    Amazing experience. Chef Jared went above and beyond with the best gluten-free tripletail and octopus I've ever had--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. He even came out to visit our table, which made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend!

    I think every restaurant have dishes that work and dishes that should be modified / removed from the menu. I'll start with the not so great - the appetizer Hong Kong XO sauce octopus is served on a fajita platter with chunks of red cabbage. The sauce is sickly sweet and burned on the hot iron pan. The smoke overpowered the smoke alarm so we got a smoke and sound show. I'm embarrassed this is called Hong Kong XO sauce as this dish is not. Chef - there's a new dim sum spot by the airport that serves XO sauce with rolled rice noodles. Please go try this dried scallop, dried shrimp, Chinese ham, shallots, shallots, garlic, chilis - no sugar!!! The octopus is nicely cooked but completely ruined by the sweet burnt sauce. Probably won't order this again. Now the really wonderful! The Cajun Pan Seared Scallops made with 4 Day Boat U-10 Diver Scallops, Creole Seasoning, Crawfish Risotto with Charred Corn & Mushroom Etouffee Sauce is one of the most delectable bite of food I've tasted in a while. It's creamy and rich in flavor but the sweetness of the corn brightens the dish. The whole fried yellow snapper was also very good. I didn't mind the bones or eating every body part. The eyeballs were a little fishy but the rest of the fish was delish. This is more of a personal taste, but the red vinegar wasn't that great. I'd suggest a ginger/scallion Chinese soy/oil dressing vs the vinegar with rice vs the soba noodles. Overall, a delightful meal and can't wait to try other dishes!!

Dea, our server, was exceptional -- attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. She took the time to explain how the restaurant works, gave us great recommendations, and helped guide us through ordering, which made the experience feel seamless and enjoyable. The manager also came over to introduce himself and checked on us throughout the evening, which really showed the level of care and effort being put into customer experience. Overall, this visit was everything we hoped the first one would have been, and we truly appreciate the effort made to turn things around.
