Got a regular size build your own poke bowl. Ingredients seemed fresh and a good variety of toppings. Sauces had good flavor to pull everything together. Prices are fair and on par. They have a nice little seating area right outside. Service was fine, not the friendliest worker but ya know - it's just a job for them.
This place is terrific! It is fairly priced for Coronado. And it is one of the best poke bowl I've ever had. They have a big choice of proteins, including different kinds of salmon and different kinds of ahi. They also have their own marinated ahi and salmon. They have a great choice of vegetables, including beets and a cubed Japanese vegetable. I got half of my base salad mix and the other half brown rice. This was so filling that I should just have gotten salad mix. With the medium bowl, that starts at $16, you get three different choices of proteins and then unlimited toppings. There are a few toppings that cost extra, like two dollars for a huge scoop of mash avocado. I have a big appetite, and I could not finish this bowl! Very tasty and absolutely worth visiting on Orange Avenue. They don't have the fanciest patio on the block, but you can eat something healthy and delicious outside. Very glad I came here!
It was pretty hot out this week and I was craving something cool and Poke was a no-brainer. It's a small joint, but perfect for takeout or delivery. 3-4 tables outdoors. The staff was super friendly and walked me through the options, throwing in some great recommendations when I asked. Its very similar to most Poke shop, nothing too crazy however they charge you extra for a lot of things. I got the regular (which is supposedly their "small"), it was massive! Price is on the higher end but that is Coronado beach side for you. Tons of topping choices, and the best part? You can load up on as many toppings as you want. Parking can be tough during peak hours - don't be afraid to park residential a block away and have a nice walk. Coronado is one of the safest little towns in San Diego!
On the way to beach, we stopped to grab poke bowl today and they have specials on Weekday depending on which day you come. The variety of fish were good and they have plenty of toppings. The bowl is HUGE! Our server was really nice too. They have few outdoor settings if you want but we took ours to the beach and ate there. 5/5 for kind service, quality of food, and price.
Found this place on Coronado Island because I wanted a true Sushi burrito with seaweed wrapper, not a flour tortilla wrapper like some places. It's called Norrito here. They even have Dole whip. They place is small and modern but they have outdoor seating only. The staff are helpful and friendly. They have a very good selection of proteins even grilled chicken, can you believe that? I like that they have a mixed ahi flavor. We custom made ours. They have a machine that pre-makes their seaweed rice wrapper. My son custom made his poke bowl. I also liked that they had roasted garlic as well as onions. Prices are very decent. Would definitely come back here again. [60R,2023]

I was the only one in there when I went. I got the waves & wanted to try all 3. The worker was super sweet & helpful since it was my first time. It's a bit more on the pricey side so just know that prior to coming. The food was super good & very fresh. I got a side of the cucumber seaweed salad as well & it was delicious! I'd definitely go back to try some of the other items!
Surprised by this poke shop.. The ahi and salmon were fresh. The albacore tasted a bit fishy. They did not mix the sauce with the fish, instead the sauce was just drizzled over - I did not mind it though. The toppings are normal, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado (+$2). The jalapenos are a mix of green and red, I realllly like their jalapenos. Oh and they have mango salsa! The prices are representative of the area but I felt the serving size I got was satisfactory. The employee who helped me worked with a sense of urgency, was attentive and polite. The inside is nice and clean. There is also outside seating.
Honestly, the curtness of one of the employees really rubbed me the wrong way. Basically demanded that my wife stop leaning on the glass, that's fair. Then immediately instructed her to move down toward the register if she wasn't ordering food. Again, not terrible, but perhaps smile and make us feel like you actually care about our business. Solid place for Boba tea, but kindness and customer appreciation goes along way with me. Was not feeling that here so will not be back.
Zero consistency between employees. Guy A makes a bowl: literally picked out pieces of onions one at a time to give us no more than 6 little slices. Would scoop things then shake the scoop to make half of it fall out before adding to the bowl. Took so long to make a bowl that by the time we got to the register there was a line behind us. Guy B: scooped as normal, and caught up to Guy A at the register. Bowls should have been identical, other than sauces chosen. Bowl A was literally half the size as Bowl B. Irritating, to say the least. Guy A also made a single Cali roll for another in our party and took no less than 10 mins to do so.
Super fresh and tasty. Lots of toppings and sauces to choose from. So good that we went twice during my stay on Coronado!
Staff was friendly and poke was fresh. Each scoop contains about 2.5oz of meat, so this was a great option for someone who is trying to be more health conscious and track their macros. They have lots of yummy sauces and toppings to add on. I split my base between brown rice and salad, added on a scoop of plain ahi and a scoop of spicy tuna, topped with veggies, and bam - a delicious healthy dinner. It's within a 10 minute walk to the beach so we grabbed dinner and caught the sunset. What a perfect way to end a weekend.
I moved away from California a couple of years ago, and so finding Poke is a treat now. I was so excited to try this place. I am not sure where there are not more recent reviews. The place was pretty popular with a constant line when we were ordering. The servers were very nice and efficient. The place was small, but we were still able to find a place to sit. I recommend this place if you are on Coronado island. Hopefully a new review will boost their popularity!
Being that this place is located on Orange Ave, a stone's throw from Hotel Del, I had my doubts and expected Poke 123 to be a touristy, brightly colored but ultimately lackluster experience. Not the case. Like every other poke joint, you get charged by the number of proteins you choose. The size, which is a term I'm using very loosely here, is pretty irrelevant because I ordered a medium (3 proteins) and they not only used the same size bowl that they would for a large but stacked all the goodies up so high that getting the lid fastened could've been a future Olympic sport. If you think going smaller means less, you're system of measurement is no good here, friend. They do charge extra for avo ($1.50) but offer up some fixings that other places don't, such as macadamia nuts, Japanese beets, kale slaw, and a couple pre-marinated fish options in addition to the raw options. Bonus points: they also serve alcohol (beer, wine, seltzer, sake) and make Dole Whips and boba. Super fresh, super clean and super tasty. Whether tourist or local, give Poke 123 a whirl for all your giant, healing bowl of uncooked sea creature needs.
The poke here is seriously so good, some of the best I've ever had; Super fresh, great toppings, and everything just tasted really clean and flavorful. It's in a great spot too, and there's a nice front patio area off the sidewalk that's perfect for hanging out while you eat. Only thing that threw it off a little was the vibe from the person working-he didn't seem overly excited to be there, but hey, we all have off days. Definitely will be visiting this joint again read more
Really good!! I ordered a large poke bowl and it came with plenty of fish, all super fresh and the quality was great. Their shrimp in particular are a lot better than other places'. The only reason I'm removing a star is that their prices are on the high side plus they charge extra for toppings like seaweed salad that typically are free. read more
This is my go to lunch spot in the island. The place is clean, the employees are nice and they greet you when you come in. I usually get the medium bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. I do not get any add on like seaweed salad or imitation crab because I feel like the edamame and cucumbers added to my bowl plus the rice is already filling. I suggested giving this place a try. It is worth your bucks. read more

Came here after beach day! Parking is only street parking but since it's located on the main street of Coronado, it's going to be hard to find a spot. they have outdoor seating that's pet friendly. I ordered build you own and got spicy tuna and octopus. I'm deducting a star for octopus and spicy tuna because it was very salty. I really needed more rice in my bowl to balance out the saltiness. However, the portion they have given me for my bowl was huge! I barley finished it all. Overall, there's a good selection of poke bowl you can make here and a lot of topping are free and portions are large. read more
Stopped by this place on Coronado Island and it was a nice spot to grab some boba tea. I got the passionfruit green tea with regular boba and it was pretty good. The tea itself tasted really good and it was perfect for a hot day in the sun. The only issue with the place was that the boba straws that they give are not big enough for the regular boba and often get jammed. I noticed that myself and a few others finished our drinks but much of the boba remained. If they are able to fix this issue then it is definitely worth stopping by! read more
Poke' 123 is a small business in Coronado! It is in a great location, surrounded by many cute boutiques, shops, and dessert places. It is also about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. I ordered a poke bowl to go and took it to the beach! The fish was fresh; however, I have been to other poke places that are more generous with their protein scoops. Overall, there was a wide variety of toppings, sauces, and other desserts (dole whip, boba) that Poke 123 has to offer. The only suggestion I would say is to ask for light sauce. Unlike other poke places, the sauce is poured directly into the bowl rather than a separate bowl where the sauce is mixed with the protein choice. Because of this, my poke had a lot of sauce, the bottom collected all the sauce and it masked a lot of the other good flavors in the poke bowl. read more

Poke' 123 is fast casual that did not disappoint. It's on Orange so it's easy to walk to if you're in the area. Street parking can be tricky to find if you're driving here. Medium poke bowl (3 scoops) for $14.25. There are other options but the poke bowls were what we ended up ordering. You can order ahead through the website too. There is a small patio out front with limited seating. Poke 123 is perfect to pick up on the way to the beach. I like that they are locally owned and support local schools too. read more

poke was pretty fire, a BYO with 3 proteins ended up being around $18. seaweed is an extra $0.50 and avocado extra $2.00 so i didn't get it. the male employee with a brown bun, looks about 22-24, was rude with me. a bad day isn't an excuse to be rude. don't expect customers to know everything that you do. if you don't want to work here just quit read more
Poke wasn't too bad. Paid around 16.00 for a bowl with two proteins. The tuna tasted frozen with not much flavor and the rice was a little stale. Salmon was fresh. I liked the sauces (eel sauce and spicy Mayo were good together!) and the generous portions of toppings. Veggies were crisp. They offer a variety of things to put on there - 1.00 extra for imitation crab, however. Seating is outside only. Not a bad place to go if you want a quick fresh bite, but not the best poke place I've been to either. read more

Delicious!! If you haven't tried this place and your near take the time to stop by we came across it just walking around and so glad we decided to eat here. Coming in its very small inside but they did have tables to eat outside. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions we got the bowls portions were perfect. I ordered white rice and the 123 ahi tuna and all theses yummy toppings with a spicy sauce and an eel sauce ,the fish tasted so fresh perfect on the warm sunny day. We also ordered some teas which were great also thank you for the great first time experience we'll definitely be back on another trip . read more

A delicious poke bowl - the employee working was super generous with our servings. And they have fantastic daily deals. We went on a Tuesday and got a free scoop of seaweed salad, spicy krab AND mango/pineapple slaw. We will definitely grab this every time we are in the area. read more

Love this place! Came here while I was visiting SD and stumbled upon this cute poke place on Coronado. While tryin to kill time before our flight we were on Coronado and craving somethin fresh. We found this place on Yelp and thought let's check it out. It's awesome! I got the poke bowl with the spicy mayo and it was really refreshing. Now I wish I lived closer to frequent this place a little more. Definitely a place to check out! read more

Loved it so much I came 2 days in a row employees were kind and helpful in letting me try the different ahi and this place didn't disappoint one bit . Only down side is it's Coronado.. and parking is hard to come by but this place is worth the walk if you have to. read more
