Good fresh fish, the toppings are endless and the sauce is the boss. The fresh lemonade was also good.

If you love sushi you must try this place out. Staff is very informative Will definitely be back read more

Oh. My. Goodness. This is some super delicious pokē bowl magic! The shop is really bright and clean which is always a good sign. They staff was really helpful. It was my first time to visit and won't be my last. There are two sizes, regular and large. The regular bowl comes with two protein choices and the large comes with three. I chose double salmon. I got sushi rice, double salmon, cucumber, sweet onion, Pokēworks classic sauce, avocado, surimi salad, masago, and green onion. The salmon was so fresh. The Pokēworks classic sauce is almost like a ginger vinaigrette and was really flavorful. The rice was warm and the perfect stickiness. The surimi salad is almost like a crab salad and it was really good. I thought about going back a second day in a row, but decided to save it for this weekend. I took mine to-go and devoured it once I got home. My bowl was around $13 because the avocado is extra but so worth it. I am so happy there is a pokē place in the area now! read more

Definitely a favorite!! My son and I love this place. We always create our own bowls and they always turn out delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and everything from the rice to the fish and toppings are always fresh and yummy. We have also tried the spam musabi, which I wasn't sure about but I'm glad I tried it cause it is so good. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually order on the app and it is is ready and waiting for me when I get there. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

I LOVE Pokeworks! It's great majority of the time, there's just a rare occasion the fish turns out fishy tasting. Other than that the employees are nice, clean and this is my favorite place to get poke bowls besides Hawaii! read more

I can't believe how gross this place was. I was very excited to eat here since I love poke and they had 4.5 star reviews. I decided to try something a bit new and go for their "burrito style" poke which comes with the seaweed paper and sushi rice wrapped in your choice of fillings. It was getting late so I ordered for pick up and spent 40min of travel total only to find that my husband and I's order was so oily that it stuck to the paper it was wrapped in, the seaweed wrap was disintegrating from the oil, chunks of raw jalapeño that was unbearable to eat, sushi rice was dried out and HARD, and on top of that we had order two sauces and it had absolutely no flavor. Both my husband and I only ate one half of our meals and couldn't stomach the rest even though we both were very hungry. I had also ordered the mango dessert they had with the coconut milk pudding and got two because, again good reviews, it was displeasing as well, unbearably sweet. I think the mango might have been artificial since it had such a gelatin like texture... overall we were completely disgusted. Which I don't say lightly. I called Pokeworks back to inquire about our meal and maybe one of the sauces had something to do with the excessive oil. The manager answered the phone and told me the oil was from the salmon and that was a bit disturbing since our meal was literally drenched in oil. She pretty much tried to just tell me sorry and leave it at that and then offered me two free bowls next time I came. Which I responded I wasn't going to come back and she kindly refunded my order. She said if the money doesn't refund to call them back in a few days and you bet I will... spent over $30 for a disgusting meal. read more

I've been to poke places all around Houston and the west coast and this is very comparable to the ones in California! Not very expensive, don't charge for every single add on (i'm lookin at you Ono Poke) & has very fresh fish. I got a regular bowl with sushi rice, spicy salmon, scallops which was mixed in with the sriracha aioli. I also got some other toppings like masago, a variety of seaweeds, cucumber, and the crab salad (I forgot the bougie word they used to describe it). They also have a signature kale noodles which my brother got. Will definitely be coming back and ordering the kale noodles! read more

Pokeworks is a great new concept serving Poke. Like a deconstructed sushi roll. On rice, salad or noodles. I had mine over salad. Options are very authentic Hawaiian. Numerous items to choose from. Many layered flavors and textures. Decor is very comfortable and casual. Staff are very helpful with explaining all the possible choices. read more

Great portion of servings. Just wish the spicy salmon was more spicy. The Thai chili peppers they have is a bonus because I love spicy. All there missing is corn I love corn in my poke bowl. read more

Delicious poke at a great price! Staff is wonderful and great at suggesting things to combine to create the magical bowl of poke

Now to be completely honest I absolutely recommend this place. I've been countless times and I have always enjoyed it until my most recent trip. The food is usually so fresh. The atmosphere is super inviting and they even have some of the best sodas. I feel lile there is also a really good variety. Where I am really disappointed is the most recent trip where I am having the worst stomach problems and indigestion. I got the noodles as my base and they were mushy and of an odd kind of slippery texture (normally quite different) my stomach started hurting a bit after. It was like they were old and got warm and then chilled again. Anyhow it threw off the entire meal and made myself and my partner not feel very well. I am hoping that something can be done about this. read more

This place was super good! I unknowingly came on the day of their grand opening when they had a buy one get one free special on their bowls. It was INSANE. Like line out the door insane. But I was already there and didn't feel like going anywhere else, and the owner assured me that the line moves quickly. I'm glad I waited! Everything was super fresh, and their sauces are sooooo good. Their portions are pretty large, I got the regular sized bowl which includes 2 scoops of protein, I doubled up on ahi tuna and only ate about 1/2 of my bowl. I also ordered a spam masubi for my husband. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and bright, and the food was delicious! The only thing I will say is that I didn't like the communal seating. With my anxiety, sitting with strangers or the chance that a stranger could sit next to me, really freaks me out. But overall great experience. read more

Fresh and delicious ingredients. I'm surprised there isn't more reviews for this place yet. I really enjoy building my own poke bowls. There are fish, shrimp, chicken and tofu options to choose from. Stop in and check this place out next time you are craving sushi. read more

I was so excited to have this place open. The food is good but really not conducive to eating inside. They have 3 or 4 long share tables. Some only have backless stools and sit high. Everything comes in a plastic bowl geared for takeout. At the register before ending the amount the register ask how much tip you want to add. The smallest is 15% or hit other. For a take out place I found this unexceptionable. Tip for what? You even get rid of your own trash. No other fast food place expect a tip even ones that deliver your food. Don't get me wrong I'm a good tipper of 20% when there is service. read more

Surpringly good Poke'! Big portions and super friendly staff top off the experience. I always stop at Ono Poké in Houston for some damn good stuff but this place might be my new go to. Especially since they are local. read more

This people is very dirty I placed a large order and they deliver almost at the end of their shift seems they put the left overs giving my family food poisoning, stay away from them cannot believe they still play those games read more

Hopefully this was an isolated incident, I saw the rave reviews and had to try this place! The avocados were blackened on the outside like rotten, not browned from being out. The chicken had lots of crunchy bits and the rice was raw. Disappointed in my experience compared to what I expected. Staff was very friendly!! The lady that helped us was super sweet and even let me sample the sauces to figure out which one I would like best. She was patient and kind- the only reason this review isn't 1 star. read more

First time trying the food lest just say I ate my bowl and the wife's lol it was really good loved the staff vibe cool place to eat

I love this restaurant, I really do. My boyfriend and I make an effort to eat here once a week. But for the past two months, our orders are either completely wrong or missing items each time we order online. I've paid extra for avocado three times now and I don't see it in my bowl when I open it. Bowls usually don't have any sauce on them and added mix-ins not requested. I am so irritated with this ongoing occurrence to the point where I'm completely against eating here again. read more

This place is really good and the staff is friendly. They even assist you if you don't know exactly how to build a bowl. This will definitely be a once a week or more spot for me!! read more

Went for my first time & it was great place to eat a poke bowl. Food is fresh & great customer service. I keep going back as it is the best place I have found for a poke bowl. I also tried the poke burrito that they wrap in seaweed and that is tasty as well. So if your looking for something light to eat order the poke burrito. I am so happy that Clearlake finally got a Pokeworks. read more

Pokeworks used to be amazing. Ingredients felt fresh, restaurant was very clean, and the employees were amazingly sweet. I hadn't been for a few months and decided to get lunch today. I arrived 5 min after opening. I stood there for several minutes without even being acknowledged. One employee was stocking soda bottles, one was cleaning the trash cans, and one was stirring/inserting ingredients. I waited patiently, but even when someone did come help me they seemed bored and irritated to be there. The countertop was dirty and the floor was sticky, so definitely not the clean location I remember. The server put onions in my bowl by accident. When I mentioned it, she said that I had asked for them (I hadn't) and she just shrugged. Lastly, on FB they said it was BOGO bowls today, but when asked I was told they weren't doing it for lunch today even though FB wasn't clear on that. read more

Pretty damn good poke. It's fresh and full of great flavor. Just delicious. I'll be back . Thanks!

My family and I went there on the day of their soft opening for a light and healthy lunch. The food was very fresh and tasty with lots of variety to choose from. You can make your own poké bowl to whatever you prefer and it has decent pricing for the amount of food you get. The workers were friendly and outgoing, making a great environment. I would definitely go here again! read more

Amazing poke bowl and even tasted good via door dash. Sometimes delivery isn't the same as dinning In, but this place doesn't disappoint.

about a week ago, i had my first ever bowl of poke at this location and i have to say that everything about my experience was perfect. but i would love to highlight something, or rather an individual, that helped make this random food trip spectacular. his name was alex and his customer service towards me was out of this world. initially i was overwhelmed by the amount of ingredients that i could put in my bowl, but he was there every step of the way to build the one i would enjoy the most. he even gave me some recommendations that he usually gets himself. if you ever read this alex, just know that i am really appreciative of how nice and patient you were! read more
