I was tinch nervous when I saw it juicy, (because of don't eat wet bread) but it was soooo good and buttery-ish, with a creamy Cajun sauce. I also had charbroiled oysters for the first time, not my favorite, but edible and full of flavor! (texture thing) I also had a piece of Fried Flounder and the Shrimp & Grits. Everything was so full of flavor. Had the Tropical Moon, the Pina Colada Mimosa and the Cherry Lemon Sun drop with Jim Beam (no vodka), Margarita Mimosa... sooo good! Izzie was my waitress extraordinaire for the time, along with some of her friendly colleagues! Top notch! I will definitely be back! The atmosphere was light and lively at the same time!

I love the service and mostly at the end of the meal, you are given a bowl of hot water in it, along with lemons and a towel so you can sanitize your hands. That's my favorite part. I've taken this ritual back to my house for parties and my friends think I'm cool for it! Lol. The ambiance is great! It does become crowded and you will bump elbows with your neighbor. Prepare to meet new people as you bump elbows! Enjoy!

I enjoyed it and would definitely go back. The customers service was amazing! Like seriously! Mikey S was our server and he was great, very personable. What was amazing was how fast everything came out, yet it came out fresh and steaming hot! The drinks were okay, not really strong but the flavors were okay. The food was great! The steamed oysters with boom sauce were so good! I also had the crafty crab special which came with 1/2lb of Dungeness crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, potato, and an egg for $29 - this was a great deal. I had this with the boom sauce, fire spice, the sauce was great, the "fire" wasn't really hot though.

Before ordering, I told my server that I am allergic to pork and requested that my seafood boil contain no pork. The server repeated my order back and confirmed "no pork." Despite that confirmation, I found sausage in my seafood boil after I had already started eating. I immediately stopped and notified the restaurant. The staff apologized, but I was disappointed that the seriousness of serving a disclosed allergen was not treated with more urgency. After eating part of the meal before discovering the sausage, I experienced diarrhea and abdominal pain that continued into the following day. I have contacted both Crafty Crab management and the local health department regarding this incident. I hope the restaurant takes this opportunity to improve communication between servers and the kitchen when customers disclose allergies.

The flounder and shrimp were fried to perfection--crispy on the outside, light and flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The sides were just as memorable. The collard greens were tender and full of flavor, and the mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and cheesy--exactly what you'd hope to find at a great church potluck. The restaurant has a quaint, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff couldn't have been sweeter. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy setting made for a fantastic meal. We'll definitely be back. I ordered the fried croaker sandwich and instead of french fries I subbed it for coleslaw and lemonade to wash it down with. The croaker was fried perfectly!! I haven't had fish fried for me like that in a while and it was delicious. I ate every bite! The coleslaw was freshly made, and the lemonade was sweet to taste. The inside is extremely spacious and very clean. The ambience was very comfy for me to eat my lunch. I will be back sooner than later and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!!

Here was our experience: Ambiance: Very cute old building in Cornelius. Charming set up. Good for a date night or a smaller dinner. 8.5/10 Service: Our server was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, perfectly attentive. 9/10 Drinks: I had a Jack 12 year for $24 (great price) and an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof for $18 (not bad). My wife had a cocktail which was great and lovely. Bartender was super friendly. 10/10 Appetizers: We ordered 4 oysters which were perfect, fresh and well accompanied by homemade crackers and sauces (10/10). Also, ordered the brussels sprouts which were solid but less spectacular than their description (8.5/10). Entree: This is the one area that was a disappointment. My wife and I shared the tuna with crispy potato salad. I was super adamant that we want the tuna seared/ as raw as possible. Neither my wife or I enjoy cooked tuna. We even joked with the server to just "threaten the tuna with flame" as opposed to cook it. When it came out, it was at least 50% cooked with a little bit of pink in the middle. My wife was super disappointed and this kinda ruined her experience. Maybe we should have sent it back but we ate it. 3/10 If the tuna was cooked correctly, I probably give it a 5 star because we really enjoyed it. But cooking the tuna wrong in a michelin star restaurant after how adamant we were is kind of a huge miss. Maybe we will give it another shot.
