to go home on time (which I understand but she should've said she didn't have time for that type of design). Also the drill attachments the tech used weren't clean, they still had residue from a previous clients nails on them. They charged $75 for these nails so I didn't complain, the price seemed like she knew they weren't great. My husband also got a pedicure and they dig into his toes. They didn't use the typical cheese grater thing and left his heels basically the same as they were when we went in. We'll both be getting a redo when we get back home to our usual nail salon. read more

I searched for a nail salon in my area that was open on Sunday, there aren't many. I first visited this place 2 weeks ago . I really enjoyed the jelly pedicure, although they didn't do a very good job removing the dry skin from my soles. I also tried the S & S full set , I really liked the shape and color I returned in 2 weeks for a fill and I guess that isn't an option for S & S , I was in aware . I needed to replace 2 nails so decided on getting a new set since they have grown out a lot . The set I received was not even misshaped and painful . I asked for a manicure and was given bloody and ugly cuticles . The set took over an hour and was charged $20 for cutting my cuticles and $65 for a full set . Very poor service. The nail tech was yelling at the other nail tech during the entire appointment. They kept telling people to come sit down and they were VERY short staffed but should have communicated how long it would be. The nail tech was rushing my services so she could get to other customers. My friend and I both received sns manicures and were cut MULTIPLE times by the techs. In which neither nail tech addressed the blood coming out of both of our fingers. And not to mention the finished product of friends nails looked like a 3rd grader did it. She had to go home and fix them herself. AND charged us an unreasonable price for the manicured. I understand being short staffed but not being polite and respectful to your customers is a whole different story. I do not recommend to anyone! read more

I am visiting Daphne from Illinois. I needed a pedicure so I decided to give this place a try. I was able to book an appointment using their website. I received a Basic Pedicure for $30. I was very impressed that I got to pick out nail polish from a catalogue and there were a lot of choices. The young woman who did the pedicure was very friendly and efficient. She did a great job massaging my legs and feet and the polish looks great. Next time I am in Daphne I will definitely get another pedicure here!! read more

Really nice saloon. At times the options for SNS and other colors are a bit limited but Frenda is the best and always had my nails shaped and colored the way I like. Which seems to be a problem in other nail shops around here. I would love to give Paradise Nails a better review because they are one of my favorite nail salons on the Eastern Shore. Unfortunately I witnessed some very rude behavior from staff towards another customer (she was talking to other staff about her color choice.) And then my daughter showed up at 4:45 to get her polish removed and they basically locked the door in her face and told her to come back tomorrow! They have hours posted on the door, open until 5:00pm. She wasn't asking for a mani/pedi! If you are open until 5, accept customers until that time, otherwise change your sign to 4:45. read more

Do not go here if you have sensitive feet!!! Whatever they used burnt my toes and sole of my foot and the artist ignored my instructions for my sensitive toe. The massage chair bruised my back. I would go back for a manicure because of their excellent color selection but I would not recommend for pedicures, and I am very reluctant due to the fact that I have open cuts from my pedicure. read more

Not sure I am sold after two visits. I went because I had heard Frenda worked there - she does not any longer. The first nail tech did a great job on the finished product but the apprentice on my second visit shaped them funny and couldn't understand me asking her to fix them. She also rushed through the process. It seems there are a lot of hidden fees as well! They will NOT tell you up front about any extra fees. Nail tips will cost you $10 extra for a set; want all color but one glitter nail or one different color nail? $5 extra. Like why? I am not sure I want to go back unless I am only getting one color on natural nails. Also, I have been the ONLY customer in there both times with two technicians total. I've been to this place quite a few times. My only real complaint is that they only have typically 2 maybe 3 people working at all times. This unfortunately leads to a long wait and a pedi and mani has ran me 2 hours in here. Frenda is the best for your nails if you stop in. The pedicures are really lacking which is probably why they're kinda of cheap for the area (no massage and a quick slap on of lotion) and there is a funny odor in the place I can't quite describe it. I quit going back because the service is just too slow and the last time I was there two of the women working were getting into a heated argument in their native language which was unprofessional ( it was the manager and another girl) and I was charged more for a gel color without being told it was an upcharge. read more
