I ordered breakfast sandwiches and a cookie treat on-line to pick-up before work at 7:50 am. I arrived after I received the email at 7:54 (late) that my order was ready for pickup. Food wasn't ready - staff couldn't find the order. At least 7 staff in the kitchen that I could see. Limited patrons for inside service so there was no reason to be off schedule. I wanted 28 minutes for my order. I was told "a new process started today". Apparently staff did not know how to implement! There was no sense of rush or pride. Staff needs to be trained how to step up and take some responsibility. The food was awful - threw away my sandwich and the cookies were over baked. We love Panera and we love our sip club membership! We've visited three dozen locations in eight states in the last nine weeks on our road trip. We ordered in the app and grabbed our cups when we walked in.. then proceeded to fill them with caffeinated deliciousness. This location was super busy when we arrived and super dirty, there was dirty dishes piled high on every bus station both inside and outside (see picture). The few tables that were empty were dirty. This place needs help. The service is terrible. The wait to get your order is way too long especially for a place that isn't busy. I've waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for a bagel toasted with cream cheese on the side with no other cars in the drive thru. Once I was given my food, there was no acknowledgment of me having to wait so long for one item. On top of waiting forever, you would think the team would be a little nicer to the guest... Updated review since the store moved 200ft to a new location. Much better store. There is more seating and parking which is great. Still the same problem though. Sitting here typing the review there are over 12 tables, most that can seat 4 people with solo workers and laptops. Its also a little noisy with a few business meetings in progress and people in Teams and Zoom calls. My conclusion is to avoid weekdays. At least with the new building there were a few open seats available. They have also installed a new disabled parking area. The food tasted great and fresh. I had the chicken bacon rancher which was awesome. I rated this a now with the improvements. So we got an absolute list of issues. My favorite? They have child locks on their internet. I had to connect to my hotspot to listen to my true crime podcasts. The girls at the window love to mean girl me. If I wanted to be apart of it, I'd watch the movie. They often forget utensils. You would think I did something wrong to deserve these things. Pretty good place! The Mac and Cheese was as expected, amazing. I love their Chicken Caesar salad was great as well. The tables are kept clean as well as their floors too. It seems like they are pretty organized when it comes to keeping things sanitized. This is the second time I've come here and it hasn't disappointed. Giving a 4 star because all Paneras are quite similar so there isn't anything unique about them. All in all, the staff is friendly and I would come here again. read more

I honestly never thought I would give a review that was just 1 star. And it's very unfortunate because I frequent Panera's all over the state and I'm grabbing a cup of coffee from a place like this once or twice a day. I honestly was going to get a coffee and and a breakfast sandwich or bagel but even though I was the only person at the counter I had to wait so long for someone to take my order I just got coffee as they were too busy moving things around in the desert case. I wondered why at 8am the place was empty but after seeing all the other poor reviews it makes sense that people are going elsewhere. Once I paid the rude person who was behind the counter I went to get my coffee and the urn was empty, so I informed the rude woman at the register and she went in back and then came out and said that were going to brew it and it would take about 5 minutes. This isn't the first time that I've run into an empty urn but there is normally another one ready to go at that hour. I have no issues with places that are short staffed but I can't excuse a building that just isn't friendly. All told it took about 15 min to get a cup of coffee. I normally would have used the drive thru but it was closed. Sad news is that I went for another cup of coffee later that day and would have gone back there but went elsewhere instead. read more

This Panera lacks customer service and any sense of urgency. I certainly do not expect the quickness of a fast food experience, but every single time it takes over 10 mins to get food. I have been there multiple times in the morning ordering 1 sandwich with no other orders coming out it still seems to take 10-12 mins. understandably the pricing for the chain have went up, but this location does not provide the experience to make it worth it at those pricing. with Zupa now open, I am eager to give them a try. Multiple times I have had errors with my order. I would rather have an incorrect order than to return to the restaurant because it will take way to long for a simple fix. I am not saying this with any malice. I worked for Panera just a few years ago when I was in college. They got our order wrong twice, we were overcharged, and the sandwiches were seriously just thrown together. Never never again. I arrived at Panera on East Spring Drive at 3:50 on Saturday 9-17, only to find that was closing at 4:00. I asked what was going on only to get 3 totally different answers. I wanted an iced tea, and one loaf French baguette and one of the workers said yeah, just go help yourself. I told them I had bought one 2 days prior to that and both my husband and grandson both got sick from it and the worker was like oh well. the trip prior to this one I had ordered 2 salads, I was charged full price and half of the ingredients were missing, I brought it to their attention and they told me they out of product, so I asked for my money back, and the young fellow told me he could not do that because there was no there who had the capability to return money. I think it's time to cancel my sip-club membership and a new place to eat. read more

They built new location. While parking lot is easier to get in to than the old locations across the street (Meaning traffic, not getting hit by customers leaving the lot, not actual accessibility), not liking the new store. A couple reasons. 1: Large empty wide open space, makes the restaurant echoey. 2: Dull bluish lighting in the restaurant makes it feel more like a middle school cafeteria than a "cafe" or "bread store". Lighting also made the food and bakery on display look dull and unappealing. 3: flies all over sampling the bakery, which is kept uncovered on display. They seemed to really enjoy the ?spinach soufflé?. I would not order any kind of bread on display. 4: Need to cross drive-through lane to get in. People driving through the drive through lane don't care if you are in the cross walk or not and nearly get hit every time as they come speeding through. 5: Terrible parking lot setup. 6: Entrance and exit of the parking lot is too steep, need to take it at an angle to avoid bottoming out my (not low clearance) vehicle. 7: Clerk at the register completely clueless. Ordered large ice tea, get handed a small paper cup. I ask, "shouldn't I get a large Plastic Cup". Clerk: "We don't have plastic cups at this location". Really? as I look around at other customers with plastic cups sitting in the cafeteria... 8: SINGLE clerk at registers more concerned about signing people up for "MyPanera Rewards" than taking the orders of the ~20 people standing in line... (Line from register to the entrance). 8: Attempted Kiosk this visit, however, the Kiosk would not load past the drink selection page. 9: When the outside door is opened by someone entering or leaving, the cafeteria becomes a wind tunnel. All in all, this was a botched move. The old location, while not perfect, was AT LEAST FUNCTIONAL. While I don't expect anything to be done, just going to voice my frustration. I'm sure they will stay busy enough to stay open, but this is an A+ Demonstration on how to lose business. read more
