Honestly, I don't think I can go back to ordering gumbo from places like The Boiling Crab--Pescato tops it in every way. We also tried the Parihuela, made with Maine lobster, market fish, littleneck clams, shrimp, green-lipped mussels, roasted corn, diced potatoes, and aji Peruvian broth. From the hostesses, to the server who took our order without even asking if we wanted something to drink, and our food coming out cold. They sat us upstairs and I could hear happy birthday being sang to other people, but not me. That's okay though... the worst part was not enjoying my meal after my husband spent $500+ on dinner between drinks from the bar while waiting for our meal. The bartenders did make good cocktails and that was the only part of the experience that was good.... although we initially were told that we couldn't sit in the open seats at the bar because they were reserved for someone??? spoke with a manager and we were able to sit in those seats while we were waiting for our reservation and to be seated. One other thing that I need to mention is that my husband noticed that the tip amount is different than what he wrote on the receipt! It was changed from what he wanted to give the server to almost double without his consent! Is that even legal? Needless to say, one time was enough for me, and I will never go back. The food, service and ambiance were all found lacking.

Unfortunately the view isn't visible, but trust me, it's beautiful.

I visited Poki Bowl and overall had a good experience. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that you can choose different spice levels for the salmon and tuna, which is a nice option. The atmosphere inside is pleasant -- the place is clean and the interior has bright colors. There are only a few tables inside, but there's also a small shared patio outside with other cafes. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. However, the staff were friendly, attentive, and took time to explain the menu and make recommendations. read more

The problem is that nowhere on the menu does it clearly say there's an additional charge. We even asked the cashier what "any" meant on the menu, and instead of explaining politely, she rolled her eyes at us. That kind of attitude was completely unnecessary and very unprofessional. To make things worse, the chicken that came with the combo was incredibly dry, dark, and overcooked. It looked like it had been sitting out for days and was almost impossible to enjoy. It wasn't particularly busy when my wife, her mom, and I came for a visit on a Monday. But it was nice to eat rice and noodles, without having to have leftovers. Like most food court restaurants, everything is geared towards having individual portions cost $15 or so. But since a three choice combo plate only cost an extra dollar than the two choice ($15.99 vs $14.99) and we were a family not mind sharing, we got the former, with each of us choosing an entree. The shrimp entree cost $1.50 extra and was worth it, with large jumbo shrimp provided in a tasty brown sauce. The orange chicken was what you would expect, with decent pieces of white meat, but a coating that gets soggy sitting around in the steam table. The chicken and broccoli had small pieces of chicken, but provided a good amount of wok-fired broccoli which I enjoyed. It comes with a choice of non-descript lo mein noodles, rice, or both. Seating is shared across the other restaurants: not a huge amount of seating, but easy to find open ones since it wasn't too busy. Very much reminds me of how dining out while shopping at a mall used to be.
