I get my nails done monthly and this was the first time I wasn't writhing in pain from them being taken out. She was so kind, caring and attentive. The French I got was well done and even. I would highly recommend coming here if you're concerned at all with ingrowns or are particular about French design. The salon was clean and had a nice smell due to a lit candle.

The young girl stood there frozen and silent as the owner berated her calling her a liar and threatening to cut off her nails when she didn't have enough money to cover the full service. From what I understood, the difference in what she paid and owed was minimal ($4.00). The owner was so aggressive that I almost got up and left but honestly felt scared. I ended up staying there frozen and in shock. She later tried to vent to me about it when she did my manicure (I was getting a pedicure during the verbal lashing). I will never side with an adult who is attacking a child. Ever! I will never go back!

As for the actual service, I liked the pedicure. I got the Wellness Pedicure, which included a foot bath, foot scrub, paraffin wax, and a foot massage. The nail technician did an excellent job as I was relaxed during the entire time. For the manicure, I got white gel squoval nails. The nail technician was able to get my nails to the straight and pristine squoval shape with my natural nails, despite my nails being short to begin with. The service was fast and efficient. Plus, the nail technician even cleaned up stray and bleeding paint lines. Overall, I liked every part of my experience at Vivian's Nails except for the waiting.

I stopped her half way and i was like oh i though i would have a base color too like i didn't think this is what you meant and then her and another lady reassured me saying that this wasn't it and that they would add a pinky neutral color on top and i was like ok yea that's fine. NOPE, slapped the top coat on and called it a day, CHARGE me extra and didn't do anything when i told them my concerns. 55$ down the drain for some plain white nail polish ONLY on the tips of my toes with my bare nail still showing.

I was lucky enough to be seated with Malinda, and she was a joy from the very beginning! Warm smile, super friendly, and just easy to talk to. I wanted to do something a little different this time and go for a fall tone, and she helped me pick the perfect shade of brown. She even suggested adding a glass finish to give it a little extra pop and tested it on one nail first to make sure I liked it. The woman is truly an artist! My nails now look like the ultimate hot cocoa! I couldn't be happier and will definitely be asking for Melinda again. Highly recommend her if you want someone who takes pride in their work and makes the whole experience fun and relaxing.
