I stopped by hoping to check out Pokémon PSA cards, but they weren't on display in-store and I had to look them up on the website instead. It would be nice to see some of those items showcased in person in the future. That said, the staff was very friendly and helpful, making the visit enjoyable overall. Only knocked one star because you do need to check your buy list to make sure everything is included. I've had several instances where one card is missing and I needed to make a separate trip to pick up the missing cards. Made this mistake twice before I started double checking my orders before leaving. I usually order 10-15 cards per order so I understand things can get missed - just need to double check before leaving.

The woman at the counter told me 80% which was perfect for what I wanted. The following Monday I brought in 10 high value MTG cards - almost entirely secret lair that I've collected over the last few years. I was offered much lower than I expected but I understand card values change and I was told previously that they bought at 80% so I assumed that was what they were offering. It's on me for not double checking but I trusted them based on what I was told before. It still felt off by the time I got home so I double checked and did some math and it didn't add up. Called the next day to confirm the trade in percentage - this time I was asked if it was Pokemon, MTG or Sports card. That's when I was told it was actually 65% for MTG. If I had known that I would have kept my cards. Multiple people expressed interest in my cards while I was still in the store so I know these will move fast. I really wish whoever I spoke with on the first day had clarified what kind of cards I was bringing in. If I had known I wouldn't have sold them in the first place and found an alternative. I received a reply on my google reviews that this was a miscommunication on their part and I think the store should make it right based on their mistake.

I got to spend my time painting, talking about Warhammer, and getting away from everything. Lucas the store manager is great, the people I met in the store is great, the selection is great. It's a good day if I'm able to make it to this store. Sometimes, the grim darkness of the far future is the best way to get away from the grim darkness of reality. I think people need to understand the reality of running a one person store. If you're one person working the entire store gets sick, you can't open. As a collector that's my favorite way to shop. I like going in not looking for anything in particular and stumbling upon a cool card. All their cards are behind the counter in file cabinets.
