The restaurant is attached to a store. They don't acknowledge you when you walk in. So I just sat down at the bar, used the QR code to order my drink. It just so happened to be happy hour so I was pretty excited. I ordered the Pityaya daiquiri and as you can see it's not remotely the same. I mentioned it to the server and she didn't seem to care. That drink looked so disgusting. I just left.

Good happy hour deal with all items priced at $8. Loved the mojito, but the food portions at least at the happy hour were very small. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff.

Actually surprised this shop beat my expectations. I think their drinks are reasonably priced and taste better than other competitors at Mosaic. They share space with Bloomies so while their indoor space is a little bit small, they have seating both indoor and outdoor. I stopped by with my cousin for a quick bite and we both got the iced cafe con leche and two empanadas deal. The shop uses cuban coffee so it is unlike other coffees I have tried before. We were afraid the cafe con leche would be too strong but at regular "miami sweet" sugar, the drink was perfectly balanced. Since this drink impressed us so much we are left wondering if their other drinks are just as good. As for the empanadas, we got two bacon, egg, and cheese empanadas. The empanadas came out hot and still steaming. The empanadas are great but the green sauce provided is a must. *Don't forget to put in your phone number for points. After ordering two drinks and two empanadas we have a $5 to spend on our next visit!

I stopped in for a hot beverage after doing some shopping at Bloomies. I got the churro cafe con leche, it was pretty good. Service was pretty fast on a Sunday morning. I also discovered they carried coquito and rum cider. I picked up a bottle of coquito for my parents.

Service: order from QR code. Ambiance: super cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Food: I had the empanadas and they were very good. The pastry was light and crispy. I had the beef and chicken. I prefer beef. It also came with a green dipping sauce. This small restaurant is located across from the Whole Foods in Clarendon. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. I'm glad my friend picked this one since the service was fast and the food and drinks came out pretty quickly.

First off, Colada Shop may be an order by QR code establishment, but the service was really excellent. Two servers, and both were personable and thoughtful. The food was also delicious, and there's a good selection ranging from entrees and sandwiches to a la cart pastries, as with other Colada Shops. This cafe opens into another store, which I wasn't expecting and which means their indoor dining area is a little cramped. I'd definitely come back, though, especially when it's warm enough to enjoy the spacious outdoor seating.

I've been here a bunch of times and it's just kind of uneven. The counter staff is very good and it's always clean. My coffee always comes out perfect. But the kitchen seems a little off some days. Like, today we went and our sandwiches did not have the signature crispness they're supposed to have on the exterior. They were kinda warmed, but the texture of the bread was wrong. Not only that, my husband has a dairy allergy and I was careful to convey that to the person taking our order. It went into the computer because it was there on the screen. But it came out with a bit of cheese in it like they'd made a mistake and tried to take the cheese off. He noticed when he was most of the way through his sandwich and we had to get home in case it caused a reaction. It was pretty busy so I didn't seek a refund or anything, but not treating allergies seriously is a pretty big problem for us. I might still go alone on weekdays when it isn't as busy and hopefully they can be more careful of the quality, but I can't risk bringing my husband here again unfortunately. I'd never tried the plantain chips before though and those were good.

Tucked away in the Mosaic District, this small coffee shop and eatery is worth a try. There is limited seating so the best option is to order and plan to carry out. I opted for a half-sweet cortadito but I honestly think they didn't put any sugar in it because it tasted like it had none. No biggie. For a snack, we had the Havana Ooh La La, which is a tower with 4 empanadas, 4 croquettes, plantain chips, brownie bites, and sides for dipping. You get to pick the empanada and croquette types. It's a lot of fried food, so be warned, but worth a try. The empanadas and croquettes are not as good as what you'd get in South Florida but they're good for Northern Virginia. Next time I stop in at this location or one of their others, I plan to try one of their sandwiches.

Love Love Love! Stopped by during Happy Hour and got an assortment of tasty snacks! Ordered from our table via a QR code. Super easy and quick service! This shop is so underrated! They offer a variety of beverages. Theres truly something for everyone here!

Popped into this cute little shop for coffee and a work call. Ordered drinks to not loiter. I ordered the Cafe Cubano (size comparison picture). I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting such a small drink. Though it was super strong! I waited for the worker behind the counter to acknowledge me. I paced between where he was and the register hoping he'd notice me. Finally, I tapped my credit card on the counter and the noise triggered a response from the drawing he was doing on a piece of receipt paper. I think I would like to return to try the food and/or their happy hour!

FOOD/DRINK: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 I always say that I took granted of the fact that we used to have a Colada Shop in Sterling. Now the Mosaic District one is a special treat. My husband is Cuban so he craves it from time to time. This one is kinda hidden in the Bloomie's and I wish it had more seating. It tends to get filled up with people on their phones. We decided to order an assortment of items for a shared brunch. I got an oatmilk latte with dulce de leche and he got a guava spritzer (which he said tasted like a less sweet Jarrito). Be aware that their coffee is strong! We also ordered - -guava pastelitos -beef empanada -breakfast empanada -media noche sliders -yucca fries -ham croquetas Everything was perfection except the yucca fries - they were a little undercooked/firm. The media noche sliders were a new item and I hope they keep it! This is a wonderful welcome to the sandwich but not having to commit to the full one. The pastelitos (I got just guava, he got guava + cheese) were a little overfilled but the pastry was flaky without being too buttery. The croquetas are a fan favorite as usual. We also had a mix-up where they thought they brought all of the food out, but we were still waiting on the empanadas. But I just asked for them up at the register and they brought them out to us. The empanadas were wonderfully flaky and warm. BIG bonus of being able to order at the table! We will be back again!

I think people are really in love with the idea of there being authentic Cuban food in this area, because this was not anywhere near what real Cuban cafe food tastes like. The Cuban sandwich while big was mostly dry toasted bread with overcooked pork and ham and an inconsistent amount of cheese and pickles. Both the iced Café con Leche, and the Cuban espresso martini were mid at best. The service and ambience were truly what saved this review as the outdoor seating and the mini bar coupled with the decor and the staff friendliness were really good. I should also mention that they encourage you to order from the app, which is spread out around the restaurant bar and tables. Last thing I will mention is that this restaurant is attached to Bloomies.

This location is very small but there is plenty of seating. The chai latte I ordered was so tasty and delicious, you knew the chai they made it with was a great blend. The cashier was able to to accommodate to my dairy free needs. I liked seeing the variation of Cuban desserts they had to try and the decor of the location exemplified the Cuban culture in their art and their food and beverages. I will definitely be coming back!

Ample space, proceeding, courteous staff, and an average expanding menu of authentic Lebanese dishes, sides, desserts, and my personal favorite Turkish coffee. My best friend and I opted for two freshly squeezed glasses of orange juice just as delicious as you can enjoy in the Mediterranean and split an order of Turkish coffee very full of flavor and fragrance gave us the pepper in our step that we were looking for after a good workout. We opted for a couple of the mezze, the tabouli salad (I asked for it with extra lemon and they completely delivered, which was super delicious), an order of Fattoush salad, and an order of hummus with chicken Shawarma on top. It was a great portion for two! I took a crepe to go for the boo, I love that they have these now!! A kinder and strawberry crepe just hits!!! Highly recommend this establishment, even if you don't go for hookah the vibes are impeccable and it's a great place to go to catch up with a pal and experience a little middle eastern culture and cuisine.

The only downside was the limited and not very clean restrooms during a busy event. First, let's give an applause to their social media team for helping me discover this place. The game day promotions caught my attention, and they absolutely delivered. The decor, atmosphere, and energy were all fantastic. You could tell Inca Social was well prepared, with a fully staffed team that stayed attentive throughout our visit. Whether it was quickly finding us an extra chair or constantly refilling our water, the service was excellent. The food was equally impressive. I highly recommend the lomo saltado, and the pasta served alongside it was surprisingly delicious. The Inca Balls were also a great appetizer with a light, crispy exterior and a savory filling. The drinks were solid as well and rounded out the experience nicely. My only complaint is that there are only two restrooms, and given how busy the restaurant was, they weren't as clean as I would have hoped. Overall, this is a lively spot with great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere that I'd happily return to.

Food selection was smaller, food was not worth the price and service was awful. We did not have a reservation but saw several tables open. They sat us near the welcome booth as we were a family of 5. We were given menus but not enough utensils and thought eventually we would get it along with the menus. There seem to be a huddle of employees in the entrance of booth and the waiter did not show up for another 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes passed and a different waitress showed up asking if we were ready. She did not tell us of any specials and we had to ask her the price of the bistec a lo pobre which she said was $26. We also asked her about other items we saw at the online menu but she said they weren't available. We decided to stay and order ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos and bistec a lo pobre. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a chicha. There was no physical menu for children and she verbally told us the options. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my toddler. She took our orders and food came out after 15 minutes. The meat was missing the sauce the menu said it came with, the ceviche tasted very lemony and the chicken tenders were more like chicken balls. The waitress never showed up with our drinks and we decided to just eat and go as the staff seemed to want to socialize more than tend to the customers. Once we were done, we asked for boxes and the check. Apparently, gratuity was already included and maybe thats why the service was so bad? She hardly came to check on us and to top it off she was surprised when we told her drinks never showed up to please take it off check. She didn't apologize or asked how the food was. She gave us boxes and off we left. Later, we realized the bistec a lo pobre was $28 instead of $26 and we had ordered two. I just wanted to leave at that point and not wait another 5 minutes for waitress to fix her mistake. The ad, as shown in picture, said all moms receive a flower but I guess having three kids with me wasn't enough for me to get one. We also noticed when we left their website said a party of 6 or more has gratuity included but we were a party of 5. What is shown online is very different than what you get in person and if the food was great I would gladly go back for at least takeout. Food is not worth it, the service for Mother's Day made it worst and the environment was mediocre at best. Prices were inconsistent and menu is not appealing. Not sure what happened here but changes should be made at least for Mother's Day.
