This is the only place I order poke from on the Northshore. Its always good Now Im hungry. read more

I used to love this place, ate there at least once a week. The last 3 times I've been, it hasn't been good at all. Very skimpy or completely missing ingredients, and last night the spicy tuna was rancid... had to throw it away. Won't be going back... read more

Made a delivery order through door dash. Was highly disappointed. I've gotten poke at other restaurants before, so I knew what I should have received. Portion size was sad, rice had a mushy texture, my husbands baked salmon was over cooked. Was not satisfied, especially for a $50 price tag. read more

Been coming here off and on for 2 years. It's a great place for poke bowls. The workers here were so friendly and always had a smile on their faces. They have since changed workers and now they are not friendly. They talk to low under their masks. Seem to get irritated when your telling them what you want. Definitely makes us not want to come in here again and go behind their restaurant to the other poke bowl place. read more

I love their fresh ingredients. It's so nice to have a place to eat that's healthy and has fresh options that are quick! They also have a good rewards program! read more

Poke Loa - Mandeville - Fresh & delicious! - Poke Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

So happy there's finally a Poke Loa location on the north shore! I like sushi, but most typical sushi rolls perpetuate the avocado plague. Poke Loa gives me the option to get exactly what I want, and to leave out what I don't want (AKA avocado). The amount of fruit/vegetables you end up getting means this probably qualifies as a healthy meal too, possibly even more so than normal sushi rolls. read more

All hail the management for hiring Karen. Efficient. Cordial. A pleasure. Karen gives the pls e the attitude adjustment it needed! Very fresh food. Recommend! read more

We ordered delivery. My husbands ramen bowl was piping hot, but my Thai soup was room temperature. I reheated it and the flavor was pretty good. We had an order of pork stuffed sticky buns that had obviously been microwaved- chewy with hard sections from nuking. We ordered through asap, where the restaurant name said Ramen NOLA. The food arrived in a Poke Loa bag and now I see the place has the same address and basically same menu. A bit confusing. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. They don't even have POKE sauce. There's nothing else to say. Oh, and no one here has ever had real Hawaiian Poke. For REAL Hawaiian Poke, drive across the lake to Pokeworks at Lakeside. read more

Brought my boyfriend in yesterday! He was amazed at the selection and was stoked that every time we come back he can get something different with ALL THE TOPPINGS....*crying laughing*. A male employee that had been cutting some avocados up made sure we enjoyed our food as we left. Super nice/great dude. I hope they start selling alcohol soon so we can have a crisp cold beer with our bowl! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Oh, and once again it's sparkling clean. I don't know how they pull that off! We ate the food too fast to take a picture! read more

It really says a lot when a business reacts to a dissatisfied customer by trying to discredit them with name calling. They could have used my free and unbiased feedback as an opportunity to improve their product, but they'd rather call me "dubious," "false," "with little concern about the facts," and "loose with the truth." Seems like I struck a nerve. There are better places for poke. I will personally skip this one. read more

New place I hadn't spotted before - Hawaiian! Convenient location right on the corner of the service road on Causeway/Hwy 22. Three stars so far for concept and cleanliness, maybe more in the near future! read more

Tried the Magazine location first and loved it. When we heard they opened one over here we were super thrilled. Food is just the same, fresh and clean. Have been a few times and always fresh and yummy. I always get to go, haven't ate in yet. read more

Poke Loa - Mandeville - Tuna poke bowl Build Your Bowl (Regular) - Poke Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

Excited to have another healthy choice for fast food. Kids and I both enjoyed the regular size bowl and it was a lot of food! Only reason giving it four stars is the price for three regular bowls and two drinks was $45!! A bit pricey. We can't frequent at that price as much as we would like. read more

Poke Loa - Mandeville - three bowls of food on a table - Poke Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

I eat a lot of poke. This place is really mediocre and the food is almost soulless. Like corporate cookie-cutter soulless. Looking at it makes you excited but as soon as you take a bite it's the most underwhelming, disappointing experience. read more

Usually one of my go to places for Poké, unfortunately had some disappointments with my order for today. Got two bowls and one was perfect, but the other had rubbery undercooked rice noodles, a cm of ponzu liquid at the bottom and rancid sesame seeds (if you've ever had one you know what it tastes like). Still mostly edible with good fresh fish, but definitely not one of my best experiences. read more

Had a tuna bowl last week and a salmon bowl this week. Both were excellent! Highly recommended Had another tuna bowl yesterday. Excellent! read more

The food is always so fresh and plenty of protein options, the zoodles are fun if you want to avoid rice, the toppings are great and so many textures to choose from - the place is always so clean but even better is the customer service - always so friendly! I always get a kombucha - they have so many bottled drink options and fountain and also their agua frescas. And delicious homemade cookies! Every single thing is so good. read more

I never tried Poke until the Mandeville location opened. I love it! I used to eat sushi on a weekly basis but now I head to Poke Loa at least once at week. Can't lie - sometimes twice a week! The fish is always super fresh and they have so many veggie options. I'm not a big rice fan so being able to get my meal over a bed of field greens is the perfect (and healthy) solution. If you don't eat raw fish, I suggest the shrimp. That's how I got my husband hooked and now he's into full on sashimi tuna and salmon. Every single employee I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. David goes out of his way to make you laugh and enjoy your experience there. He always makes my day better. Thomas is super nice and knows how to throw a great Poke bowl together. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is quick. If you haven't given this place a try - go now! Fingers crossed they open more locations on the Northshore. read more

Poke Loa is our new favorite place for fresh ingredients, healthy lunch/dinner, and amazing selections. There are no places like this on the Northshore and my wife and I are officially regulars frequenting twice a week most weeks. Yesterday we were assisted by Kevin, Kaitlyn, and Mason and their customer service and professionalism truly made our experience perfect. Keep up the great work! read more

I have eaten here several times, the selection is good but everything tastes sort of the same, not a lot of flavor. The atmosphere is a little sterile and not very inviting. The prices are very high, especially since the quality is not very good. I only ate here because I am new to the area and didn't realize there was another poke place around the other side of the building! Since we are limited on the north shore this isn't terrible but LA Poke and Sushi is so much better!!! My favorite poke place is Poke Geaux but there is not one on this side, so for the best overall poke go around the corner to the other poke place read more

With limited options available during the outbreak scare I tried this place out. I was not disappointed it was incredible food and fast service. It was my 1st time in the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful and helping me choose my items . I will definitely be back. read more

Ordered a poke bowl with spring mix, tuna, octopus, and a bunch of vegetable toppings. I was very disappointed by the flavor and size of my meal. Too expensive for the portion of food you receive. read more

The experience here was just okay/kinda meh when compared to our favorite poke place (which is right next door, but it was a Sunday and they were closed). Definitely not as fresh of fish, the snowcrab wasn't as tender or flavorful, and the mango was clearly frozen and thawed... The only thing I liked better about this place was the offering of rice noodles as a base. read more

I don't know why I waited so long to give Poke Loa a try! Fresh, refreshing, delicious! Very down to earth staff! I will definitely be back a lot! Thanks for the explosion of my taste buds! read more

Delicious. Healthy. I'm so happy to find this place. Young guy who made my dish was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful restaurant. A vast variety of toppings to add to your Poke bowl. My one issue is that there are no to go cups. Which I thought was weird. The staff was very knowledgeable and efficient though. read more

Amazing! Delicious, refreshing, filling! Very friendly staff and definitely a place that will get my business in the future!

Very clean and as a quick service restaurant makes all the difference! I got the regular poke bowl w/ shrimp and loaded up on the toppings. I thought the quality was excellent and the price point was of descent value. Kevin and the other staff members were excellent during my visit. Our table was cleared very promptly and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my conversation with my friend that was eating w/ me. read more

Not only is the food great every time but yesterday I witnessed excellent customer service towards me and my daughter. What really blew me away was the 2 ladies that came in after me. They walked in with Togo boxes from the restaurant next door and expressed some curiosity the gentleman behind the counter treated them with so much kindness and took the time to explain every single item and answered every questions even knowing they weren't going to order anything. He went above and beyond and that deserves some recognition. read more

The food is undisputedly amazing, but their staff goes above and beyond. I was in this evening for dinner and after I got my food and returned to my car, I realized my 8 month old beagle had rolled down the window and escaped! I was absolutely devastated and thought I would never find her again. The PokeLoa team led by Kevin made sure all the customers were cared for and one stayed back while Kevin and one other helped me search the surrounding area and parking lot... Kevin helped me until the very end and even ended up being the one to find Olive and take her from another Good Samaritan that had picked her up (it was the third person to have picked her and almost lose her). Any how Poke Loa will forever have my business thanks to the amazing Kevin and his teammates, and I will forever tell everyone I talk to, to come try their amazing poke bowls!!! read more

This is my first time going here and my first time eating Poke. It was good and the guys behind the counter were very helpful. But, I would like it if they had an ice water option as opposed to bottled only, and I really did not care for the paper straws. I will certainly be going back, but will be bringing my own straw. read more

Delicious! Love this place! So fresh and the staff is beyond helpful, especially Kevin.

My first time eating poke and I was pleasantly surprised! My sister in law is from Hawaii, so my expectations were not high. However, I really enjoyed the flavor! The ingredients came together nicely, and the food was extremely fresh. The worker was very patient with me and did an excellent job of explaining the menu and choices. I will definitely be pack! read more

Absolutely delicious. Quick and easy. Nice service. Fresh food. I'm always on the run so works great for me

My first experience trying poke. I have found a new food that I absolutely love! First, the restaurant was clean and very welcoming. Second, the selections of ingredients was impressive. Lastly, the young man that waited on us was very patient with this poke newbie. Can't wait to come back. read more
