First of all, the salon is nice & bright, spacious & clean. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted & signed in right away. Everyone was so friendly. My pedicure was started within one minute, and the pedicure chair was really soft & cushy. Em did an amazing job. So relaxing! And my toenails look great. I really liked this place. They have good customer service for my experience and Kim was really nice and did a great job. They offer different types of services including for what I could see hair services too. The place was clean and they had a good selection of colors to pick from. It seems like they get busy so they have a lot of working stations. I didn't have an appointment but they got me in very quickly. I got the SNS which is dipping power technique. She did a great job. I'm happy with the way they turned out. They have a website with a menu listing all the type is services they offer. They also have some online specials offers for what I could remember at the time I checked it out. You may be able to book appointments online if I remember correctly too. Bathrooms were clean too. I have definitely found a place I would come to when I'm visiting town. read more

I'm not one to typically leave reviews bits this is so annoying. I paid $50 which is what i normally pay for SNS with tips and the oval shape. But the first thing i notice is that where most places would make it thicker where the tip meets the nail, they left it so thin i could actually feel the tip. The second thing is that my pink nail is completely crooked. Lastly, i got my nails done Wednesday before Thanksgiving and by Sunday, my thumb nail broke. Then by Monday my ring finger broke. I wasn't doing anything that i wouldn't normally do when i have my nails on and they're never broken like this before so soon after getting them. I am very disappointed. read more

Before this experience, I have never had my nails done. I really wanted to have them done for a Mardi Gras Ball, though. I gave them four stars because even though I made an appointment I still had to wait for awhile before someone worked on my nails. It was a few days before a ball so it's a given it was going to be busy, so you might have a different experience if you go during an off season. Other then the long wait, I was very impressed. I got gel polish on my fingers and vinyl polish on my toes. They both lasted about three weeks without any chips or imperfections. I have no complaints about the quality of my nails. read more

I actually love this place but I do have a problem whenever I was getting my nails done the other day I had a chance to look at the person doing my nails and I saw not one not two but three bugs crawling in her head I can only think that this was lice and it immediately shocked me and I wanted to kind of get away I will never come back until this problem is resolved all I can say is the persons name starts with the letter K. We were in town for a gymnastic meet. This was the first thing that popped up that was by our hotel. We walked in and the girl immediately greet us and seat us at the pedi chairs. The techs was nice and gentle on my girls. The place itself was nice and clean. There's a hair salon on one side of the shop. Not a bad place at all to come to if I was living here. read more

My hair stylist Chelsea was fantastic. I had gone to her with over processed damaged hair. In one treatment we restored color with subtle highlights that glistens in the sunlight! My hair looks healthy again. Has terrific body and "swing" when I walk.This salon has a very clean and modern appearance. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of treatment you receive. I'm writing this review for my wife and for myself. She gets her hair and nails done here and I get my hair cut. This is undoubtedly the best place in the city for your mani/pedi, hair & spa needs. Although they're always busy (a sign of quality work), the staff gets us in on time. Once you're in the chair, you won't be rushed and you can expect to walk out looking and feeling great! My wife loves the nail stations; they definitely didn't skimp on the details. The place looks classy and is always kept clean. I've never tried to roll in without an appointment; I'm not sure if they take walk-ins. Either way, I'd recommend an appointment given the high demand. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. They will mess them up. I went in for SNS manicure and eyebrow wax. The Manicure was awesome! My nails look great. But avoid getting your eyebrows waxed here, they take off way to much and all the hard work i did to grow them out for so long is ruined. I told her not to take off a lot, that I wanted them to be natural, she over shaped them, and put a huge space in the middle of them, about 2 or 3 inches. I would like to start by saying I was a happy and loyal customer to the royal day spa for over a year (since i've lived in AL). I went through a few different techs and fell in love with one who no longer works there. When my tech left, I stopped going to Royal. I really wanted a mani and pedi so I went in the other day for an SNS manicure on natural nails. First: my tech was rude and made comments about my fingers being crooked out loud. During my pedi, a vital step was missed, making my scrub a very dry one. I also did not receive lotion (Which is included in my pedi). After my manicure was complete (Another vital step was missed so my color didnt payoff properly) i was dissatisfied but also out of time. I was offered to soak the product off and start over.I was told they could do a gel mani over the sns. I agreed. A clear coat was not put on top of my gel and my nails were left dull, misshaped, and bumpy. Even with ALL these things, i STILL tipped (in cash). I called in the next day to see if my nails could be redone, only to be told that i would have to pay all over again! I just gave yall 68.00 plus a tip for work i was not even happy with! I said well what if i just want to come in and have the gel and sns removed and nothing reapplied. i was told i would have to pay 11.00??! Mind you, it was the very next day!Poor customer service move in my opinion. I will NEVER return here again for even a polish change. I feel like my money nor satisfaction matter to this business. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in for a facial. I've had plenty in the past. I know what they are supposed to feel like. The reviews online for this place are magnificent. So I was very excited, and had no doubt this would be an amazing facial. Boy was I wrong. I went in and they told me to wait as the woman who was giving me my facial was not finished yet with her current client. No problem, I patiently waited. When I sat down, I saw she was cutting another girl's hair. This was really confusing because how would a hair stylist be qualified to give me a facial? I wanted someone who specialized in facials and massages. I told myself not to judge and continued on. We got to the room. She pulled down the covers of the bed I'd be laying in. There were stains on the sheets... there was no relaxing music, the lights were too bright. Everything was just very wrong. I undressed as usual and laid in the bed. She was a very nice lady but I could tell she had no clue what she was doing. They are supposed to massage your neck up into your hair and your shoulders. This woman applied no pressure. Zero pressure. It was terrible. I thought to myself I hope this facial is no more than 20 bucks. It was 70 DOLLARS. For a facial from someone who did nothing for me. It was not relaxing. It was awful in every way. But I told her it was good because I didn't want to make a fuss. She was a nice lady but she gave me the worst facial I've ever had. I paid for the facial, told them thank you, and I will never return. These people are not professionals. I was surprised that a place with over 4 stars would be like this. And this drink that everyone supposedly gets with any service? Yeah I got offered nothing. read more
