Pokemon slippers
Crystal L.

Dear Pokemaniacs, I just spent $100+ at your shop and you gifted me a cute little Pokemon model figurine! You have hats, beanies, posters, mouse pads, card gaming mats, slippers, key chains, necklaces and whatever else I could find to make into Pokemon form. Here are the things I loved: 1. Giant plushies pikachu ($90) - he makes everyone look great in selfies 2. Sylpheon slippers - cuteness and warmth on your feet. (Also available in all other eevee evolutions) 3. Charizard beanie - doesn't light my hair on fire, but keeps me toasty warm. 4. Cute mouse pad of adorable Pokemon friends - my mouse knows what cuteness is now. Justin spilled the deets of how they just opened and the owners are the same folks who are at Press Play, 2 shops down in the Lakeline Mall. I think it's awesome and have been to the actual Pokemon Center before it was revamped to the Nintendo store in NYC. I really am floored by their inventory and can't help myself to stop in and gush over everything!

It's a very nice store and had really cool buttons made from old Pokémon cards. Especially loved all the plushes there. Everything was kind of expensive though, my friend got a medium sized Jolteon plush which cost her $40. Other than that a nice store for Pokémon fans.

If you're into Pokémon, this store is a great place to spend some time. The staff is very hit and miss regarding their Pokémon knowledge, so if you're looking for help from them be forewarned. They have a nice selection of items and I always find something new to check out whenever I visit. The prices may be a little higher on some things, but I guess they have to pay the mall rent. I enjoy checking out the new things and seeing if I can find something I just gotta have.

What a great selection of Pokémon cards, games, and merchandise. It's one of the one reasons I come to Austin from San Antonio.

Great shop with a wide variety! Singles were newer and it was sparse. Vintage packs and boxes were at market or above. 10/10 experience

A lot of my childhood memories don't even really include buying things here- my parents weren't exactly rolling in the dough in the 90's but this place was so magical I never left disappointed. But- here's my adult perspective review. I love coming here for the nostalgia, gifts for everyone in my life, the seasonal items, and for The dopamine hit. I love all of their fidget toys, tiny silly toys like baby doll race cars (as in a car in the shape of a baby), blind box toys and their trading set up, and baby section. This is where you go when your friend is having a baby and already has all of the gear she needs. This is where you get stickers, your Christmas ornaments, a jellycat moon that is larger than you, a family of squirrels, a custom dollhouse family...I could go on and on.

Well, I did not have a clue where to find a Dragon Ball Z Action Figure or even knew what it was, so I consulted the hubs and he suggested a toy store. My visit to Terra Toys on Anderson Lane started with my mission: find a Dragon Ball Z Action Figure. What I thought would be a quick shopping trip turned into an adventure through one of Austin's most unique and charming toy stores. Walking into Terra Toys transported me into the wonderful world of imagination. Talk about sensory overload...color explosion, oversized stuffed animals, toys at every turn. Every section of the store was filled with toys of interest...from classic toys and puzzles to collectibles, games, art supplies, and items I had never seen before. Wow, wow, wow! My search for the perfect Dragon Ball Z Action Figure became a treasure hunt. With so many collectibles lurking throughout the store, I found myself scanning shelves, peeking into display cases, and inspecting every area of the store in search of a Dragon Ball Z figurine. Unfortunately, my quest for the illusive Dragon Ball Z came to an end. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, happily walking me to different parts of the store looking for a Dragon Ball Z. There is something to be said for the thrill of the hunt and your discoveries along the way. My Dragon Ball Z quest continues...

I found everything I needed and wanted, from lesson plans to games, all at a reasonable price. I must add that the staff was very instrumental in what I needed more than I did. They also suggested I get a discount card, but no need for that because teaching for me was only for one year! So I like to give them a big thank-you from all the teachers who show up, lost, after not teaching for a while!

It's tucked away in the corner of the shopping area so you might miss it...but it's worth looking for and going in. So much Lego goodness. First off, the store is clean and laid out so well! I love the loose Lego and minifig bins to buy extra stuff or build your own. That alone could be hopes and hours. Then there's the fact that the store is grouped out by Lego subject (ie the Star Wars area, where I spent most of my time!) so it's easy to go and see your faves from what you collect. Or in my case, just see and learn what's even out there. I love that they have TONS of minifigs to buy from each subject. You can buy prebuilt Lego sets and items and they have new in box stuff to buy too. And the prices are really great. Last but not least the staff was amazing. It was great to be able to talk and nerd out over Legos with them. And their knowledge is out the product is awesome. A great place for kids, and big kids, to go!!!
