Deceptive pricing. Came in for a French manicure. They had me choose from three different powders... but failed to disclose that one shade was priced higher than the others. I asked how much the acrylic set was; $40. I decided to STOP after the nails were shaped. No clear coat, no polish, nothing. They told me it would be $55, the price of a pink and white fill in..... my nails were bare when I walked in so this makes no sense. The powder didn't cost more, they just wanted the cost of a French set. Additionally, the grit on the bit they use is WAY TOO HARSH for the natural nail. Not sure how they haven't already been reported to the Alabama Board of Cosmetology. I do NOT recommend. read more

I asked the lady for a matching glitter nail, she ignored me and said glitter is already in the polish. Idk if they were having a bad day or what but, this last experience was really bad. I will never return. I'll be fair with a disclaimer and mention that I went on Labor Day right before a crowd strolled in for a mani and pedi while they were short-staffed, so feel free to take my review with a grain of salt. I was told to sit and then waited 20 minutes before they even turned on the water for me to soak my feet. I think they forgot I was there. Once I was being worked on, everything went as normal. When finished, I went to the mani desk and told them I wanted an American powder mani. I waited just a few minutes while the main manicurist gave the lady next to me her cuticle oil and lotion. Once she was done she started working on my nails. She literally took off my previous polish, put the powder on, filed my nails then sent me out the door. No cleaning, no cuticle trim, no oil, no lotion. The reason I get this manicure is because of how long it lasts. In less than a week it already looks like I'm on the verge of needing a fill-in. read more

My finger got infected here. I told the nail tech my finger was hurting but she said it would stop and would be fine a day later my finger was swollen and in a lot of pain. I went somewhere else to have them take the nail off and it was disgusting. I had yellow pus coming from under my nail bed. Stay away from here. I left a review on their Facebook page and the guy Peter that works there started bashing me calling me derogatory names because of my review. Not too bad considering they are one of the few places open on Sunday in Mobile. Very busy but I got attended to fairly quickly. Staff was friendly and price is average. The thickness of my acrylics varied from nail to nail and the top clear coat wasn't smooth on every one. Not the worst but I will stick to my normal nail place unless it's an emergency! read more

This just might be my new nail place! Lucky for me it's only 3 min from my house. I tried this place because of the great reviews and figured I'd give it a try. Plus, it was a Sunday afternoon and not all salons are open on Sundays. I had a horrible SNS experience at a DIFFERENT nail salon across the bay so I've been a little hesitant to try anywhere. I decided to head into Linda's salon because it is rare that my yelp friends ever fail me- thanks guys! This experience was GREAT! My nail tech took his time, and didn't make me feel like he was rushing through. I did the SNS dip and man oh man there are SO MANY OPTIONS!!!! A girl has a hard time making up her mind as it is, but when I saw the #39 glitter I had to have it, I don't care if fall is right around the corner and Starbucks is already selling pumpkin spice. He shaped my nails just as I asked and took a lot time effort to make sure they were even. You know, the thing that salons should do but don't always. Everyone at Lindas is really friendly. They also have a punch card if you frequent their shop. I felt like the price for the SNS was good too. Love that they are open on Sundays! I came the day before a holiday and they worked everyone in!

I went in for a mani/ pedi and was put into a pedi chair where I waited for almost 45 minutes to be seen. They were closing early and it got very busy with only a few people working. I paid for a deluxe pedi and got an extremely fast and rushed half done pedicure. Then came my extremely rushed manicure that maybe lasted 10 minutes and looked awful. All the while, they kept letting people come in. I didn't even want to stay for my nails to dry then realized when I got in the car that I had been charged almost $20 over what my bill should have been. I was so irritated that I didn't even want to go back inside to get my money back. Here's a tip, do not allow so many people in and rush through services!!!! I went to get my nails done and they did an okay job. The place is nasty though. It was mold around the faucets in the pedicure tub, around the sinks, and it looked like no one ever cleans there. Dust everywhere, nasty sneeze guards, floors needed to be sweeper, mopped and it just needs lots of upgrades. Please somebody step up and clean it up. read more

The nail tech was nice and did an amazing job! I asked for an sns dip with a blue base and blue glitter ombré. This is the first salon I've been to in Mobile that offered ombré sns so I was extremely excited to try it! She also did a great job achieving the shape was looking for. I have tried this location twice and I don't believe I'll ever return...my pedicure seemed rushed by the man who works there and in the end it didn't look all that neat once it was done and I paid extra for the "deluxe pedicure." The only decent thing about it was my nails. I did SNS and it was done very neatly and the polish stayed on for 3 weeks still looking great. It could have lasted longer I'm sure if I didn't have to take it off for work, which was why I went back the second time. While I was there, on the TV both times they had on this god awful news program called OAN on and to make it short, I do not agree with the politics and view points the news programming was talking about. I don't think a nail salon should play such divisive things on TV especially when you are catering to a diverse group of people daily. read more

I'm not a mani-pedi kinda girl. I typically do my own. I could lie and say that's because I'm just super low maintenance, which I am, but the truth is, I'm also a bit of a control freak when it comes to my body parts. Nonetheless, I went with a friend for her birthday and we got all fixed up and had a great time. I really enjoyed the massage chair and the hot foot bath. I could so get used to that. I became a little paranoid when the guy sat down and started working on my feet with sharp objects and sander-like things. It didn't hurt and I survived. Not to mention, my feet really needed it. Then I got a foot rub with lotion! I love getting foot rubs! After my toe nails were all painted, it was time to move on to the fingers. I don't have those done either nor do I do them myself. I cut them and that's it. I'm way too OCD to ever have chipped nail polish on my fingers so I just don't paint them at all. They filed and buffed them, and cut my cuticles with those sharp things. That wasn't so bad either, but I didn't love the hand rub as much as I loved the foot rub. It was a bit rough in my opinion. Although they had a vast selection of polish colors and brands, I just had them paint my nails clear. The place was very clean and the people were friendly. They give you a drink while you're getting your feet done, which is nice. The whole thing set me back $40, plus tip. It was well worth it. I came home and stretched out on the couch and put my feet in my hubby's lap and told him to feel how soft they were. He caught on to my little scheme quickly, but I still ended up with another 5 minute foot rub. ;) read more

I came here for the first time on a girls date with my teammates after practice and when I say this place is Unbelievably great. ITS GREAT! I tried this salon when they first open. The first time i came service was not bad so i decided come again. Omg, the guy who did my pedicure is an appentice and was not well taught at all. He made me bleed so badly when he trim my cuticles. He cut me up on 4 toe nails and i had to go to the doctor because i had such bad infection. I could not wear shoes for days. Besides, staffs were taking in vietnamses the whole time when giving services. I am so not want to come back here.
