Regular Bowl. Spicy tuna ,tuna & salmon $20
    Big J.

Service and ambience was great. The tuna was dry. Lacked flavor. Hey i might of just went on a bad day. But for $20 3 protein bowl. Wasn't anything to brag about. Will I go back.? Not anytime soon.

Poking one n half is a pretty quick Chipotle style poke place with fast service and consistency. They always fill their bowls to the top and the toppings are great. The seating area is pretty large but can get messy from previous guest. The staff are pretty helpful and can help clean an area if needed. I wouldn't say this is top sushi grade poke but a food decent price for a well balance meal and food.

BEST poke ever!!! I absolutely loved my experience at poki one n half! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and well presented. As an indecisive eater that likes to try everything, I especially appreciated the variety of toppings and sauces. There is a large selection of bottled drinks as well as a soda fountain. They even have ice cream macarons for dessert! The food quality and experience was fantastic. The portions were generous. I really liked the brown rice and quinoa, salmon, Cali mix, imitation crab meat, seaweed salad, edamame, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. Everything paired together for the perfect burst of flavor. I only ordered a small bowl and it was very filling. Raphael was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions with a great sense of humor. His work ethic really shines through his spectacular customer service. Thank you so much!! Overall, the entire process was quick and easy. The store is kept very clean with lots of tables available. The parking is free in the plaza. This spot is absolutely a must try. Can't wait to come back and try a different combo!

Mango juice was refreshing and fairly priced!

The food was so fresh and the guys behind the counter were excellent! I hadn't been in years and they were very helpful. This is the perfect lunch date spot. Plenty of seating and tons of selection. New favorite for sure!

Poki One N Half serves up some of the most delicious create-your-own poke bowls with the highest quality ingredients and most importantly, fresh fish with options like ahi tuna, salmon, and shrimp, plus they also have vegan items such as tofu and chickpeas. With locations all over San Diego, including Clairemont, SDSU, La Jolla, Kearny Mesa, North Park, Chula Vista, and Fashion Valley, you can make Poke One N Half a regular go-to like we have. Follow @allthingsfoodwithjandm (IG) for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, food experiences, kid friendly spots, with a sprinkling of home-cooking!

This place is so cute inside and clean! The service was fast and polite! The food was great. You get such a good portion for what you pay. I got the small bowl and it was actually so huge! I couldn't finish it but it's defiantly worth your dollar. Will be back when craving Poki!

Today's lunch was brought to you by poki one n half. I personally was not a fan. The service was not the friendliest and felt like they rushed me out. I didn't get to create a very good bowl. It was dry and for the first time ever I thought my bowl was a little fishy. Ahi tuna has never been fishy to me so I was disappointed. It was not cheap and I feel my lunch was not the best today. If your gonna pay this much for a bowl take your time and get every detail you want.

Poki One N Half is literally the only place left that serves fresh ingredients, very good portion, at a reasonable price! This is my go to poke spot for years now. They've remained consistent in their serving size/options offered/price. This place at this location is particularly big and always clean. Did I mention they serve avocado here at NO extra charge?? Every staff I've encountered has always been excellent and not stingy with their servings. 10/10 recommend.

Friendly service, lots of seating compared to other locations and good music. Lol While there are other restaurants and establishments in the same area, I never found parking to be diffi, unlike a neighboring location of this business. Food quality is always consistent and I feel like they are a little more generous in their portions here. Tables are always clean as well.

My fiance and I visited this location on our Wednesdate! We've gone to different Poki One N Half spots before but this one was amazing! Our bowls were delicious! The service was quick and it location itself was pretty empty for a Wednesday night! Overall, would come again!

Pretty solid poke place! The food is fresh, and you can customize your bowl to your liking. The price is pretty high compared to other places, but the portions are huge!

    Devoured. No crumb left behind.

Food & Service : My husband and I ordered large 4 protein bowls and bless the angels working behind the counter. I have numerous allergies including a gluten allergy and I told the Saint of an employee he was very knowledgeable about which foods contained gluten& or my other allergies & ensured safety protocols to make sure no cross contamination occurred. He also went and got gluten free soy sauce for me. Whilst waiting the sweet young lady of a saint ensured she place gluten free soy sauce packets to go for me. It was our first time ordering so I tend to get anxious and stall on indecisiveness but they were so patient and walked us thru the process it's basically the same concept of the chipotle place for a poki bowl. Ambiance: the place was immaculate, the restrooms were clean. The staff were neat organized and a+ for presentation. The food was beyond delicious it was devoured. Most definitely going to make certain I visit this establishment when I go down to San Diego again.

You can tell when people actually care about the guest experience, and they absolutely do. Nate deserves a special shoutout for creating a Thai chili ginger soy sauce that genuinely blew my mind. I'm not exaggerating -- the balance of heat, sweetness, and umami was unreal. One of those flavors that makes you pause mid-bite and go, wow. It elevated everything it touched and is still living rent-free in my head. Dominic was equally incredible -- seamless service, great energy, and made the entire experience feel effortless and welcoming. Together, they made what could've been a normal meal into something truly memorable. If you're lucky enough to be taken care of by Dominic and Nate, you're in for an exceptional experience. This is the kind of service (and flavor) that keeps you coming back.

Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. I placed my order online four hours in advance because I have a long drive back home to Julian and just wanted to pick it up and go. When I arrived, there was no greeting from staff, no clear pickup line, and no acknowledgment of customers waiting. The staff seemed to have tunnel vision, only focusing on what was directly in front of them while ignoring everyone else. After standing there for quite a while, I finally had to ask about my order. Instead of it being ready like it should have been, they hadn't even started making it. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes in line for something that was ordered hours earlier. What made it worse was when the mistake became obvious, no one apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience. The staff acted like it was no big deal and showed zero professionalism or accountability. I don't come into the city often, but when I do I like to try new places. Sadly, this experience was disappointing and the customer service was extremely poor. I would honestly say save your time and money and go somewhere that actually values their customers--especially in this economy. Time is money, and money is time. If a restaurant doesn't respect your time, they're definitely not going to respect your money. As for the food, it was very basic and lacked flavor. They were also very stingy with the sauce, which made the bowl even more dry and underwhelming. Overall, between the poor service, long wait despite ordering hours ahead, lack of accountability from staff, and mediocre food, this place was a big disappointment. I will not be coming back. There are plenty of better places that actually value their customers. Thank you and have a nice day.

There was still a significant line, but when we finally got to the front, the waitress taking our order wouldn't even look at us. She spent a good portion of our "turn" chatting with another waitress before finally turning to us--still with zero eye contact. We ordered a cioppino, a clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. I noticed she shouted the soup orders back to the kitchen but didn't say a word about the fish and chips. When I specifically asked her if she got the fish and chips, she said "yes," took my card, and sent us to a table. Our soups and oysters arrived after 15 minutes, but another 30 minutes passed with no sign of the rest of the meal. When I followed up with the same waitress to check on the status, she looked at the order and flatly told me there were no fish and chips on there. By that point, the restaurant was already closing. She asked if I still wanted them, but after waiting that long and dealing with that level of indifference, I just said no. Extremely disappointing experience. If you're going to stay open for customers, you should at least provide basic communication and hospitality. I won't be coming back.

Located in Gaslamp, street parking is your best bet. For most spots, you have to pay metered parking until 10 p.m. I was able to find an exception to the rule around 8:30 p.m. Ambiance (3/5): Werewolf is a pretty laid back bar. Which is right up my alley. This happened to be karaoke night. This may be an unpopular option but I'm not a fan of karaoke. If you are, you're golden. I would've enjoyed the ambiance a bit better on a standard night. We sat at a wooden booth in the back of the restaurant. Service (3/5): You order at the bar (both food and drinks). They were fairly busy on a Wednesday and only two bartenders were working. As a result, service was a bit slow. After placing my order, I closed out. Their cocktail list doesn't list prices. Not a fan of that. I asked the bartender how much some particular cocktails cost, and he didn't go. Not a good look. Drinks (4/5): Werewolf has an interesting list of craft cocktails. Plus a full bar. Just list your cocktail prices on the menu! Food (4.5/5): The food is surprisingly quite good. I went with the wings appetizer (and made them sticky for a dollar extra). Sweet with a little kick. The wings were fried just right with a crispy exterior and juicy inside. Finger-lickin' good! I also couldn't say no to papas balls lol. This appetizer is their version of hushpuppies. Taken to a higher level. Stuffed with mashed tater, bacon, cilantro, cotija, and drizzled with house sauce. Normally, papas balls would scare me, but these are scrumptious. The two appetizers combined were filling for a full meal.

That said, the waitress we had was very kind and attentive, and the food was decent, so we decided to give the place another try. After a long day at Legoland, we returned around 6pm and I had called ahead to make a reservation for four. The person on the phone took my name and number, so I assumed we were all set. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't even full, but no one greeted us for several minutes. Eventually, a waiter came over, and when I mentioned our reservation, he seemed confused and said they don't take reservations for parties under six. I tried to explain that someone had taken my information over the phone, but he interrupted me multiple times and didn't let me finish. He then walked over to another group behind us and asked if they were there first, even though we had arrived before them, which was frustrating. We were eventually told there was space available at the bar seating (bar stools) instead of a table. At that point, we were tired and hungry, so we accepted. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve. The waiter seemed rushed and disorganized--he couldn't remember our order and had to ask us which dish belonged to who when the food came out. As for the food, it was okay but not memorable. My ramen was just average--the pork was dry and the egg was overcooked. Overall, the food is decent, but the service really needs improvement. This particular waiter clearly needs more training, or possibly a different role, as the level of service did not meet basic expectations for a restaurant. Our second visit left a bad impression, especially since it was our last night in San Diego. Sadly, we won't be coming back.
