I LOVE Polished at Greenridge. I've been driving from Spartanburg there for over a year. Mya has worked with me to strengthen and repair nail damage I've had from years of acrylic nails and not so great pedicures. I haven't had acrylic nails in 2 yrs but my nails still were damaged. The salon offers a menu of different luxury services at all price ranges. They are not the most expensive or most competitive but I have always received quality service for the price. I have only used Mya. The salon stays busy and it's probably 3/4 walk ins and 1/4 appointments. I have been doing Dip Gel and mine last 4 to 5 weeks. Only once when they first started doing Dip procedure have I had any chipping and I went back after a few days with the problem and she apolitically and without hesitation redid all my nails. They have a wide variety of polish colors. They do get new colors at each season but do not have as many "new" colors as other places I've been. I have never had a problem finding a color I wanted however. They do offer nail art. Pedicures are relaxing . I do not find it to be "loud" as someone commented. While there are many nail salons in Spartanburg & Greenville I have found "my happy place" at Polished at Greenridge. read more

Racist! I came in for soak off was asked to sit in the chairs for waiting. Another person came in after they immediately sat her down to be serviced. Another came in they sat her down to be serviced then told me to go sit in next chair! As they started working on the other ladies before me! I got up and left! Because why is another woman getting a soak off before me that came in after me? That there let me know it was indeed a racial thing! I've had bad service from them before that's why I stop getting my nails done here they don't do quality nails but today I'm like I just need that taken off that's it so thought it would be a easy situation but no it instead was a racist one! read more

Well, that was disappointing. After my initial review of my first ever pedicure from a few weeks ago, my wife made an appointment for my second ever pedicure and for a manicure for herself, arranged for a Friday at 2PM. By appointment. We arrived five minutes prior to the appointment and we were invited to be seated in the pedicure massage chairs. Where we then sat unattended, or rather invisible, for 20 more minutes. There were five staff all busily working on manicures or pedicures. Four manicure customers were there. Three technicians at work on their nails with one technician probably doing a ladies nails with what must have been her friend sitting alongside waiting her turn. Three ladies were being given pedicures in the other occcupied chairs by two technicians as I think one lady was just waiting for her polish to dry. She seemed like a regular and knew the drill, so after a period of time, she shows up and left. The other two technicians were hard at work on the feet of these other two ladies, and intensely so. I am aware that there may be some miscommunication with language differences or maybe there is a cultural difference about the understanding of an appointed time and what expectations that should set, but this level of customer inattention is unacceptable. But, I was fine since my massage chair was set to full back massage and medium strength. My wife, however, also had an appointment made simultaneously to my pedicure for herself manicure. Being a good wife, taking care of her hubby, she wanted to ensure that my pedicure was underway before starting her own manicure. Which was why bad went to worse when a mother and pre-teen daughter walked in without an appointment. "Do you have time for a manicure?" "Sure" said me of the men technicians closest to the front of the shop, "Just take a seat right there", now the jump of the line is happening, and still no further notice of us sitting patiently. So I did go peruse the appointment book at the front desk. Columns of days of the week along the top and times down the rows. It seemed pretty wide open, indicating that most, if not all, of the other patrons were walk-in customers. It doesn't make any sense to have an appointment book and then not manage walk in traffic around that schedule. There wasn't even an attempt to explain to us the back log and being a bit behind and then they take another walk in, pretty much ahead of my wife in line - because she is sitting beside me and not at the manicure station. Miscommunication? Cultural differences such as an appointment meaning something else to them and a different thing to me? Or just poor customer service? Either way, too many other options to return here. At least I got a 15 minute back massage in the chair while we waited. read more

I walked in at 6pm on a Saturday. They say me in a pedicure chair right away, but I had to wait about 30 minutes before anyone helped me. Left out of there about 7:15, so it definitely took longer than I expected to receive service since they sat me right away. All in all, seemed clean, decent color selection and enjoyable pedicure. read more

I came on Friday to get my nails done for my birthday. The technician was very rough with filing and maneuvering my hands to the positions she wanted them in. It was throbbing immediately after I got my nails done, thinking she nicked the skin. Each day it has gotten more and more swollen. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to the doctor now for antibiotics. If I could give zero stars I would. Recently went in for a very simple pink & white dip. The nail tech immediately started telling me that I HAD to have tips - I had no choice. I've been getting manicures for years and was not forced to do tips. I explained to her that that I wanted a medium pink. They were so light they almost were cream colored. When applying the dip she immediately began to use a buffing block (the rough side) before the powder was properly set. She also used her nails and scraped powder off before it was properly set. I explicitly told her I did not want a glitter or pearlescent finish and she put a pearlescent layer on mine. My pink and white powder was not even, had areas that were extremely thick and areas where the white dip was two different shades. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. After the tech repeatedly did what I asked her not to - making my nails allow like a train wreck I finally had enough. I left before she could screw them up even more. I had to go to someone else to fix my nails which meant having to take everything off and start completely over. The nail tech at another salon said it was the worst she's ever seen. I was charged $70 for nails that looked like they we're done blindfolded. DO NOT GO TO POLISHED. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! read more

Clean atmosphere and professional staff. Prices are not overly priced, but not competitive either. Love the location..i can stop in while my husband is at Total Wine for hours. My pedicure can look good up until 3-4 weeks without any chips. My manicure is another story, but it's fine with me as I can get tired of a nail color soon. It was decent. I enjoyed that you could pick how pampered you wanted to be. I picked the Preferred option for my pedicure with gel manicure. I left with super soft hands and feet. They also have plenty of color choice options for regular and gel polish. I feel like my manicurist could have done a better job with the gel, but that's the only complaint. I might try another place or two but I'm open to coming back here. Like I said, feeling pampered feels great. Update: went from four stars to three, after six days, my nails chipped. That's pretty absurd for gel nails. Went to another salon to get them fixed and with the same number of coats and my gel is much thinner that it didn't hurt (it's not supposed to hurt!) when I placed it in the UV lamp. A little disappointed, based on the other reviews I was expecting a pampered experience. That was not the case. The girl that did my nails was polite and they turned out nice but she kept leaving me sitting there to go talk with the other girls. It is very loud in there everyone (mostly the staff) talking with no regard for the fact that most people come here for a quiet relaxing experience. All of this was additionally surprising since it was a Monday afternoon... Not like a busy Saturday. This was my first visit and based on the noise level and service I won't be back. read more

The manicurist who did my fill in did a less than desired job. They were very distracted the entire time and kept hitting outside my nails on my skin which isn't pleasant. They were distracted and filed my nail too far down on the corner and the file cut my skin. My nails also aren't at all even. One side is thicker than the other on almost all my nails. I had a "coffin" shape and they made them all squared which I don't like at all. The acrylic nor polish goes all the way to my cuticle so I'll have to get them refilled again way sooner than necessary. My normal salon takes maybe 20ish minutes to fill in and re paint my nails and it took the polished tech an hour. Way too long. I was on my lunch break and was late getting back to work. All in all not a good experience and I will not be back. Not worth the time or money. read more

Best nail salon in Greenville! There are plenty of nail salons down the street from my house but I drive 20+ minutes to Polished because it's more than worth it. Beautiful decor and I'm always greeted by smiling faces when I walk in the door. Gel manicures can be a little pricey but the people at Polished take their time. Really gone downhill in the past year. Used to be my favorite, but will not be returning. My 20 minute pedicure (usually an hour) is streaked, my nails were not clipped and the technician spoke to the one beside her the entire time, not paying any attention to what she was doing. Just moved to Greenville and went here based on reviews. First time here and last time here. The color selection is poor and the bottles of polish that they do have are raggedy. I wanted a French white on white pedicure and usually use Waltz by Etsy but I forgot my bottle. At any rate -they said they can't do French without using gel polish. The nail tech consulted with another nail tech because she didn't understand what I wanted and the other nail tech confirmed - can only do white tips with a clear base if using regular polish otherwise have to use gel polish. Further, I didn't notice till I was almost done that it doesn't appear that they put their instruments in Barbacide or sterilize between use. The girl who did my pedicure wiped off the nippers with the towel she used for my pedicure and went to next customer. When I went to sit at the drying bar, there was a big jar of Barbacide with no instruments in it - and no one ever came to put any instruments in or take any of the Barbacide out. The jar was clearly marked "Barbacide". I saw no Barbacide at any of the nail tech stations or at the pedicure stations. Beware! I sure won't be back. read more

However, after I was seated, I waited over and hour for someone to come over and help me, and then the nail technicians kept getting up and going to different jobs. Very inconsistent. Total time spent here was 2 1/2 hours. They were busy but it was ridiculous how long I had to wait. They recognized it however and I received a small discount. read more

Everybody was friendly and all. The first time I went, nearly all of my nails popped off within a week. I thought maybe it was just me. So I went back for a fill in and not even a week later, all but two of my nails are gone. I should have gotten the hint when the nail glue wouldn't hold the nails when she was putting them on. Of all the salons I've been to, Polished in Greenville is my favorite. I go for regular manicures and pedicures, and the results are always perfect. They don't water down their polishes (I can't stand it when salons do that) and they don't make you wash your hands yourself. The employees are always friendly and patient, and they do a lovely job. They use nice, thick lotions, too! Having HGTV on the flatscreen to watch is a nice plus. I always enjoy a visit to Polished! read more
