I used to like this poke place a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, my most recent visit fell short of my expectations. On the pro side, there were of fresh options for your poke bowls, variety of different bases, sauces, and toppings. I was excited when I created my bowl (pictured). I got salmon and tuna, but the tuna seemed to be very low quality. It was overly fatty and chewy. I had to keep spitting pieces out because they were palatable. I had come later in the day, and the worker grabbed some fresh fish for me, so it was disappointing that it seemed of poor quality. I also thought that the dressing is on the light side (which I never usually believe) and I couldn't taste the flavor throughout. It was a cute place. Maybe it would have been better earlier in the day. read more

Poke bowls are an interesting thing. All of the time they are a mixture of veggies and some of the time they have raw salmon or tuna on top. Some of the time also, they have cooked meat, and then,to me, that turns it into a Bibim bap of sorts. So is there anything different with Poké Mahi of Naples? Not really, no. Every poke place strives for freshness and their ingredients, and so pokey mahi of Naples has done the same. Their ingredients are amazingly fresh. What is different is their choices. Their premade bowls look great, and the Korean barbecue poke you bowl, to me, is amazing. Definitely coming back, and definitely trying a different bowl. The woman hoping me with the bowl, did a great job and packed on those ingredients. Most places I go to give you four ingredients, she gives five. She is also very generous with the amount. It is a little pricey with the cheapest bowl starting at $15.99 but when you carry the bowl out, I swear to you, it's like holding a brick. In the rice, I don't know if it's over cooked or purposely done but it is silky, smooth and very delicious. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

This place is really nice inside. They have a dinning area on one side and a sofa style sitting area on the other side. The place was very cleaned and the restroom as well. I loved that the Womens restroom had feminine supplies just in case. Very thoughtful! They have several bowl to choose from but I decided to build my own. I love salmon but I was not impressed with the one they had. It didn't look like the fresh salmon that other poke bowl places have so I went with the tuna instead. They gave me one scoop, and it was a tiny scoop of tuna for the size of the bowl that they used. They had good topping options. Great seaweed salad. read more

Terrible customer service. We have been coming here for years. They close at 7. We walked in at 6:59 and were greeted with a very rude tone and told they were closed multiple times before even being able to turn around. It was an honest mistake and we thought they closed at 8 since that's what time they used to close at. In short- High quality and quantity poke bowls where the size accounts for the seemingly high prices. Better than your average poke bowl place and worth a visit. Impressive poke bowls! Better than your average poke bowl for sure!! For one, the bowls are pretty big. They're filled to the brim with lots of mix-ins and good amount of the protein. So although it did seem a bit pricey at first, the portions and quality definitely accounted for that. Also, the staff (especially the man who seemed to be the owner who made my bowl) was very friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about the food. He gave samples of sauces, etc. Just was a nice experience and better than other poke bowl places I have been to. -I will say that I have thought about stopping by this place for a poke bowl before, but upon looking at the prices/menu, was deterred. It was probably a few $ more than other bowl places I've had in Miami area and the price deterred me from going then. Now that I went, I was impressed with the size of the bowl and can understand the price more. With that said, it may help to have cheaper and smaller sized options if trying to get more traffic in the door (as a Naples native, I know this shopping plaza can be a harder place for business). Please let me offer some criticism. Your portions of protein for the price of a bowl are very undersized for the price. On my first visit, I was very disappointed watching the meticulous portion control of picking pieces one by one and counting while preparing the order which was an obvious, and incorrect approach in methodology used by so many owners of small restaurants thinking that this will earn them more profit in the long run which is so untrue, and a recipe for their inevitable demise. What this methodology actually does is cause your customers to never return again, thinking the portion to price ratio is not worth it. From a fellow restaurant owner of a chain of stores, I urge you to proportion your protein to the price, and the effect will be amazing for your profits in the long run. The way my experience was, I would never return, so if your business is off, this is exactly why. Trust me on this before it's too late, as once a certain threshold of this way of thinking takes hold, it's very hard to recover. Other than that, the food was decent, but not enough reason to bring me back. For Poke, I would also encourage you to drop the meat items. Add Masago as a topping, and keep the menu to fish/sushi for a poke bowl establishment. You can do tuna and salmon several ways, and add a few more selections of creativity. If a certain menu item is too expensive, take it off the menu, or charge a small up charge for it. Don't limit the toppings to 5. Let the customer have whatever they want. Truly hoping for your success! read more
