This is my go to poke place when I'm at work. I've gone a handful of times and every time the poke has been good. The man and woman who work behind the counter are super cute and friendly. The fish has always been high quality and I've been super full off the regular bowl (2 scoops). I usually get the classic Hawaiian tuna or classic Hawaiian salmon and spicy tuna or salmon. I am a vegetarian so I opted for the 'make your own poke' and got a regular sized bowl with tofu as my protein of choice. Their scooper for tofu was cross-contaminated with some orange colored fish-like thing (argghh , why-o-why ) so I pointed that out to the server .. he washed the scooper, but i could clearly see that there was some of it in the tofu container mixed in with the rest of the tofu. Anyway I didn't want to walk out as my colleague had already gotten her bowl. There were a lot of vegetarian toppings to choose from, so that was good. Overall my poke tasted alright, nothing out of the ordinary. However the servers were curt and had a very cold vibe .. and this is when there was no other customer in line after me. It's a very small place with limited seating .. not good for groups. The food is reasonably priced though, for capitol hill area. I paid around 10.50$ for a regular sized poke. read more

While walking around cap hill, I was a little hungry after a few beers at Redhook Brewery and since this spot was across the street, I decided to give it a try without any prior knowledgde or information about this spot. Turns out its a new-ish poke shop run by a super friendly and warm Korean couple. Contrary to normal poke shops, the owner was VERY generous with the toppings (edamame, roe, seaweed salad, cucumber, fried garlic, corn, etc...) and he was super willing to give me more and it seemed like he wast going to stop, unless it got ridiculous. The quality of the fish itself was average, but the sauces were very well done and overall, the poke bowl was amazing and super filling for the price. It's the BEST feeling when your bowl has to be compressed down with a lid before its handed to you. I've been getting all my friends to try this spot and I haven't heard 1 bad review yet. I'd definitely come back to get more poke, but I will also try the sushi they have to offer eventually. Do yourself a favor and come to this spot! You wont regret it. read more

Solid poke place! I looooove their Korean Spicy bowl (8.99$), and as a Korean I can say they are legit. The sauce is always on point, and the portion size is generous for the price. The owners are a wife and husband, and they are so sweet. Also they are dog friendly which is huge plus! I bring my dogs (one big, one smaller size) when I order to-go's and the owners are always friendly and happy to see my fur babies. The instructions for making poke bowls and ordering was on the chalk board menu. Ordered Small Poke. $8.99. Comes with 2 proteins. Had the spicy tuna and reg salmon. I wish they had kept separate but ended mixing with the special spicy house sauce. Remind myself to keep proteins separate to keep flavors separate. Then I added masago, jalapeño mixes to the fish. Pretty much Kevin let me have any add ons. I like they make their own Kim chee, Marinated radish and pickles. The flavors are really good. And the small was ample sized! A deal for $8.99 plus tax. Fish tasted slightly off and stale (weird considering they just opened), vegetables were cut too thick, rice was completely unseasoned, sauces had no flavor. The miso soup was okay but not great. You can put unlimited amounts of toppings on your Poke! The prices are really good. $9 for the regular size bowl. Two good scoops of any protein you desire (tuna, salmon, octopus, etc), and as many of the sauces and toppings you want! Yes, there are a lot of Poke restaurants on Cap Hill but this one is so non pretentious. Honest and delicious food. My wife and I live across the street and plan on coming here a lot! There's pro's and con's from my order from here. Pros- -The vegetable and non-fish ingredients are of fairly high quality and taste good. -Price was competitive or even a little lower than other poke places in Seattle. -Everything was fresh Cons- -Portion size was a bit small. -Rice base was almost non-existant compared to most poke places. It was like a single scoop of rice that was flattened and spread out to fill out the bottom of the bowl. -Sauces are very flavorful, but there was so much of it doused onto my bowl it was like eating a salad where someone spilled the bottle of dressing on it. It really comes down to more rice, and less sauce, IMO. read more

This place is sooo good! I think the 2 people that run this place are husband and wife and they're always welcoming people in and are super friendly. They make you want to give them business haha. They have so many items to customize your poke bowl. I usually get 1/2 salmon 1/2 tuna with imitation crab, pickled cucumber, kimchi, and avocado. The sauces I get are the Korean spicy sauce and Spicy mayo. On top. I get the crispy onion flakes. Soooo good..... They actually have little laminated cards where you can check off what you want out of each category which I typically do or you can just go down the line and pick what you want. Quality is good and flavor is on point. I truly believe this is the best poke spot on Capitol Hill. It's not as noticeable so it's easy to miss, but this place definitely is worth a try. read more

They are dog friendly and even brought our dog a water bowl (and filled it up multiple times - she was thirsty). The food was awesome - you can have your buffet options, similar to other places. This place is exactly what you want out of it. The owners make poke for you, and it's really dope poke. It's 8.99 for a big bowl with two scoops of fish. The sushi rice (sticky rice with vinegar and sugar) is great on its own. The tuna was fresh, and the wasabi mayo got all up in my sinuses. Avocado is a dollar extra, but you get a ton of avocado. Also, the mango was low key the best mango I've had in a poke bowl. I've been to some older and more famous places in Seattle, but I liked Poke N Roll more. read more

I love that I can just stand there, look at the selections and tell them what I want. The seaweed salad is great, the Kim Chee (I am not usually a fan) and pickled radish are especially good. And they have tofu so I can be vegan and get protein! They have ginger with no pink dye. They are generous in portions, and the sweet chili sauce is yummy. Lots of veggie choices.
