I should have written a review sooner since there was a stretch recently when I was ordering from Poke Burrito 3-4 days a week when Uber Eats was running a BOGO offer. That was a great deal while it lasted. The fish and ingredients are all fresh. I knocked one star since in comparison to Poke Poke, Portion sizes are a little small and they have limited toppings in comparison. And I strongly recommend you get the burrito (to be fair, they DO give you a hint in the name). The burrito is overstuffed and well balanced, with the seaweed giving a vegetabley crunch to the whole thing. The bowl is... weird. I ordered half rice and half greens, and the greens were as follows: sad limp iceberg lettuce. My burrito's sauce was more sriracha than mayo, and the bowl's sauce was way more mayo than sriracha, almost to the point that it was ONLY mayo. That coupled with all the lettuce and mandarin oranges almost bumped it into Midwestern jello salad territory, and that's not a territory you want to be in. They do, however, give you a TON of fish. I found this place during a random lunch search and it's been my go-to place ever since! In fact, I had major cravings and I've eaten here about 6x in the past few weeks. Details: Poke Burrito has a DIY menu as well as standard pre-made bowls and "sushiritos" (which is essentially a giant sushi). I've had both and I definitely recommend the sushirito over the bowl since the bowl tends to be overpacked. In fact, I had to dump the bowl onto a plate since it was so dense and hard to mix. The DIY yourself is more fun (you can pick exactly what you like) but note that the sushirito can only be done in white rice. Ingredients: Poke Burrito has super fresh ingredients and a litany of fun choices. They have everything from onion to Japanese pickles to classic staples like edamame and seaweed salad. The awesome man who works during lunch will roll everything up into a giant roll and hands it to you on an unique plastic plate. It's completely customizable and delicious. Service: Service is fast and they pack your sushirito to-go in a bag with chopsticks, soy sauce packets and a fresh menu for easy ordering next time. It's like a giant uncut sushi roll so you know it's good. We came in around noon and was surprised to see there was only one other person there. I was instantly worried about the quality of the fish but found everything to be really good. I ordered the Jimmy's Creation which has a salmon and tuna along with a bunch of other tasty goodies. My friend order something very similar but I was surprised to see that mine was a lot larger than hers. The bottom portion of mine completely unraveled as there were no seaweed to cover it. It got kind of messy but because I read someone else's review, I was ready with my fork. I would absolutely come back here. While the price is a bit steep, I feel like the amount of food, at least what I got, justifies the cost. Just don't expect to completely hold up like an actual burrito. read more

This is one of those places where you have to get a pencil and mark off on a sheet what you want included in your bowl or burrito. I didn't really feel like figuring out what to include on my burrito so she told me she loves the Jimmys Creation Burrito which includes quite a few ingredients. This burrito includes the following: Salmon, tuna, avocado, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad, green onion, sweet onion, crunch onion, tobiko, pineapple, sesame seed, mandarin orange and ginger with house jimmy's special sauce. While I kind of enjoyed the taste, the damn thing exploded as soon as I took it out of the wrapper. I sat there thinking I should have just gotten the bowl...next time I will. Also this thing was huge so I would recommend you bring your appetite if you are dining solo or share it if you are coming as a duo. Poke Burrito is a nice little low-key lunch spot that serves delicious poke options quickly and by a friendly staff. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by the manager (owner?) who was patient while I surveyed the menu. Finally settling upon something he quickly took my order and began to make my lunch. I had take out but my bowl still tasted fresh and cool when I returned to the office. The large bowl is pretty sizable and all of the ingredients looked and tasted fresh and delicious. There are a handful of house-made bowl options and I went with one of those, figuring I'd leave it to the pros. Let me tell you, they did a wonderful job. Of course, given that it's poke, the prices are going to be a bit higher than one would normally like to spend for lunch. However, you have to treat yo'self every now and then! And what better way that delicious poke?! Based on price and price alone I cannot have this spot in my normal rotation. But In times when I need something special I know I'm running back! I was a bit skeptical to try a burrito with raw fish inside, however, to my surprise I was not disappointed. I ended up ordering the spicy tuna burrito wrapped in a seaweed. Although the burrito was a bit on the pricy side it was well worth it. The food had came out within 5-10 minutes. I ended up getting a side of spicy mayo(my favorite). They have lots of ideal poke toppings and, my absolute favorite part is that they don't treat the crunchy last toppings (crunchy onion, garlic, furikake, sesame seeds, etc) as if they sourced them from the top of Mount Himalaya in the middle of a nor'easter without a coat and no socks on. HOLY!!!!! This place... WOW. I got 2 large make your own bowls ($14). It's quite pricey but they give you 3 meats to choose, any toppings, sauces and add-ons. AND the bowl is soo good. The fish is tasty and fresh. The toppings add so much better flavor to the bowl. One thing that is unique is that they put the sauce at the bottom of the bowl instead of drizzling it on top. I'm not against it. It is harder to get to it but you get to taste the fresh ingredients without it being soaked in sauce. It was amazing. It was so easy to order Poke Burrito via the yelp app! My order was ready in half the quoted time and it was already paid for, so I was literally in and out in under a minute. For about $10 you can get a prepared poke bowl or customize your own! My only complaint is that the bowl was much smaller than expected.
