I called and they were about to close but the owner allowed me to come in the next morning an hour prior to them opening, which was amazing. Upon arrival, the place was spacious and very clean. My tech was cleaning the pedicure chair I was going to be using. His name was Si. He wore gloves and masks the whole time. I was able to get my pedi and gel mani in the same chair, thus not having to move around while the place got busier. Si was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. He took his time and did not rush the process even though the place was getting busier. I am extremely happy with the service. For services they have a menu and you can choose your experience. So, the price level is up to what you want. I would go back to Si at this location and this review reflects only his service and what I saw as far as cleanliness and space of the place. I am in town to go on…read morea cruise, and didn't have time before leaving to get my nails done. since we stayed all night near her shop, I decided to call her the morning of our cruise to see if I could get an appointment. She was so sweet to open up and give me a 9:45 appointment. What a blessing she is! I received a beautiful manicure with gel nails, while we exchanged our testimonies of how God has worked in our lives, and as Tammy said, "he can bring beauty from ashes." With my pedicure, I have a couple of preferences, like no drill on the gel toes. This seemed to cause them to have feelings they had to file my toes. They seem to have just a handful of staff members, so walk ins could be a challenge. It felt a little chaotic at first. They tried to separate my friend and I who made our appts together: one at the table, one in the pedi chair. After clarifying we want to be together, they allowed it. Overall, my nails look great. They misunderstood me multiple times and did their own thing. I asked for regular gel polish but she used acrylic or some sort, that I did not asked for. I have spent a long time growing my nails and this is was very damaging to my nails, so I am very upset that they did this without speaking to me about it. She shaved off so much of my natural nail bed that the corners of my nails are so numb from pain from the nail bed being exposed and being covered with acrylic. I used to get acrylic nails before and never had this pain. Then again, I didn't even ask for acrylic. i said gel polish. I would much rather go to a place where they speak to me and try to understand me as much as they can. It was an overstimulating experience with the ladies constantly yelling as they speak to each other and having my nails aggressively shaved off so fast. On top of this it was more expensive than what i usually pay somewhere else.

The powder didn't cost more, they just wanted the cost of a French set. Additionally, the grit on the bit they use is WAY TOO HARSH for the natural nail. Not sure how they haven't already been reported to the Alabama Board of Cosmetology. I do NOT recommend.
