It was my wedding weekend, you have to specify the people you book. I had to the my nails completely redone cause they were quite literally the worst nail job I've had in my life. The owners rectified it, however less than a week into the vacation a nail popped off suddenly without any force. I heard this was the best nail salon. I disagree. Now on my honeymoon, I have to have a nail done that randomly popped off. I wouldn't recommend them. Great people, but quality is off. read more

I went to the salon and asked for gel X nails I was told when I called to make sure I ask for the person that does the nail art because that's what I wanted. They put me with a man in Branson when I arrived, he started on my nails, not Gel X but up Gel nails which took three hours when he was done I couldn't really see them very well. He started over twice... I didn't have my glasses so I went home got my glasses on they were too long. The artwork looked like a child had drawn it on when I called back he told me he could do them again the next Tuesday when I called the next Tuesday he was fully booked. He told me he give me a refund and then I could rebook for Wednesday the next day however, after three inquiries, he never let me know when he was available that day, nor did he ever call me back... He refunded my $ & I was forced to leave on a month vacation with nails that looked absolutely awful and I'll have to get them done overseas. Thumbs down read more

I had my eyebrows microfibered here on 2 strong friend recommendations. Carrie was my service provider. She did tell me that touch-ups are always required and included in the price. She recommended I call after six weeks to schedule the touch-ups. Just as Carrie said, as time passed imperfections started to be more obvious. So on the day of Week 6 I called to schedule. At first I was told to just drop in, but I insisted on a set time and it was set for the next day! I was excited. Glamour Nails called me back to moved the time back 30 minutes, which I did. I arrived a few minutes early, introduced myself to two employees and told them I was there to see Carrie for a 10:30 session. Then I sat down by the door and settled in for a short wait. Never once was I asked if I needed anything. After 25 minutes I walked and made the drive home. About an hour after I came home I called and asked to speak with Carrie. She did the opposite of apologize. Instead, she blamed it on me, saying she didn't see me in the chair and that I should have "gone looking" for her. The final straw was that she was suddenly completely booked the following day! I am waiting a full day to write this because I am over it. They can keep the full amount paid in advance. I have found a place that actually specializes in brows (duh) that is going to handle my touch-ups. read more

This will be my last review, because clearly you can tell I love this nail salon!! Two did my nails & I am in love! I have been getting SNS on my finger nails and they have made my nails thick, long & healthy. I would recommend trying SNS!! Compared to 3 months ago, you can really tell a huge difference! Today, the first week after reopening, I got a full acrylic set and pedicure. I love them! I have NEVER seen any establishment take the CDC guidelines as much as Glamour Nails. They have way less than half the staff, working every other seat and employees AND customers have to wear masks and wash your hands before you can sit down. And on all manicure tables they have plexiglass between your face and theirs. I drive 20 minutes to get there just because they are the BEST on the Eastern Shore. Bless them!!!!! read more

Every time I get my nails done here, I come out feeling super happy. Carrie does my SNS nails and she does an awesome job. I love that she takes her time and the quality shows. My SNS nails stay on for 3-4 weeks. The customer service is great and the employees always greet me with a genuine smile. I highly recommend Glamour nails as it is the BEST nail spa in Daphne, AL. I've had my nails done here before while I was in town. I'll never go back. I entered the salon and the lady closest just looked at me. Immediately after me, three white women entered and the same woman greeted them and asked what they wanted done. I left. I don't tolerated this type of behavior. I had a great experience for my first time visiting this salon. They were able to take us right away without an appointment (2 pedis and 1 mani at the same time). The pedicure was one of the best I ever had, especially considering it was a "regular" one, not the deluxe. The technician took her time and really paid attention to detail. The massage was thorough and not rushed. The hot stones were a first for me and felt wonderful. The polish was perfect. She even rolled my pant legs down for me when she was finished. I bought a close friend, who was visiting me from out of state, for a pedi. I called ahead and was told they were not taking appointments, but that there was "not much of a wait." When we entered, we were not greeted but told to choose a color. We were not offered wine, soft drink or even water. As people kept rotating through for manicure appointments, we waited. We commented that their pedicures must take much longer than manicures. After 45 minutes when others came through the door and there was no more seating space, we were moved to empty pedi chairs. No water was drawn, but we were just sitting in the chairs. Neither pedicurist spoke, made eye contact or acknowledged our presence, like telling us that she'd be with us soon. After we had been there over an hour with no service beginning, we walked out. And i will never go back. They use un-licensed assistants who are "in training", who happened to be the daughter of the owner. I believe unlisenced nail tech working anywhere but a beauty school, are illegal. read more

Prices at Glamour Nails are extremely reasonable, and they offer a full menu of services. I called ahead and said they "weren't too busy", but when I came in it took 5 minutes for them to greet me and ask me what I needed done. It was an extra 15 minutes before they took me back although anyone who came in for an appointment was taken immediately. When the tech began, there was no sense of conversation and she had a big "I'm ready to go" attitude, no communication, no eye contact. My acrylic was done entirely too thick and it was half way done. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I loved my experience here! The shop is clean & everyone was so friendly! I was a walk in & didn't wait long at all (maybe 5-10 min). The manicurist who did my pedicure was accommodating & made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She offered me water, periodically asked if I was doing ok & chatted with me. She was awesome! I went here and they came our nice but they charged me $37 for acrylic nails with regular paint, the regular price for acrylics and paint are $27. They charged me $5 fpr coffin shape and $5 for longer nails and kept a $2 tip without my permission. They put $5 on my card instead of $2. My nails came out nice but the service wasnt good. read more

Thanks to June at Glamour Nails in Daphne I've finally found a nail salon that is as good, if not better, than the Vestavia Nail Salon in Birmingham I used for 24 years. June is attentive and a master at gel polish. I go every 2 weeks and have actually had gel last on my fingers and toes for 3 weeks more than once since I started going there. Note to everyone-gel polish on fingers and toes takes 2 hours if one person does both-but they will double team (one doing fingers one doing toes at the same time) if you want it done in an hour.
