Diam was my technician today. I didn't realize how damaged my nails were from previous gel…read moremanicures. She spent the first 30 minutes just removing and ever so gently removing an acrylic from my nail beds. When she used the drill, it was the right speed and pressure. She was maticulous about not damaging my nails further. The gel polish manicure was the thickness of what regular polish looks like. Perfect! Then...my favorite! She applied oil to my cuticles (that she cleaned up) and then lotion. I received a hand massage that could have put me to sleep! She was quiet, and very kind. The owner was informative and joked with us too. I was eating at Mary Anne's deli and saw this salon across the street. Since it is a rainy Monday, I was able to get a walk in appointment. The atmosphere is quiet with some soft rock music playing on the TV. It's not plush or fancy, but I was able to see outside their doors to the "goings on of Fairhope's busiest street". I am so relaxed. Their cost for a gel manicure is $39! It's what I pay elsewhere, and this is convenient to get to here. I'll certainly be back. All technicians seemed really good.
