We love this place!! Yes, I do get pedicures on a regular basis. The cool thing was that we had been trying to get my 85 year old dad to get a pedicure - for the first time. Out of the blue, this week, he told my mom he was ready. I called and made reservations and we got in the same day. We each had the Nu Spa treatment, and he absolutely loved it. First of all, I've been here several times and always have a good experience when I don't get Hope. Hope does a rush job and is rude and condescending. I went for a pedicure, manicure, and a set of acrylics. Nancy did my pedicure and did such a phenomenal job. They were busy when I went in and I sat in a pedicure chair for 30 minutes. Nancy apologized for my wait. I wasn't really upset because I didn't have anywhere to be and she was so sweet. She did a great job and I have no complaints about her or her service at all. My pedicure from her was so relaxing. I have psoriasis and apologized to her about the flare up I'm currently having on my ankles. She assured me it was no problem at all. It can be an embarrassing autoimmune disease that is hard for me to control so it was nice that she was reassuring me. Hope, on the other hand, was a different story. As soon as I sat down, she asked me what I did to my fingers and cuticles. This was embarrassing to be chastised as a grown adult by another adult. I explained to her that I have psoriasis and that it makes the skin peel and crack on my fingers and also makes my nails brittle. Flare ups are not something I can control. She did nothing to prep my nails for a manicure and I definitely didn't get a manicure. My cuticles were not pushed back or smoothed down. She did cut them down. She glued the nail tips haphazardly on and even had to reapply glue after because a couple of nails weren't even glued all the way. When she applied the acrylic powder, she applied it a good 2 mm from my cuticle and when I asked her to go back and fix it, she gave me some excuse as to why she couldn't do it and tried to blame it on my nails. She then used the drill to file them as normal. I was then shocked that she didn't ask me to wash my hands after she filed and buffed my nails. Instead, she sprayed water on my hands, barely wiped off the dust, and began to paint them. The polish bubbled up and was not smooth because of the acrylic dust. Whoever uses this polish next time will also have the same issue because she essentially contaminated the bottle with chunks of acrylic. As she painted my nails, she constantly corrected me on how to hold my hands and told me I wasn't holding my hands in the dryer correctly. I felt like I was a child that kept getting reprimanded. She finished painting them and put cuticle oil in my palm and told me to rub it in. (That's usually something the nail tech does.) She then told me to go wash my hands. As I'm finally getting the opportunity to wash my hands, I'm noticing that my nails are different lengths and there is so much acrylic built up under my nails that it is uncomfortable. I also noticed paint on the nails was not even and several of my fingers had paint on my skin. Anyway, I go back and sit down with wet hands and ask for a paper towel. I then notice the washcloths to dry my hands and get up to grab one. She then rudely says, "That's what they are there for." After drying my hands, I ask her to fix the nails that are not the same length and use the drill to get the acrylic out from under my nails. She told me that it was my natural nail that was keeping them from being the same length but that "I do what you want. I fix but it your nail that make them uneven." Acrylic nails can be made into any length. I want them short so there's no reason that my two pinky fingers and middle fingers can't be the same length. Fixing the length should involve filing it again and repainting the nails. She filed them and they were better but still uneven. She never used the drill to fix the underside of my nails like I asked. She also never repainted my nails after filing them so the edges don't have paint and they are rough. I finally go to pay and she charged me $10 too much. At this point, I was so tired of her that I didn't argue over it. I just wanted to leave. I would have posted a picture but I went home and fixed the mistakes immediately. I would go here again because I love this place but I'd stay far away from Hope! read more

The staff was nice but I set up an appointment within an hour before they closed. A guy named Kevin worked on me and he was going super fast like he was making a few mistakes. I think he was about to go out with his family and friends. My right hand is all nice but my left hand is horrible. The nails were crooked and then on the middle finger he didn't even file it down to the coffin shape I wanted. He also wasn't very talkative either. Sadly this is the last time I'm coming to this salon. Also, DONT COME AN HOUR BEFORE ANYTHING CLOSES. Not just them. They won't do their job as well. read more

I have been to Polished many times. They have a super clean nail place, with comfy, big massaging pedicure chairs. The staff is always nice and welcoming. I have taken my kids many times and they do a really good job with the kiddos. I would highly recommend for a family outing of decadent pleasure and personal hygiene. Quite stressed out following my brother's death and impending funeral, I wanted to get a manicure for the event a little more somber than the neon green I was wearing at the time. I've been here twice, my first visit (2014) was decent, but this last one was awful. We made an appointment for 5 girls, but others without an appointment were serviced first. They also only offered one of us something to drink. On top of that, my nail tech tried to peel my toe nail off when I said I thought I cracked it. He wasn't very pleasant. For my nails (gel), they rushed them. I have had gel nails done at many salons, and I have never seen them do 2 coats then put under the UV light, so I knew that would be an issue. Unfortunately, they are peeling off after having them for only 2 days!!! I'm not the kind of person to not leave a tip despite how awful the service, but when I was rang up, they didn't give me a receipt or anything. I asked how I could tip, and they rudely responded that they don't take debit card tips, and they didn't try to provide me with a place to get cash for them. I did not see a sign that said they take only cash tips, and I sat in 2 different places in the salon, so it should have been better advertised. All of this to say... Although it's a bit pricey and they try to up sell you with the gel, they are SO worth it. This is also a bar, so you can get a nice glass of champagne or wine while you get your nails done. I got an amazingly crafted French manicure and Vincent did an incredible job. He actually took the time to make sure the tips looked good and perfect. I've never had a nail salon take so much care with that. Their pedicures are the best. They have awesome massage chairs with iPad minis attached, so you can read, scroll Facebook, or play games without draining your own battery. Being new to the area I was excited to test out a new nail salon. The salon was very busy, which is to be be expected on a Saturday. However, I asked for a gel manicure and the technician was clearly in a rush. She kept looking around for places to seat people to get their nails done. Her mind definitely was not on task as she was buffing my nails so hard that I started to bleed. Immediately she apologized, but was still in a rush to just get through with me, that she immediately started to paint my nails, and a very poor job at that. The gel did not have enough time to cure. I have visible ripples on majority of my nails. She was still trying to seat other customers while she gave a half a**ed massage and told me thank you when she was finished and rushed me to pay. went to get pedicure. first time but perfect location next to coffee shop. after about a 5 min wsit, I was brought to back where several women were getting pedIcures. I was directed to sit in one of the chairs, then a woman came after me and a pedicurist filled both our water and flipped the jets on hers on and began working on her. I asked if she could flip my jets on too and she said whoever takes care of me will. I sat for nearly 30 minutes while water became room temp. More women came in whom they seemed to already know them. They immediately filled their water and turned on all their jets and started on two of them while completely ignoring me. it was extremely awkward and I got up and quietly left.
