Wanted a quick order to go and decided to try this spot and ended up really liking it. It was pretty decent price, lots of options, the workers were fast and polite. It's quite a small spot with only 3 tables to sit at so def probs caters more to go or people eating quickly and leaving as opposed to a nice sit down place. I really liked my bowl and I would come back if in was craving poke at home

Great to go poke spot. The service can be hit or miss, sometimes they are a bit cold (not rude) and other times friendly. I always order the plain tuna (not spicy- that one is mushy and I did not like the taste or consistency). The serving size for fish can also be hit or miss. Sometimes they have have have can be cheap with the portions and other times they've been generous. I love the topping bar, I usually add quite a bit of options. There are seats but I usually take to go.

Poke plus is by far the best poke place in Cap Hill in my opinion! I'm not sure why there aren't more people talking about it. I've had it delivered once and thought they were quite generous with the fish and toppings. I went in today to order a bowl to go, and I was very surprised no one was there. Fish quality is amazing, and they have all the toppings I like. It seems like a mom/pop shop, so if you're in the area, go support!

I was super skeptical based on the location but ordered take out since it was close. I got the large with three scoops of protein and wow this was an amazing surprise. I got salmon, tuna and spicy salmon and it was so good. The seasoning was perfect and the fish was fresh and delicious. The sides were really good and I enjoyed the seaweed salad a lot. The parking is super easy with parking on the roof, perfect for grabbing an order and it's right off broadway which is easy if you're near public transport. The owners are so nice and sweet and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again!

Glad to know about this poke place! Pretty good prices and good poke with lots of topping/customization options. Service was nice and quick. Portions were good, plenty to be full but noticed the container was a bit thinner. Parking can be a little tricky, we found street parking.

Love coming here for poke, the owners are a cute older couple that are always there to serve you. By far the most flavorful poke I've had in Seattle.

This place needs more recognition. It looks like a mom/pop shop, no other workers inside, by what I've seen. 5/5 - Customer service. walked in and was greeted right away. the elder lady who took our order was so nice and patient. I wanted everything but I tried not to be too "complicate" with my order. Lol 5/5 - Food, the fish you can tell is fresh! who like their poke all fishy, i know not me. this place needs more recognition. we ordered their large bowl which consist of 3 scoop of any fish of your choice. I chose spicy salmon, hawaiian classic tuna + salmon for my meat. I asked if I could get half/half (sushi rice + steamed rice) and she agreed o.o of course along with the random add-ons we felt like would go right. If you're around capitol hill, you should definitely check this place out. I deduct one star because it's not the best area, was lowkey sketch. will find myself back for some good 'ol poke craves. even better if they doordash or what not.

    Lion King Roll

Wow, I've had a lot of lion king rolls in my life, but this one tops them all! Friendly service, comfortable space, AND I saw the owners love on a customer's dog.. bonus for the dog-friendly business!

Sweet Poke shop owned by a sweet family! If you're looking to support a local business and are in the mood for a delicious poke bowl, you're in good hands! The serving sizes are very generous and the food is great! The shop is on the smaller end but is very cute and nice for a quick stop

Salmon Poke Bowl with Miso soup

Excellent poke bowls! Our bowls were piled high with toppings. Love their spicy options. The man and woman (owners?) behind the counter were friendly and kind. We were offered some watermelon by the man. Awesome spot! Would come again!

This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! They share parking spots with the rest of the plaza and it's not difficult to find a spot if you're willing to walk just a few extra feet. Went for an oddly timed meal on a Saturday around 4PM and they still had all their poke options. There are about 6-8 tables in the store, but quite a few folks take their meals to go. It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.

I agree with another reviewer (I had the seared salmon bowl when I first went) and I loved it - but I am a minority because I know the quality of the salmon was super high and I don't require a lot of sauce to enjoy it. But every time I get the mixed chirashi sushi donburi, it is just "beyond expectations." I have now gone almost a dozen times, and it feels like a treat to bring people there - Georgetown in itself is a bit of a surprise, parking is tricky but there is parking lot and the hours are great (I think till 9:00 daily) and the people and service are wonderful. My friend who speaks Japanese talked to the owner and he started this restaurant in Japan and brought it to the Seattle area about 5 years ago. It feels totally authentic, Japanese owned and run, and the quality is consistent every time.

The taste was unfortunately very bland, no significant sear in the salmon, and the soy sauce didn't add anything memorable to the bowl. The Una-Gyu Don wasn't bad, but the broiled eel with sukiyaki just wasn't special enough to make you crave it again. The location has a parking lot next door at least. Internally the dining space is narrow and fills up quickly at opening times in the weekend. Order at the counter or kiosk, and they'll deliver the food to your table, which you bus yourself at the end.

There are no bells and whistles here, just excellent service, fair prices, and fantastic food. There are only a handful of tables, which is really meant for solo diners and two people at best. There is a handful of takeout patrons at any given time, but that's only because of the wait. It's far more enticing to sit in and experience the magic that exists in every bowl. Water is self-serve and thankfully presented in a filtered water tank that spits out cold, delicious water. A majority of the bowls are between $13-16 each, which in today's foodflation economy seems expected. The good news is that the portion is substantial in every bowl. My go-to is their chirashi, which is roughly $19 but features a nice array of fish cuts that include salmon, chopped fatty tuna, masago, fresh water eel, shrimp with albacore and another dose of tuna. The unagi don is their most expensive bowl at nearly $21, but the broiled unagi with the eel sauce that is dynamite. The textures, the sweetness, and the size is all on point. And due to its status as a teriyaki city, I think the chicken teri don is an excellent alternative to all the seafood. The teriyaki hits all the right flavor notes, with just enough sweetness with the tenderness of the chicken meat. Add in another $1 and it's a spicy version. I so wish there was something like this in my neck of the woods. If I lived in Seattle, this would be a weekly destination. I'm already looking forward to my next visit(s).
