    Sugar cane juice
    Sho R.

I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

    Chicken pad see ew

This place is located inside of the Global Market food court and it's definitely a great bang for your buck! About $13 after tax and everything for the chicken pad see ew and when I visited they had a promotion going on for 3 free wings with entree purchase. This portion is a lot more filling and bigger than it looks in the photo, lasted me two meals and I was stuffed both times! As for the actual quality of food, it's about what you expect from a grocery store food court... the noodles came a little stuck together (you can tell when you peel them apart and the inside is still white instead of coated in the sauce) so they're a little different texture (kind of doughier?) than other pad see ew I've had, but not the worst I've had by far and it's something I got used to. The chicken is different from how most places do pad see ew as well, instead of just chicken slices sauteed with the same sauce as everything else, I think the chicken is separately marinated before and maybe even cooked separately too. It's a different texture than I was used to in pad see ew. Not bad thought but not what I was expecting. The chicken wings however were very good!!! I can't explain the flavor because I honestly don't really know what it is, just kind of typical chinese buffet or takeout asian restaurant style fried chicken wings. Crispy outside and they come nice and hot. It wasn't busy when I went and the worker was nice to me at the counter even though I'm sure he was bored of just waiting there with nothing to do haha! Fast service as you would expect too. If I rated on taste alone, maybe a 3.5? But considering the portion for the price and quickness of serving I ended up rating 4! Would recommend stopping by this place if you're hungry after shopping.

Good service as always. Their food is delicious as always. Simple and just like any Asian home meals or back home food.

We got our food delivered to the hotel we were staying at in a reasonable time. It was my first Poké bowl. It was absolutely delicious!

One of the better stalls inside the Global Market Food hall. I will keep coming back!

5 stars because these sandwiches were stellar…read more I had the classic 2.0 with the addition of sweet pickled peppers and my SO had the turkey sandwich and we loved them both. The turkey was a hot sandwich while the classic was a cold. The location itself is small, feels like a hole in the wall bar with great cozy vibes. We were lucky enough to bike over on a nice day and so we sat in the outdoor space which is also small but got the job done before we were back on our bikes with happy bellies. We will definitely be revisiting so we can try more of the menu!

But if you were open to just having a nice casual dinner in a retro easy place, this is it. My fiance and I went to meet up with some friends from out of town and from a list of places I wanted to try, they chose this one. Between the two of us, we spent about $60 for this meal, which I suppose now adays is on par with what you can get away with. We also left with half a sandwich because honestly, these guys are huge! -Hot Beef Sando with Cheese (extra): this was a massive sandwich, packed with flavor. The ah jus was on the side and needed for dunking. It hit the spot, was a messy affair, but was very good. The meat wasn't melt in your mouth, it was actually quite dry, but the mix of everything together and the dip made it good overall. - Chili Cup: well spiced, super small cup and charging a dollar for each addition of onion, cheese, and sour cream is murder. Pass on the fixings, the soup doesn't need it, but it's not something i'd get again as it wasn't knock out of the park good. -Homemade Orange Soda: this was great. I love the nostalgia of using Tang and it was more earthy because they put some spices in it. Overall, would get again. -Coleslaw was asian inspired and made well, especially with the mint on top. Be warned though, its the same slaw on the pulled chicken...which speaking of: -Pulled chicken sandwich: It's their meat americanized fusion version of a banh mi. I know they have a vegan one on their menu, but this one felt less like a sandwich. The spices weren't quite asian tho and was interesting with the slaw. I wouldn't say it was my favorite but I did eat a whole half. Happy nomming!

We were having a work "philly cheesesteak" dinner but needed a good spot to get takeout. We came to Crostini - ordering was super easy and our food was ready and waiting for us upon arrival. Staff was very friendly in our limited interaction. I don't love steak, so I got the philly chicken cheesesteak, and holy moly was this sandwich massive. I could barely even hold it together there was so much chicken going on there!! I ended up keeping all the chicken that naturally fell out of the sandwich as leftovers and put it over rice for a meal the next day. I loved that the sandwich had mushroom and peppers on it, having some veggie interaction made it feel healthy :) Especially considering I got a small french fry with it too (which was actually somewhat large). Ketchup was extra so I went without it and was perfectly happy eating my french fries without condiments. This place definitely still fills a void in the area and I highly recommend checking them out!

The online ordering system is a little clunky but they were able to handle our requests (no tomato). And the ability to see your order status was very nice. Our food was still hot (that should be) when we picked up. The actual restaurant is a little awkward when you get inside. There's a small alcove to the left where you place your order. And you have to ring the bell for service. Everyone was super nice and the place looked vibey from what I could see. Not a ton to say since I just picked up. The food was excellent. The sub sandwich comes rolled kind of like a wrap which I wasn't expecting but didn't impact the flavor of experience. The panini was huge and easily 2 meals. Fries were soooo good. Like stadium quality. And don't skip the nacho cheese if you like a classic cheese fry. Overall I'm sad we haven't tried them sooner!
