Our go to place to satisfy our cravings for salmon that doesn't break the bank. It's a huge plus that they don't charge extra for avocado like other poke places. They have a ton of variety and the service is quick and efficient. The restaurant is usually very clean.

Finished swim comp and boy we were hungry. Got a large bowl (devoured it all). You get 4 choices: i got salmon tuna krab and octopus. Get a mochi icecream too they got mango and matcha, both delicious

This is my go-to Poki spot. This Poki One N Half is always quick to fill your order and the fish is fresh. They are always generous with the portions as well. They asked me this last time if I wanted extra garlic (which I always go for) and gave me a ton. The staff is friendly too.

Once again, Poki One N Half In Eastlake did not disappoint. The Poke bowl I ordered was delicious and seafood was very fresh. I added the following to my bowl: - Half white rice and half mixed salad -Double spicy tuna -Salmon -Regular tuna For toppings & sauce I added the following: -Edamame -Seaweed salad -avocado -cilantro -Crab salad -Dried French onions and seaweed flakes -Sesame seeds -Spicy mayo and house sauce. The service was great and restaurant was clean. Give this place a try! Happy Yelping :)

Poki One N Half is a solid place to grab a bowl of poke. Fresh and a good selection of toppings. My family really enjoyed the bowls they ordered. Atmosphere is clean and modern. The service was friendly and the servers were very attentive. What more do you need for a good dining experience?

Not too far from hotel so made a visit after I found on Yelp. Small place with a few chairs and tables for eating in. The ambiance was bright and inviting. I got the regular bowl that gets you 3 protein (2 salmon, 1 shrimp) with original sauce. I did 1/2 rice and 1/2 mixed greens. Wish I just did Greens. The fish was fresh and sauce was tasty. There is a lot of added ons with avocado not an extra charge, I think. My only gripe was the white rice. It was clumpy almost like mochi. Not sure if they packed it down when putting in bowl?

Small half n half brown rice/greens, octopus, spicy tuna bowl with everything.

Clean restaurant. Service is amazing! They give you a ton of toppings, not stingy at all. And it's the best, most filling bowl of food. Pricey, but totally worth it. Think of it as a deconstructed roll of sushi...but in a bowl. Brought my daughter in here for the first time, and now she's a fan.

Poki One N Half is a pretty good name if your mentioning the amount of stars this "restaraunt" deserves. The service is atrocious at best. The employee manning the bowl station dropped my bowl into the rice and messed up my order twice. All that on top of expensive prices for mediocre portions of food. 18 bucks for a scoop of octopus? What the f**k are we doing rationing? Anyway, overall the restaraunt is the epítome of generic, low quality-trendy restaraunts. Plus if there's a guy with anime pins on his hat god forbid you get him because he's got bricks for hands and is probably gonna drop your food on the ground. Overall if I could give this 1.25 stars I would, but Yelp is asz, like this restaraunt.

I had to take the time to write a review because every single time I come here this guy crushes it and he does such a good job. Ask for Gilbert the food here is really good. I honestly love this pokey spot and I'm pretty stoked that they have it close to my house

I usually get the macho sauce on the side so I can spice it up to my level lol. My family has also tried the tuna tostada, micheladas, chilaquiles, and even Dino nuggets for the kids, everything has been consistently great every time we go. The service is always on point, the ambiance is nice, and it's in a great central location. We usually stop by Wood Market afterward to grab a few things. Highly recommend! definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to. Also, shoutout to the Convoy location, it's just as good!

Even though we were a bit late for the breakfast menu, they still let us order the Smoked fish, Gobernador, and Pork Belly-quiles. I loved the flavors, and it had just the right amount of spice I prefer. I also had a Mango-rita that snuck up on me in a good way. We each tried all three plates, and all agreed they were sumptuous. Everyone running the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating to special diet needs as well. I'm glad we tried this establishment. It was quite busy that day, but there was still plenty of parking, and they had booths to sit and enjoy the experience. Portions were large - we all had leftovers to take home. I would love to come back and try more of the menu!

This restaurant exceeded our expectations and recommend trying the following: Appetizers: *Jalapeño Bomb (favorite) *Gyoza Pork *Soft Shell Crab Dinner: Family Combo A (4 items) $65 *2lbs of shrimp *2lbs of crawfish We ordered medium spice level with garlic butter and drizzled a ton of lemons. Their sushi and fish are pretty good quality & one of our favorite things is that happy hour is buy 1 get 1 beer & sake all day lol When we came back to try AYCE seafood we had a few questions about the menu and our server was super patient with all our questions and requests. I genuinely think it's worth the price just because the amount of appetizers that come along with it. There was more than enough food to go around and we didn't even get to 3 rounds of seafood before we got full haha It's a clean restaurant, good service, and in a large plaza. The plaza it's located in can get really busy though because of the TJ Max & Marshals so I would plan accordingly on the weekends. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because although the flavoring in the seafood is delicious.. I think they add way too much butter in the mix that it literally drowns out the seasoning. So what we started doing is digging to the bottom of the bag with a spoon, scooping out some of the seasoning from there and adding it to a sauce cup with some salt & pepper. Then we add the butter from there. The flavor is there, it is.. you just have to dig for it lol other than that our experience was great. We'll be coming back often.

So I don't go as often as I used to as the location on Birch is quite a drive. But Friday the 20th my wife and I decided to make the drive because we had a rare day off together and I was craving. We were seated quickly and the staff was friendly. GG was our server and I asked her about the shrimp burrito in ranchero sauce because I didn't see it on the menu to which I was given the very sad news that they no longer served it. I'm a creature of habit, and I've been coming to this chain since my early 20s and I always get that burrito with rice and beans. Was very disappointed to find it's no longer a menu item, it was literally what made me make the drive from lakeside. Once getting that news I had to actually look at the menu and find something else. I ordered tha carne asada plate and my wife had the Green enchiladas. I also ordered the ceviche tostada. I was a little worried the carne asada might be thin and dry but it was actually a nice thickness and super tender. I had a bite of the enchiladas too, also really good. Another new thing I noticed is that now chips and salsa are not complimentary, sad. But unfortunately not something new to the restaurant scene as of late.

I decided to take my parents out for their 38-year anniversary, and they chose to try the place I've been telling them about Garbatella. My birthday is also the day before their anniversary, so this dinner was meant to be special. We walked in at 5:15 PM after seeing on the website that Happy Hour was from 3:00-5:30 PM. Our reservation was at 5:45 PM, so we wanted to catch the end of HH. We stood there for almost five minutes without being greeted, which in any restaurant for a guest is a long time. When we were finally acknowledged, the server already seemed irritated by our existence. We told her we had a 5:45 PM reservation but wanted to enjoy Happy Hour and asked if we should order at the bar or if we could do it at the table. She completely ignored the question, sat us, and handed us regular menus. When I asked again, she said HH was already over. I mentioned the website says 5:30 PM--and at that point it was only 5:22 PM. She responded that it actually ends at 5:00 PM and that the website is outdated. She then seated us directly between the only two other tables in an otherwise empty restaurant, so there was no sense of space or privacy. Again, if it was a full house totally understand but it was practically vacant. Trying to laugh past it, we ordered drinks and bread. The bread came out before the drinks--which is a restaurant SIN. When I tried to order the Pappardelle Rione (a dish I've ordered here many times and is still listed online), she told me they no longer have it and again said the website is old. I asked if there was anything similar or if the kitchen could make something close, and she pointed me to roast beef with mashed potatoes... after I had clearly said I wanted pasta. She rushed through taking the rest of our order, and I already felt like an inconvenience. Mind you, there were only three tables in the entire restaurant. She could have tried to meet me in the middle on an item but acted as if she had no time to deal with my order or make any suggestions per my requests. Two minutes after ordering, I decided to switch to the bolognese with burrata--just to stick with pasta like I originally wanted. She told me they had already started my dish and that changing it would be an additional charge. At that point, with the inconsistencies in HH timing, outdated website menu, seating, and overall attitude, I just said to add it to the bill. Since we all know she wanted to rack it up at that point or to shut me up basically. I've worked in the industry for some time now and not ignorant to servers antics. Both of my entrees came out. The meatballs were likely microwaved, the burrata was missing, and the roast beef with mashed potatoes was nothing special. Couldn't be that fresh if it came out that quickly is all I'm saying. My Coke was empty by the time the food arrived, and she never once offered a refill. Eventually, my mom had to flag down another younger server to get drinks. When our original server finally came back, we ordered tiramisu. My refill came barely before dessert was dropped. She then completely disappeared to chat with another table. No acknowledgment of our celebration, no dessert gesture for my parents' anniversary -- NOTHING. I actually had to get up from the table to find her so I could pay. She seemed uncomfortable when she realized I was the one paying--and tipping. I typically tip 20-30%, but this was the first time I've ever left 10%. She didn't even provide me with a copy of the receipt after saying she would. I have never felt more brushed off by a server in my life. Didn't get her name. She was older, dark hair, heavy eyeliner, and cold unwelcoming demeanor. What happened to good customer service? Don't know if it was our race, my age (much younger), or if we just caught her on a bad day. Either way would not recommend due to the inconsistencies of the times, menus, and service. Based off of the other reviews it looks like they pick and choose who to give it to. Especially the demographics... VERY interesting and disheartening.
