Pretty good spot with a variety of options to eat. It's a small place with very limited seats. The service is quick and simple. The food was pretty good and filling! I would definitely try it again!

Currently reigning as my favorite spot for poke/sushi esque food! Every time I order the quality is consistent and soooo yummy. Can't say much about service but the vibe is cute. It's in a small food hall which would be great for late night hang outs & remote working. Always get the gyoza!!!!

Tuna avocado donut - Tuna tender - avocado not bruised - sushi rice - perfectly balanced acid and sweet, just sooo much rice, too little furikake, luckily it was flavorful rice so I finished it - sauce: sriracha mayo and eel sauce Overall better than expected

This has been our go to spot for almost 5 years! Tucked in the cute and cozy food stalls of EAV so happy to see them outlive the pandemic. The sushi burritos are great to share and just such a genius idea! The nachos are also good, sushi donuts. Everything is always fresh and made for order. Super friendly staff, very easy to order and pick up. A poke burri Stan

Poke Omega Salmon Bowl -- normally I do custom, but thought I'd give a bowl a chance. This was sooooo good.

Literally the best poke bowl I've ever had. And I've had many. Heard about this place when I moved to Atlanta three years ago. But I didn't go until today. Amazing.

This is my favorite place & I'll leave a review everyday if I have to lol.. The Brussels are phenomenal.they are flash fried and then they drizzle or mix them with a sauce that compliments it so well. I always always get the Sushi nachos with extra chips & a scoop of crab meat! The sushi burritos are good but I literally haven't had one since the first time I had it because the nachos have me in a Chokehold!

Service was quick, friendly and helpful. This was my first and definitely not my last time having a burrito style roll. Although it wasn't packed inside, I would recommend ordering before getting there just in case it's busy inside, as there isn't a ton of room to sit, which also gives a neat little vibe.

My first time at this location of Poke Burri was for a Yelp event and I finally came back to try some of the other menu items. The location is small with limited communal seating so takeout may be your best bet in most busy meal situations. You can take your pick of restaurants to choose from, or even order something from each shop. We decided to share the sushi burritos, of which I believe Poke Burri does best in Atlanta. My favorite is the Demogorgon Roll, but I also wanted to try something new so I tried the Kungfu-rrito, which has both fresh salmon and tuna sashimi inside. While I prefer slices of sashimi, in my sushi burrito, I prefer the Demogorgon's spicy tuna. The flavors also just worked better. Usually I don't order drinks at restaurants, but we were tempted by the dragonfruit lemonade. Tart and sweet and delicious, with chunks of red dragonfruit floating on top. If they have it, make sure to order it! Poke Burri also has some crazy stuff like the sushi pizza or donut, but I really just don't think you could go wrong with their sushi burritos!

Poke Burri is located in a food marked called We Suki Suki in East Atlanta Village, along with many other establishments. This Poke spot does not have so many items on their menu, but so iconic, unique, and yummy! They have poke bowls, burrito rolls, and sushi donuts. I tried two different burrito rolls: - Demogorgon ($11): spicy tuna, lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, eel sauce, spicy mayo, tempura flakes. -E.A.V Special($11): Shrimp tempura, crab salad, spring mix, carrots, cucumbers, eel salad, sriracha. This place does not have many seating available so I suggest you take it to go. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Give it a try!

Tuna nachos

OMG ! The food here is so freaking good. Hubby and I couldn't decide between sushi or ramen, so we did both with food from Poke and Lifting noodle. The brussel sprouts arr to die for, crisp, soft, spicy, and sweet. The tuna nachos were a bargain with 2 heaping mounds of spicy sushi tuna atop wonton chips. I could eat the nachos every day. The service was so quick and courteous. Cool vibe, very laid back. Love this place, I'll be back for sure.

Salmon sushi donut.

Flavor wise, they've absolutely hit spot on. Anything flavored "spicy" tastes just about the same, but you can definitely tell they season their fish so well! The fish they have here is fresh too! Our ultimate favorite would definitely have had to be the salmon sushi donut! Rice, fish, and presentation all deserves a five star. The tuna one tasted good as well, but the salmon one just hit the spot for us. Nachos were made from fried wonton wrappers, topped with spicy tuna, and some eel sauce. Once again, they really do know how to season their fish! Burrito tasted about the same as the nachos, but we'd definitely come back for more of salmon stuff instead. Only thing I'd comment is about the space - which is slightly packed, but it reminds me of the hawker centres I used to go to back in Malaysia! But even if I was a little concerned about space, I'd definitely still come back for the food.

Nisha P.

Went to Poke Burri this past saturday and got the Poke Bowl and tokoyo fries! For the poke bowl I thought the fish was super fresh and i loved the seaweed mixed in the bowl! The Tokoyo fries were seasoned so well and loved the spicy mayo on it! They paired so well together! For covid, you cant eat in the restaurant, They have a way to order there but i recommend ordering ahead of time so you can just pick it up since the space is very small for people to wait comfortably! But i recommend trying it out and you can have a poke picnic like my friends and I did!

Tuna bowl. Was delicious as well.
Nick A.

One of my favorite spots in Atlanta! Sure, the food makes you smack your lips in anticipation, but the creativity of it all inspires. I tip my hat to the owner and the chefs for breaking new ground and trying new things. You don't see this in our era of weak sauce chain restaurants. Atlanta's landlocked. How in the world do they get fish this fresh at this spot?! You can easily miss this place as they share their space with multiple other restaurants in a "Pop-up" "Food Labish" type of environment. I got the salmon burrito-like wrap and MAN was it good. I can't wait to come back and try this place again. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!

Do they have fresh crab meat or imitation crab meat?

Imitation, but believe me, you won't care. It's good.

Are the sushi donuts, burritos, and pizza on their menu year-round or is it seasonal?

I know the donuts and burritos are year round. Can't say I've ever ordered or noticed the pizza

Are the sushi donuts gluten free?

Generally not but the option is available if you ask.

Definitely a winner, salmon was very fresh and serving was very big. Also got an ochazuke which was refreshing and flavorful! Tasted kinda like a more savory genmaicha with salmon inside. I already come here pretty often and will definitely be adding the salmon bowl into my rotation. I think it's better than the one at shoya, and with a much better wait.

If you are close to Buford Hwy you should try this place. They have parking for a few cars right in front, a smallish restaurant inside with a full sushi bar. Their menu is pretty comprehensive and includes fried rice, noodles, sushi rolls, sashimi, soups etc. As we were a large group we ordered a bunch of things. Most of the entrees are served with a salad and soup making it quite the meal. We ordered the sashimi appetizer, the pork gyoza, shrimp shumai, omelette, combination fried rice, B-52 roll, sunrise roll, crunchy roll I think. Sashimi was fresh - yellowtail, tuna, salmon. The gyoza was delicious and table favorite Honestly, I even enjoyed the pork belly omelette. So flavorful... The fried rice was cooked well but was missing some seasoning/salt. Otherwise good. The rolls were great and we selected ones that had some spice. My favorite was the sunrise roll - a little crunchy inside yet with a slight kick. The staff felt a little overwhelmed with our group but they were polite and helpful. Food was prices reasonably and worth it (for the portion sizes).

That said, locals recommended it, and I usually love sushi as a post-flight meal since it's light and fresh. The ambiance is dreamy, and I really appreciated the attentive service and bar seating. I ordered an avocado ball with caviar and spicy tuna, which was lovely and beautifully plated. I'd also seen a foodie Instagrammer mention their off-menu crispy rice rolls, so I gave those a try. Unfortunately, they fell a bit flat for me. I ended up adding a lot of soy sauce since they sincerely lacked flavor. When the bill came, I realized this probably wasn't the best choice for a quick, light meal. The prices were comparable to California, but the quality didn't quite match. That said, the person sitting next to me mentioned she visits often and felt that the night was a bit off, so I'd be open to giving it another try next time I'm in town.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. Dinner ended with a small sorbet as dessert and my mom and I were both stuffed. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion :)

The 15-course menu was a masterpiece from start to finish. Each piece felt like art -- stunning presentation followed by incredible flavor. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. Service? Excellent. Ambiance? Relaxed and enjoyable. Food? Oh...MAN. Wow…read more.. I came here about 8 years ago with the same family members +1 family friend and we enjoyed dinner then, but it truly didn't compare to this visit. Previously, I had Kang Nam slated as an overpriced, but decent sushi place that serves meals on a more robust scale if you're dining with a party. However, the sushi back then was somewhat underwhelming. Last night, we had a phenomenal set. Hamachi, Otoro, Unagi, Ebi, and more! Every piece was delicately balanced and beautifully arranged. Honestly, I wasn't really expecting too much going in- and I'd only chosen Kang Nam as a place where I could get some decent sushi while my family got something else entirely. My mom had Don Katsu (served with a small dish of Japanese style curry sauce). My uncle got the Tempura Udon, of which they served the tempura shrimp on the side in a bed of tempura flakes. This is kind of genius, because you can make the decision on when you want to dip in your tempura instead of them bringing it and you have to down the tempura fast in order to still have it be crunchy... NOT HERE! It stays crunchy since they serve it separately. Love that. We had refillable banchan: kimchi, king oyster mushrooms, and glass noodles- all of which were delicious. We all received bowls of deliciously simple miso soup and we ordered a set of fried dumplings. Everything was great! That is...until the sushi came out. Wow. Presentation: 10/10. Flavor? 10/10. Portion-size: TEN OUT OF TEN, Y'ALL. The sushi rice was fantastic and they didn't use too much like a lot of places do with their nigiri. The toppings were functionally decorative. The sweet shrimp was especially pretty with two different colors of roe on top. The yellowtail didn't need the toppings it had- green onion and fish/squid flakes(?)- in my opinion, but they added a dimension of texture to the initial bite and a hint of flavor to the finish. The fish was perfect in every way: not too thick, no too thin, overlapping the rice by double to allow for perfect soy sauce dips without soaking the rice, and I just CAN NOT EXPLAIN how good each piece was... The sushi rolls were so delicious and every bite had wonderful textures and flavors, but my absolute favorite roll was the one with the smoked tuna on top- WOW! Absolutely stunned. Never - EVER - have I actually tasted the smoke flavor so clearly and completely. I am a HUGE fan of that one and I can't even remember the name of it...it's in the picture on the plate behind the sweet shrimp. The eel nigiri was also a highlight for me- as it's one of my favorite pieces of sushi, I always order several pieces. I was happily surprised to see they were nearly twice the size I get at other restaurants. Hands-down, the best otoro (fatty tuna) I've had in Atlanta. The sushi chef here also believes in giving special service by preparing some extra pieces for the customers as well. I only ordered one set of otoro, but next time....oh my...my bill is gonna hurt next time. Each 2-piece set of otoro is set at $17, so...yeah... It's going to be SO WORTH IT though. I will 10000% be back- soon. I might just get some Otoro, Hamachi, and one of those smoked tuna rolls...man. SO. RIDICULOUSLY. GOOD. Get in there if you haven't been in a while. Trust me!
