Large Built Your Own Poke Bowl

Pretty standard poke - only have large poke bowl with 3 scoops of protein ($15.95)! Love that avocado, seaweed salad, and tobiko were included. All toppings are unlimited, which is so rare in this economy! The house poke sauce has wasabi in it, which I'm not the biggest fan of. Salmon was more fresh and melt in your mouth than tuna. The bowls came out super fast, and you order off a kiosk. The interior has a few tables and chairs, though it mostly feels to be a take out joint.

We tried this via third party delivery for the first time and I'm so sad it took us so long! We typically order poke from another spot, but a good friend told us she prefers this so we gave it a shot. Everything was fresh, generous portions and really tasty! I especially loved the spicy tuna they offer. I asked for a special request on the order notes and they were kind enough to do that. This place is a gem - we will definitely be back!

We were looking for lunch options and found Poke Burrito. It's a shame we didn't find it sooner, but we'll definitely be back! We both got poke bowls, and they were delicious! So many options to choose from, not only delicious, fresh and filling but affordable too! The portion was large and l left stuffed! I highly recommend if you like sushi/ poke bowls. I will definitely be back!

I should have written a review sooner since there was a stretch recently when I was ordering from Poke Burrito 3-4 days a week when Uber Eats was running a BOGO offer. That was a great deal while it lasted. The fish and ingredients are all fresh. I knocked one star since in comparison to Poke Poke, Portion sizes are a little small and they have limited toppings in comparison. Base options are only limited to white rice, brown rice, and greens. I would call this a no frill poke spot with fresh ingredients and readable prices.

A quick fast casual sushi burrito place with quick service and some pretty good tasting ingredients. I left here still feeling a bit hungry and wanting a bit more, but overall if you're in the South Loop area and need a quick bite and am craving some poke--this place will be good for its speediness for a decent deal.

A story about brown rice. My friend and I were very hungry after spending 2.5 hours riding bikes around the city. We agreed that we both wanted a healthy, nutritious meal. Poke was perfect option. We searched for places on the map and came across Poke Burrito. It looked good on the picture, so we decided to order from them. I put veggies on my plate and my friend chose brown rice. When we picked up the food, we walked to the park and enjoyed it sitting on the grass. Everything was delicious, hearty, and fresh, but... the rice was supposed to be BROWN.

Very fresh and flavorful. I had my bowl delivered and it was to my liking and I'm sure it will be to yours as well. I can't wait to try the burrito!

I ordered delivery from Uber Eats. I really wanted a poke bowl that had avocado as well. I was so excited when I ordered it. However, be aware that they do not follow instructions on Uber Eats. It said it had shoyu honey wasabi poke sauce. I don't know what that is, but I know I'm VERY picky about sauces. I HATE basically every white sauce. So I specifically asked for no sauce. It was all in and weaved throughout the entire bowl. $24.10 for a bowl I couldn't eat...

It takes a lot for me to write a review but WOW! I love Poke, have had it all over the country and this place was a 10/10! So many choices, so fast, so fresh! Amazing quality ingredients. I will be back every time I'm in Chicago! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Came here because I wanted to try a poke burrito for the first time. It was honestly rather expensive and not that worth. IMO the poke burrito is a cool concept, but practically, it's not very convenient to eat, as it falls apart easily, and you don't get an even distribution of the ingredients like you do with a poke bowl or sushi roll. While the first couple of bites were delicious, diminishing marginal utility quickly hit and I was struggling to choke down the last couple of bites.

I found this place during a random lunch search and it's been my go-to place ever since! In fact, I had major cravings and I've eaten here about 6x in the past few weeks. Details: Poke Burrito has a DIY menu as well as standard pre-made bowls and "sushiritos" (which is essentially a giant sushi). I've had both and I definitely recommend the sushirito over the bowl since the bowl tends to be overpacked. In fact, I had to dump the bowl onto a plate since it was so dense and hard to mix. The DIY yourself is more fun (you can pick exactly what you like) but note that the sushirito can only be done in white rice. Ingredients: Poke Burrito has super fresh ingredients and a litany of fun choices. They have everything from onion to Japanese pickles to classic staples like edamame and seaweed salad. The awesome man who works during lunch will roll everything up into a giant roll and hands it to you on an unique plastic plate. It's completely customizable and delicious. Service: Service is fast and they pack your sushirito to-go in a bag with chopsticks, soy sauce packets and a fresh menu for easy ordering next time. Make sure to ask for the frequent punch card. 9 sushiritos= 1 free sushirito! Poke Burrito is the yummiest place for lunch in the South Loop and I'll definitely be back soon!

Jimmy's creation- delicious although it did not hold up its shape

It's like a giant uncut sushi roll so you know it's good. We came in around noon and was surprised to see there was only one other person there. I was instantly worried about the quality of the fish but found everything to be really good. I ordered the Jimmy's Creation which has a salmon and tuna along with a bunch of other tasty goodies. My friend order something very similar but I was surprised to see that mine was a lot larger than hers. The bottom portion of mine completely unraveled as there were no seaweed to cover it. It got kind of messy but because I read someone else's review, I was ready with my fork. I would absolutely come back here. While the price is a bit steep, I feel like the amount of food, at least what I got, justifies the cost. Just don't expect to completely hold up like an actual burrito.

It opened as a…read morepartnership between Miami Beach's iconic Joe's Stone Crab and Lettuce Entertain You, bringing South Florida to Grand and Rush. I first went when it was still a huge, buzzy Chicago spot, and one of my most memorable dinners came after my high school graduation in 2003. I even got a speeding ticket on Lake Shore Drive with my grandmother in the back seat on the way to dinner, which still makes me laugh. Chicago was an especially fun place for Joe's to arrive. Open outcry trading was still a force, and the wealth creation around it was wild: people who had dropped out of high school could become millionaires in their twenties, while math PhDs from the University of Chicago could make fortunes in the same ecosystem. It was a golden era for hustle culture, when commerce idolized Tony Montana in a way that today is more likely to idolize Jamie Dimon or David Solomon. Death Row and Bad Boy ruled the airwaves, while Michael, Shaq, Kobe, and Allen Iverson defined the NBA. Basketball was so dominant in Chicago culture during my coming of age that I still map other things, including restaurants, to NBA teams. Joe's felt like the Miami Heat coming to Chicago in much the same way Smith & Wollensky represented the New York Knicks: each brought a recognizable piece of its hometown culture into another major city. Joe's brought real South Florida sizzle to Chicago, and it landed at exactly the right moment. Going there felt like an occasion. Florida took longer for me to understand in full. My family has roots in the state going back decades, farther north along the Atlantic coast, and I didn't visit Miami until March 2007, when my sister started graduate school in Coral Gables. That trip began my love affair with Miami and helped me understand why the original Joe's was such an institution. A close family friend's father spent time around Miami in the 1960s and 1970s. He knew local fishermen who caught stone crabs, which gave me an appreciation for the older South Florida culture around the food, separate from Joe's own history. Another Joe's memory captures an entirely different moment. Looking through my OpenTable history, my July 31, 2008 reservation at Joe's in Chicago is the earliest reservation I can find at a restaurant that is still open today. I was 23, working at UBS, preparing to move to New York while the firm was already on fire from its mortgage losses, and Lehman would file for bankruptcy just weeks later. I was broke but wildly aspirational, dreaming about dinners at Balthazar, begging my way past the doors at Cain and Tenjune, hoping to drink for free, and trying to meet women comically far out of my league. Through all of those memories, the restaurant itself has been remarkably consistent. The stone crab claws are incredible, the seafood is excellent, and Joe's holds its own among Chicago's serious steakhouses. The room has traditionally felt a little more formal than Miami, with bow ties, polished service, and a darker old-school steakhouse rhythm, while still being genuinely welcoming. Finish with the key lime pie. Years later, my wife and I held our wedding reception at RPM Seafood, another Lettuce restaurant, then ate at the original Joe's during our honeymoon in Miami during COVID days later, which felt like a fitting circle back. In sheer range of venues, repeatability of quality and atmosphere, and consistency of hits, Lettuce is the gold standard in Chicago, with some of that same reach in Vegas and DC. I've been extraordinarily privileged in my exposure to hospitality, and I still repeatedly admire Rich Melman's model, taste, and execution, now carried forward by the next generation of the family. Joe's is a prime example: world-class, durable, unmistakably Chicago, and absolutely somewhere I want to return next time I'm in town with some dough to spend. While Joe's may not be French, this place still earns my highest marks: très bien!

It's the same concept as Boiling Crab or Kickin Crab in California. It is BYOB! So I walked across the street to Target, got some Seltzers and brought them to our table. This is prob the one thing that I love the most. Great service. The seafood boil is pretty good. They give you a bib and gloves to keep you relatively clean. You have to use your hands to eat your food and work for it. Go for the seafood Cajun sauce (garlic, butter, lemon pepper). It was super good flavor. Mild is the way to go. We asked for spicy sauce on the side for an extra dollar. I would skip the preset family meals. Order 1-2 lbs of your favorite seafood. They have prices per lb on the large chalk board. The shrimp, crawfish was cooked well. The crab legs were boiled before cooked, so the shell was soft and easy to cut with scissors. Next time, I'd get the shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels. The family feast ($145)- came with king crab, snow crab, option of 2 from shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams. Also, a scoop of rice, green beans, garlic noodles, and fries. Our server let us know right away that they were short staffed in the kitchen and therefore orders were taking 45 minutes to an hour to come out. Not a problem, we understand and ordered some apps to get us by. The food is why I'm giving it 3 starts. We ordered the calamari, which was soooo overcooked it was tough and chewy, I couldn't even swallow it. We ordered the cajun fries too and they were okay. My partner and I both ordered king crab legs with the house cajun sauce. Let me just say the sauce itself was amazing! Super delicious and tasty, not too salty, very flavorful. But both of our king crab legs were way overcooked, to the point where the meat seemed shrunk, it was very firm and rubbery/gummy. Unfortunately for paying such a high price for 1lb, this was extremely disappointing. Being that 3 seperate dishes were overcooked, I personally wouldn't return for this reason alone. Very disappointed but I feel like this issue can easily be fixed! Hoping to return one day because the flavors were definitely there, but unfortunately not anytime soon.
