As for the actual service, I liked the pedicure. I got the Wellness Pedicure, which included a foot bath, foot scrub, paraffin wax, and a foot massage. The nail technician did an excellent job as I was relaxed during the entire time. For the manicure, I got white gel squoval nails. The nail technician was able to get my nails to the straight and pristine squoval shape with my natural nails, despite my nails being short to begin with. The service was fast and efficient. Plus, the nail technician even cleaned up stray and bleeding paint lines. Overall, I liked every part of my experience at Vivian's Nails except for the waiting.

I normally come to this nail salon because of the quality of her product and the fact that it is usually very clean. The nail tech came to start on my nails while I was getting a pedicure, I explained to her that my nails are usually sensitive so please don't drill a lot, but she still drilled heavy. I also asked if she could taper my nails at an angle because I don't like the square shape. I hate the fact that they don't understand English but want to own a shop and hurt people, if you don't understand English, take the time and learn if you want to offer services to the public! Once she started adding the acrylic I said excuse me that is not what I asked you for, I wanted my nail to be tapered and not all this acrylic because now you have to drill a lot to get this down. This lady gets upset and scream across the room Taylor!! Then Taylor come over and say to the tech, she wanted her nails to be in the coffin shape; and then tell me that I should have told her that, I said I am not a nail technician this is what I pay you all for; after that Taylor the owner takes over and drilled heavy on my nails! She put acrylic all over my skin so much that my nails were burning underneath! This caused me severe pain! After treating me like this then charged me $160.00 for a horrific service!! let me tell you all, don't go to this nail salon!!!! The poor ladies in there are scared of the owner!! I came into Purity Nails with my parents on a Saturday afternoon, and they treated us great! While…read morethey do offer walk-ins, I called ahead to schedule a same-day appointment to ensue all three of us could be taken care of at the same time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to select our polishes. They were able to immediately seat us in the pedicure chairs and have a staff member work on us right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure we got the manicures and pedicures we wanted. The pedicure was very typical to what you'd expect at any other nail salon, finished with hot towels wrapped around your shins. Tools they used were clean, and they had great attention to detail. I wasn't a fan of the massage chair, as it felt very weak and beeped every time I pressed a button. Wasn't awful, but I've experienced better. There's plenty of magazines to read and also a live television to watch while you are waiting (the local news was on when I was in). Purity Nails advertises their gift certificates, but those expire 6 months after purchase. If you end up getting one, I'd highly recommend paying very close attention to the expiration date! Their prices are great. They have three tiers of manicures and pedicures. At the lowest level, you can get a regular manicure for $12 and a spa pedicure for $22. I'm pretty sure there's a discount for the women's manicure and pedicure ($32 for the combo, but don't quote me on that). I only say that because a men's manicure and pedicure is $35, and the men's spa pedicure a la carte is $25 instead of $22 for women's. Good value, will return for nail services when I'm in town!

They did not trim my nails as I asked. Loved the color, next on to the Dip nails, or they call it SNS. Well my nails look horrible, the edges are rough, my nails bend, which shouldn't happen. There are serious ridges on several of my nails. The edges were not filed down. Needless to say I felt like this place has a lot to learn about doing nails and pedicures. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!

Now I am proud to show off my nails. Camden was amazing. Professional, sweet and took her time making my hands nails shine. I like to have simple polish nail look and this was accomplished. The salon is inviting, plus extremely clean. I am always looking for something not clean, but I could find nothing. You will not go wrong booking a nail appointment. The appointments do take about 2.5 hours cause they do such amazing job, just to ready to be there for a bit - but worth it. My daughter went about month ago for manicure and her nails still look amazing.
