Well, any self-respecting yankee knows a bagel place should either have: 1) prices in different colors written on a black board, or 2) prices with the numbers and letters that can be changed on a board. Anyway they deserve credit since the founder mentions Hot Bagels in Fairlawn in his story and met with Jaques Pepin who is awesome. They also make sandwiches from their deli meats which I have not tried. Their meat counter is well stocked with excellent cuts of steak, pork and chicken that you cannot get at most grocery stores and the prices reflect that quality. They also have some groceries and items you might find at many convenience stores. It is great to have this resource just down the road from us.
