Poke Bowl for 2 Proteins with spicy salmon and tuna
    Isaac M.

Pros: Everything tasted fresh and it was a solid portion size. They give the sauces you pick on the side so you can choose how much to apply, which is great. The flavors I chose worked well together, but if you are looking for something different than what i got, there are a wide selection of ingredients to choose from. It was crowded at lunch in an area that is packed with lunch options, which is a good sign. Cons: the spicy tuna and spicy salmon are not actually spicy. The only things somewhat spicy were the jalapeno and the sauce I got (lajama). Also, I ordered online and chose a pickup time of an hour later, but my order was ready 3 minutes after I ordered it. So if you're going to order online, be ready to pick up. Overall, I really enjoyed my food and would recommend if you're looking for a healthy and tasty lunch in the Tysons Corner area.

They have a wide variety of delicious toppings and great portion sizes, and the service was great. The toppings and fish tasted fresh at the start of my meal, but my last few bites tatsed funky. Not sure why, because the fish was cold, but some pieces had a strange taste. Because of this, I do not recommend this store. I might try another location of Poki DC, but am afraid of the same outcome. The store itself is cute and they also have a Gong Cha inside, where you can order on the kiosk.

I'm so happy Poki DC is in NoVa! I used to get takeout here when I worked in DC and missed it since going remote. Parking was easier than anticipated at 7p on a Friday night - I scored a parallel parking spot in front of the restaurant. There was no line. My favorite local poke is PokeHub in Reston, but Poki DC has a greater variety of toppings (like mango and pickled daikon) and zucchini noodles. Portion sizes were great! I didn't care for the Miso soup (too salty), but I can't wait to return! This might be my new go to!

Delicious poke with lots of fresh options. We really enjoyed our experience. The service was fast and very friendly. The girl was very patient with us and explained everything. Nice indoor and outdoor seating area.

The 3rd floor Tysons Corner PokiDC closed; I am guessing they moved to the Boro Tysons? Either way, the only PokiDC in Virginia (yet). YAY!!! Get your lunch and Gong Cha tea all in one place! :) Friendly service and generous serving sizes. I love that they have outdoor seatings available as well as inside. Walk around the Boro to soak up your daily dose of vitamin D!

Delicious Poke bowls loaded with generous toppings! I was skeptical of Poke bowls as a vegetarian without the ahi tuna or seafood. It was a scrumptious hearty Asian salad. Love all the options and wide selection to choose from with the base of greens, rice, and noodles along with protein of choice - poultry, seafood, and tofu, and bevy of toppings, sauces, and crunchies. Great for the pickiest eaters. My Poke bowl of perfection: 1/2 mixed greens and 1/2 zucchini noodles with 2 servings of tofu and a heap of veggies - fresh mango, edamame, carrots, cucumber, corn, seaweed salad, hijiki seaweed with crunchy onion and garlic crisps with soy sauce and a drizzle of yum yum sauce (lived up to its name!) The bowl was full to the brim and perfect way to cool off on a warm day.

Honestly the best poke place in the tysons area. I've been here many times and they never disappoint. Super fast and friendly service. They are pretty generous with the toppings and ingredients are fresh. There's limited parallel parking on the street but there's multiple parking garages for the shopping area. Also, they share a space with Gongcha. No complaints about Gongcha either. Limited seating for indoor and outdoor. I'd say best for take out. Highly recommend this place and would come again.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The place is shared by Gong Cha, where you can get boba tea! The poke bowls here are generously sized and delicious! There are many different options to choose from for your base, toppings, protein, and sauces. I got a brown rice bowl with salmon, tamako egg, and a whole bunch of toppings. Everything was fresh and tasty!

I was visiting and found this place. Very friendly staff. The poke bowl was build your own and I choose tuna and salmon with varying assortment. I would come back if I lived in the area.

I like it's a combined place of poke and bubble tea which makes delivery convenient and a bit cheaper. Ordered 2 protein poke bowl, passion fruit tea and grapefruit yogult. Fish and crab salad weren't too fresh. Gong Cha was good.

First time at this location in the Boro Tysons. It was delicious and staff was super friendly. I ordered the shrimp tempura danburi bowl. It took about 5 minutes for them to make the shrimp tempura. I was able to add many toppings to my bowl and it was great. All of the toppings were very fresh. It cost $15 for the bowl. This seems a little more expensive than other Poki Bowl places, but it did come with a generous portion!

Outstanding! I'll most definitely be back, though this seems like more of a bubble tea place than a food place since I had to scan the whole menu in order to find the food at the very bottom, but my 3 protein Poke bowl as delicious, as was my milk tea with boba that I have been getting quite a lot lately as I discover how delicious it is! I will be back to try their Donkuri bowls. I love Donkuri too, but felt more like a poke bowl today. Frankly I just like this place from the food, to the friendly staff, to the nice safe setup they have in the restaurant. As a second note, after I got my food and found out my car's battery had died. While waiting for the tow truck, I asked if I could use the bathroom. They had no idea that I had been in 15-20 minutes ago to pick up my food, but they didn't care that I was just coming in to use the restroom. That's a mark of a good business, especially since we are technically still in the middle of a pandemic. I highly recommend a visit here. Especially if you are a bubble tea connoisseur. I'm not and need to become one to decipher their menu. I got a basic black tea with strawberry creme milk and boba. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Finally got to try @gongcha_dmv and it was I've definitely been missing out on this bubble tea place. The flavor was on point and not too sweet. The bubbles were so soft just how I like it. Of course I always top my bubble tea with a milk cap cause I'm extra like that. And it makes the drink more creamy. This location is small but connected to Poke Bowl so you can get both! This is also next to a bunch of other restaurants so you have options for a good time. They have outdoor seating and hand sanitizer next to the cashier. Customer service was friendly also! Check out all the variety of flavors to choose from, I'm sure you'll fall in love. Pictured: *Dirty Brown Sugar Latte w/Pearl *Dirty Brown Sugar Latte w/pearl & Ai Yu Jelly

I put in an order on the app at 11 on the dot and ordered two items- a mix plate, and a katsu/chicken bbq plate. It's now almost an hour in and it's still not done... I am questioning how service can actually operate when it takes this long for two plates to be made. Meanwhile, I've slowly seen a bunch of plates come out for people who ordered in... not quite sure when they ordered, but when I arrived, no one was at the counter for a few minutes and then someone finally came along and saw my order receipt. I will say, while I love the chain, this specific location is unacceptably slow. The bbq mix plate is also almost $30 which is a hard sell, considering it's a lot cheaper currently in places like San Diego... I'm extremely disappointed and I don't like to give negative reviews, but customer service is lacking the check in that could have alleviated my frustration (since I was told the wait would be 15 minutes tops). I wouldn't recommend L&L in Annandale unless they made changes. Service is too slow, there's a lack of communication, and the meals are way too expensive. Again- I hate writing negative reviews, but time is valuable, and a fast casual place should be better equip with adequate staff with honest timelines. I am a believer of second chances, so please make this right.

Only downside is the owners are Gators I think so there's no FSU stuff in the entire place! I always enjoy coming here and having a tasty beverage or two on the patio and listening to some live music while enjoying some grilled shrimp tacos. Food and drinks are just as good in the winter but it's not quite Florida weather so I'm eating inside when it's too cold for flip flops. The margaritas are always enjoyable as is everything else I've ever had to drink. The grilled shrimp tacos are also always just right and they bring the shells and tortillas separately so you can fill the shells yourself make them just how you want them. Do not come expecting a solid seafood dinner. We came here after a nearby event. There was live music in the very sizable back lot area. People were actually up and dancing and having a great time. The vibes were stellar. I don't know if I would be into tbis place in the winter if I had to eat inside because the inside is kind of dingey, but outside in the summer is pretty paradisiacal. I did notice that they were doing karaoke in a weird little side room and it did not seem crowded on a Saturday night so that might be worth checking out. Servers were also all super nice. Pretty sure we entered the wrong way and kind of just let ourselves in through the back lot area and then we had no idea where to go to find a host(ess). So we asked the first server we could find where to go and she went "oh I can seat you" and grabbed two menus. Excellent. She also gave us our choice of wherever. The place is huge. Our assigned server was also nice and really knew the menu, which is not small. The menu had a ton of options including some really interesting tofu options and I had a hard time picking so I got excited. Also very customizable where you can choose your preparation. The beer list was not exactly artisinal...a lot of like...michelob ultra. And they had those island slushy kind of drinks. So at first I was like...this is my new weekend hangout. Then our drinks came. They were small and in little plastic cups. Wuhoh. Then our food came. I should have known it wouldn't be fresh. The price wasa little *too* good. When I asked about the catch of the day it was like four different things. I ended up with a buffalo grouper sandwich (grouper was one of the four things). I have had a fresh buffalo grouper sandwich in Clearwater before and that was in 2019 and I still remember it 7 years later. This buffalo grouper sandwich? Oh no. First of all it was this thin, flat battered fried cutlet thing. The breading absorbed the buffalo sauce so I couldn't taste it very much though they did bring me a lot of Bleu cheese dressing. The fish was bad. I bit into it and it tasted fishy and it was dry. Honestly if I hadn't been super hungry I would have just not eaten it. On top of that, I paid an extra dollar to upgrade from fries to hushpuppies. These were legit hushpuppies, but hushpuppies are small and how many did they bring me? 5. Are you kidding? Again, in Florida these are brought free by the basket. They're literally just fried up balls of corn meal. I think that may have offended me more than the bad fish. My husband went witb BBQ pulled chicken and fries and said both were good. So. Here are my thoughts. Would I come here again in the summer for fun vibes and good service? Yes. Would I set low expectations for my food and drink? Yes. Would I probably just order a softdrink and stick to something simple they can't screw up like a quesadilla and fries? Yeeeeeeeah.
