My sister and I came here for a quick bite to eat with friends before she went back to New York City. When we went up to order it was a little difficult to tell the employee what we wanted because the music was really loud and we couldn't really hear what he was saying & he couldn't really hear what we were saying. He was really nice and did a good job giving us a decent amount of fish as well as the toppings that we asked for but it was a little bit pricy. I paid $35 for two bowls, which isn't too bad but I think you should get at least one or two more toppings for that price. I did eat the entire bowl, unlike my friends and sister, and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back if I was in the area and looking for a quick poki bowl to munch on.

FAV poké spot in the area. AMAZING price compared to other similar places. I usually get the organic mixed greens as a base with the marinated tuna and salmon. (They also have the option of three proteins). The options are plentiful and all free, with the exception of the avocado (+1.50). Usually most places charge extra for seaweed salad and masago, so it was nice to not get an up charge for those. They also put on a decent amount of each requested topping. There are also many sauce choices that have a wide range of flavors, so there is definitely something for everyone. Love love love this place and always go here for my poké fix!! I recommend to anyone looking for cheap and tasty food! 10/10

Great addition to Bethesda! Build-your-own rice bowls. Very fresh fish, particularly the salmon. Wide selection of vegetables and other toppings. Many sauces to choose from. There are both Japanese- and Hawaiian-inspired choices and also plenty of other ingredients to choose from. Lines are infrequent and usually move fairly quickly. Overall, a great place. Ahi Tuna, Crab Salad, Poke Bowl, Zoodle Rice Combo and Zoodle Rice Combo. Things I would get from here on a daily basis.

I end up going for poke often. It's an easy and quick lunchtime option. I tell myself is healthy too. This location is bright and they've got plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and patient when you're trying to make your selections from all the topping options. Be sure to sign up for the rewards program!

I give it 5 stars for exceeding my expectations. I wanted to try something I've never had before and after reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. And even after reading the reviews and looking at pictures I had no idea what I was walking into. But let me tell you, the food is fresh and it's a lot for the amount of money you spend. Usually after eating I feel bloated and tired, this food gave me energy!- and I haven't had that in a long time. I sent pictures to my friends raving about this place. I wouldn't say I could eat this food everyday but it will definitely be high on my food list! Brown rice, tuna, salmon, crabmeat salad, seaweed salad, green onion, corn, mango, pineapple, cucumber, sesame sauce & rice puff [ i allowed them to put an additional sauce on there i can't remember what it's called]

This is by far my favorite poke place in the area. My favorite part is that it's cheap, but still a big portion. Fish is fresh and I like how the fish gets tossed in the sauce instead of drizzled on top. Plenty of toppings to choose from. Make sure to get a good amount of toppings to get your money's worth and also make your bowl super delicious!

Stopped by Poke DC for lunch this week and was so happy with the food i received! They were following strict COVID guidelines: requiring masks, keeping 6 feet distance, etc. They had several fresh food options to choose from to build your meal and helpful employees for a first timer like me. I got a poke bowl and chose steamed sushi rice as my base, although they had several unique base options such as zoodles, brown rice and quinoa, and soba noodles! I went with the small protein options and decided on fresh salmon and tuna. They allowed me as many toppings as I'd like and it was hard to narrow it down from their tons of choices. Overall, I thought the food was fresh, reasonably priced, and there was great speedy service! My only regret is not grabbing a gong cha tea as well! I will be back:)

The size of the matcha cheesecake that is sold for 3.50 per slice. The 1.50 mochi is bigger for sure.

Shocked about the size of the Matcha Cheesecake. It was $3.50 for this tiny slice. Mochi ice cream is definitely about the same size for $1.50.

I love Poki DC for fresh and fast poke bowls. I eat here at least once a week. The quality is great and the prices are very fair.

Mine had Ginger Dressing which it was swimming in, and a liquid which seemed to be pineapple juice? It was gross & inedible, thrown out. My wife's bowl was ordered with Avocado, which was brown & black, GROSS. Also inedible & trashed. I sent an email via your site, which was kicked back as undeliverable, It gave me an address of xxxx@kushisushi.com which also bounced back, so I will try here. Oh what a mistake that was! As I type, I'm fighting to not throw up at work. OMG the fish is not a good quality at all!!! It is super chewy and fatty. It's the worst! Not to mention the extra you pay for avocados gets you like 4 tiny pieces of avocados. I feel sick from just eating this dish! I just lost the fight with my stomach and half of what I ate (which was mostly rice and edemames because I couldn't chew 80% of the fish!) . Oh gosh, I hope no one orders from this place. The Poke is terrible. You've been warned

Interestingly, I thought I was visiting…read morea place that I had previously visited, but I quickly learned this was going to be a first-time dining experience for me. I was somewhat surprised that the restaurant was completely empty during lunch. However, I remembered that I dropped by a couple of days before Christmas, so folks probably where trying to head home or doing last-minute Christmas shopping. I took advantage of the sesame beef bento box lunch special, which was about $13 for the lunch special. I believe the lunch special, that includes a choice between various bento boxes and two maki rolls, from 11 am to 3 pm. My bento box included a good portion of sesame beef, a salad, some rice, and a three-piece California roll. Since the California roll was kind of thick, I'll say the roll was more like a four-piece standard roll. I was a bit surprised the bento box did not include a soup and/or dumplings, but it was what it was. Overall, I thought the bento box was quite tasty, and I really loved that the beef was crispy. It was slightly different style of preparation that I'm used to, but I think it really worked. The staff was very nice, and the restaurant was very clean. There is a paid public parking lot a few feet from the restaurant. However, I think the restaurant might have its own parking area, so double check before paying for parking.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, and there's even an area where you can partially watch the sushi being made, which is a fun touch. Their specialty rolls are unique and absolutely delicious -- definitely not your typical menu. Excited to try more next time!

The…read morespicy mayonnaise is especially delicious, and that's honestly one of the reasons I kept coming back. I used to dine in once or twice a week because I like the food that much. Unfortunately, every time we go, we seem to have the same waitress, and the service experience has really changed how often we come in. She consistently acts like she doesn't want to be there and seems visibly annoyed if you ask for anything. It makes you feel like you're inconveniencing her just by ordering or requesting something simple. Because of this, I've completely stopped dining in and now only order carryout. It's disappointing because the food deserves a great in-restaurant experience to match. I truly hope the owners take note, because with warmer service, this place would easily be a go-to spot again for us.

Service was efficient and the workers were friendly. The prices weren't the cheapest around, but they weren't on the higher end either. The fish was fresh and the rolls I ordered were a good balance of sauce and other ingredients. I was extremely pleased with this spot and would absolutely go back!
