Okay to start it all of I walked in on a semi busy day but not that bad and took at least 20 mins to get seated yet i could see ready tables from where i was standing and no one was in front of me. I sat down and ordered...waited for 2 hours. Now i asked where the food was and the waiter said he would "see what was wrong". Turns out he never put my order in. This wouldn't have been to bad if he'd actually come to my fricken table and refill my drink... but no. I ask for the owner or manager and says "I'll go find him". He/She never comes. My food comes cold and undercooked after another 30 mins of waiting. I power through and eat the shit. Now to get the taste of crap out of my mouth I wanted to order desert. Guess the waiter just wanted a horrible tip and just brings me the check. I simply paid the check leave the waiter the loose change in my pocket and got the fuck out of there. read more

I had stopped dining at this restaurant years ago due to the service. There were 9 other patrons in the restaurant tonight, 2 other servers and yet there were very prolonged periods of our server missing. First and most importantly check the Breeze's venue before you go. If there is going to be a reunion, a dance and an anniversary party - stay away as your service will be horribly slow as the kitchen and wait staff struggle to keep up as was our case for over 3 hours for a meal that should have taken much less time.We were blessed by our great view from the deck which saves this place. Our group selected a variety of items which looked as if they'd been prepared in a hurried state, although they proved tasty. Some portions were oddly large for things like scallops and small for things like French fries. I might consider returning to have a drink with a lunch snack just for the view but maybe only on a quiet week day. read more

The food and the view is great. However, the service here is incredibly slow. We had a reservation for 6:30 and we waiting in the lobby until 6:45 before there was anyone at the desk to check in with. We waited a few more minutes for our table once we checked in. We were promptly greeted at the table and our order was taken. We ordered an appetizer which took about 20 minutes and then our salads took 45 minutes from the time we ordered them. Then we waited another 45 minutes for our food. People who were seated after us got their food before us and the restaurant was not that busy.! By the time we left it was 8:50. Today my fiancé and I wanted to go out and celebrate our engagement at a restaurant. Being new the area we thought this would be a nice place to enjoy some food and drinks on the water. We walked into the waiting area to be seated and were greeted by the smell of urine and bleach which was surprisingly more pleasant than the hostess. We were told it was going to be a 10 minute wait, which was fine, as she said we could wait over by the bar until the table was available. After 30 minutes of waiting, and watching other parties being seated who came in after us, we went back up to check on the status of our table. It was clear they forgot about us and told us it would be another 10 minutes. The bar tender, who was aware we were waiting to be seated, did her best to make it happen by offering to clear and wipe down a table for us. The bar tender was the only saving grace of this restaurant. We went back up after another 15 minutes and the hostess told us the 10 minutes she originally quoted us was true at the time. But after watching 3 other parties getting seated before us who came after us, we decided to cut our losses and go somewhere else. read more

You should NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER rent this place for a wedding or anything else. Wedding planner/owner to busy to help Bride during the rehearsal and wedding. Bride was told the restaurant would be closed during the wedding, but the deck was open and the bride had to walk on the deck to get to the ceremony area. Staff became frustrated when bridal party complained and service suffered. Guest at the wedding had to wait longer to eat because they were serving the customers on the deck. Staff were telling customers they were sorry about the wedding and to just ignore it. I had to ask the waitress why wedding guest weren't served cake I was told because they weren't sitting at there tables. I then asked her to put on the table outside of the wedding area and had to ask them to put the coffee on the table. After this staff put the heat up to 80 !!!!! So sorry that my niece had to deal with this on the most important day of her life. read more

My parents came here for their wedding reception, and they took us kids there just to see it. They thought that the place was fun, and they had a good time, but the food wasn't that great. At my experience, I had amazing food, and that is probably the only thing that would propel me to come back. I had the scallops and shrimp alfredo and I thought it was very good. The thing I had a problem with was the slow service and the waitress. She was impolite and impudent. She seemed annoyed when one of the people in our group couldn't decide what they wanted, and just wasn't very nice on general. The service was also slow. It was crowded, but we waited at least 45-50 minutes for our food. I don't know if I would come back to this restaraunt, but since my parents had their reception there, we consider it a pretty special place read more

Went today for a banquet. The food was good but overall the service was lacking. Our group had the whole room and we were told to sit anywhere, we did and were told five minutes later by the hostess that the table was reserved. We had to move to another table and guess what the "reserved" table sat empty the entire time. The food was buffet style and they were not on top of what was running out. They also did not have enough utensils for what they had out. I have been before for dinner and had horrible service and mediocre food. This visit solidified why it had been two years since I had gone. If you are looking for a good meal and good service I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here for years! Over the past year or so, the restaurant has made some changes: wait times for food and drinks have significantly decreased!! My last visit was on Saturday July 11th. While it took our server over ten minutes to come over to greet us and she didn't tell us the specials, everything else was on point. The salad course was so tasty with the house made apple vinaigrette; also ordered was a Caesar salad and a cup of New England clam chowder, yum! For our entrée course, I got the shrimp scampi over penne (so so so flavorful and always enough for lunch the next day); my two guests ordered the lazy lobster casserole (she commented that there was too much sherry but she cleaned the plate!) and the beef tips ("excellent"; the plate was also cleaned). The house made cheesecake is delicious but I would like different toppings other than just chocolate syrup or strawberries in syrup. I love coming here and taking in the scenery and sometimes get lucky enough to watch a wedding. I will always recommend Point Breeze, Webster's hidden gem! read more

The food is mediocre It could be a little better. The service Is terrible! If you are looking to get you food quicly and get in and out fast this not the place to go. My wife and I went to the last three oldies party with the WORC-FM DJ. Dancing was great, wind was great (Greg Norman Chard), food was okay, service stunk. Three times ago it took almost 2 hrs to eat after arriving...I didn't really want to get drunk. Second time, it took an hour, last tim (March 19) it took an hour and the poor waiter (who could have lost 50 lbs to move faster) didn't seem to know how to wait on tables (emergency fill-in???) resulting in disaster!!! I said to him, "doesn't management know when you have a free oldies dance party that there will be a HUGE CROWD?" He said, yep, but this is the way it is. I sort of miss the way it used to look in the lounge area with the old black and white photos from back when they first opened. But, the renovations are very nice, cozy, and modern. I prefer to sit outside on the big deck overlooking the lake on a nice summer day (watch out for bees!) the reason I gave it 3 stars is they need a menu overhaul. It's been the same menu for ever and ever! They should add some new exciting things to it! Over all the food is ok, nothing to rave about but its good all the same. On April 2 my husband and I attended a a get together with a square dance group we belonged to. Everyone ordered their meal etc and the cost......$25.00 per person (no drinks). Our time together was wonderful but the food?????? Not so much. Our steak was so tough we couldn't eat it. So for $50.00 bucks we eat our salad and our apple crisp. Hugh rip off. I live on the lake and have been going here for years....The staff and service is always excellent and very friendly. This restaurant/bar has always been my favorite place on the lake. I fill my boat at the gas station every week and frequent the restaurant just as much if not more. After seeing first hand how the new owner talks to and treats his staff I will never return to this place. Yelling at your wonderful staff in the middle of a wedding/wine tasting/full restaurant and bar is completely disrespectful and unprofessional to not only the customers but your friendly staff as well. quite probably the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. I was dining with 8 others at a birthday celebration or I would have left.- and I have NEVER, ever, left a restaurant. To start off my wine glass was dirty - not just a spot - a gross thing hanging on the rim. - Okay those things happen. Not a good start but forgiveable. The glass was replaced without a fuss. We ordered. Two and a half hours later we got our food. Okay sometimes things take a little longer than we want. But 2 and a half hours? One member of our party actually had to leave for an appointment. Did the order come all together - no. The birthday guest's entree was delayed. My vegetable (just mashed potatoes) was cold (not warm or cool, cold), my order was not the only one to arrive cold, additionally the guest across from me had ordered onion rings - they didn't show up. Another guest had ordered chicken - inedible. too tough to eat. To the restaurant's credit they offered - without my request, a discount on the bill. Frankly, even if the meal had been free I couldn't have given this restaurant a good rating (wish I could have given it zero stars). I did speak to the manager after the meal. She thought I wanted a bigger discount - not at all, I just wanted to tell her that they needed to improve, a LOT. I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

We pull up to the provided boat docks and walk up always dressed appropriately and usually with a few friends ready to spend money. Very nice setting, on Webster Lake, but the three previous times we visited we found the service very slow while the meals were at least acceptable. This last time (and it will be the last time) we waited an hour & a quarter for the food, which arrived tepid to cold. We wanted to send it back for warming, but the waitress disappeared for the next half hour. Went here for a paint nite and decided to eat. Presentation of the place is beautiful, menu was appealing, prices were ok. Was served cold slices of bread as we waited to order. Ordered a Shrimp Scampi with Fetuccini, very large portions, the food looked great...and.........then it all went down hill. Food was absolutely tasteless. Shrimp was large which would have been great if it still didnt have shrimp poop in it! Totally lost my appetite. I had replacement shrimp come out and took the rest to take home to try and season it up myself. I go to eat the shrimp and guess what? STILL had poop dangling off the side and inside of the shrimp. Waitress seemed a little taken aback and annoyed when I mentioned my shrimp was dirty and requested new ones. Just plain nasty. Would never ever ever EVER go back there. Went out with a group of 9 where we got a table at the bar. Once our whole party arrived a waitress came by and took drink orders. Sadly there was no drink menu. My husband and I ordered two craft beers which came in 20 ounce glasses, not an industry standard. A beer on draught should come in a pint glass with the option to upgrade for an upcharge. It would be nice to be asked. After we got our drinks the server took a food order and she never returned. Someone else ran our food, and no one came back to check in. All of the other tables around us were being taken care of. I got the impression they take care of their regulars. After we finished our drinks we all went up to the bar to get served seeing as we were completely forgotten. Empty plates and glasses yet no one would come to our table. When my husband got our second beers, the bartender who was our original waitress gave him an attitude. About 40 minutes after finishing our second round we finally flagged down a waitress to get our check. Twenty minutes later we got it much to our dismay we were paying around $8 for a draught beer. I would have questioned the amount owed if there was anyone actually taking care of us. Dinner and two drinks should not take two and a half hours. Point Breeze needs to get a drink menu, a POS system and better service. Quite frankly I think without those things for all I know I'm paying whatever the bartender wants to charge me for a drink. All in all the food doesn't matter. I can have a good meal but its moot when bad service outshines it. I will never understand how we were ignored so blatantly The business lost out on dessert orders and another round of drinks for nine people! Needless to say, I will never return. read more

I had my wedding there on 5/5/18. When we booked we were told that the restaurant would be shut down by 3:00pm and that there would be no tables on the deck. This was all a lie! There were over 100 people at the restaurant and they were seating people on the deck. There were random people at my wedding. Not only this but not one person helped us with the rehearsal, we had to fend for ourselves and were told the day of the wedding what we had practiced was not right. This place is beautiful and the food is delicious. I wish that I could have given them 5 stars but I felt like myself and my 178 guests were treated like an inconvenience instead of a priority. My guest waited over an hour for their food because the wait staff was also serving diner to other patrons. We had to wait for drinks, and they turned the heat on hell. Myself and numerous guests here the staff apologizing to other people to "not mind the wedding". This was so unprofessional and unbelievable. We had people drinking the coffee that was put out for my wedding guest and people helping themselves to the baskets in the bathroom. This is not something any bride should have to deal with on her wedding day. The thing that has me the most upset is that someone from the venue told my videographer that I did not want the drone flying during the ceremony. I hired this videographer purely for this reason. I will never be able to get that footage back. If we were informed that we would have random people attending our wedding we would have NEVER booked with Point Breeze. From my point of view it was pure greediness and instead of focusing on the 180 guests they had for my wedding, they were more worried about the other patrons and making money off of them as well. read more

We stood in the front area near the hostess for about 15 minutes before she even greeted or acknowledged us. Once we checked in with her and gave our name, we went over to the bar while we awaited our table. It took about seven minutes to have our drink order taken. We finally got seated about 45 minutes after arrival. We ordered appetizers and would have liked to have had salt, pepper and ketchup with them but we were finished our appetizers before the waiter came back to check on us. After waiting about another 45 minutes we still had not received our salads. We had to go over and ask the waiter about them and he had forgotten to bring them to us. A minute later he came to our table to let us know that our food was up so we told him we would just take our salads to go. I had ordered my steak well done and it was still bloody in the middle. Overall the food was not that great at all especially for the price. We were there over two and a half hours. Once we got home, we opened our salads and there was not any dressing with either o them. read more

If you want to have an incredibly stressful wedding planning experience, point breeze should be your first choice. Half my guests didn't get salads, half got their vegetables after they were done eating, some guests were given cold play doh like mashed potatoes because they ran out of what we ordered (even though we paid in advance) and cake was served with dirty dinner plates on the table. We paid $5 per person (plus tax, tip, and a linen fee) for passed hourderves -- only 4 out of 10 tables were offered them, they were brought out late and my bridal party was never served. They had two weddings happening simultaneously and we assured by the owner that we would not here a sound from the other event ... We heard everything. Their music was blaring during our toasts, we shared a bathroom with them (2 stalls) after being told we would not be. Both myself and my DJ were assured there was plenty of outlets to do up lighting -- there are two outlets in the whole room. The owner was rude, his vague email responses Made it nearly impossible to plan the wedding I wanted, I had to change seating charts, flowers and my timeline 6 days before my wedding because of new information given to me when I went in to pay. i went to a wedding this past weekend and it was the worst wedding ive ever been too. the out side was right in the sun (HOT SUN) with no cover at all. the hall was so hot some of the guest had to leave they were sick from it (not what you want at your wedding) the bride had swet pouring down her face the hole time. the staf only severed half the room byr time they got to the other side the food was gone and they would start yet again on the other side instead of were they stopped. the main dinner was dry and not good. 6/10/13 It's been at least 15 year since my last experience at Point Breeze. Tonight reminded me why I haven't been back. It's unlikely I would ever go again. We had reservations for 3 at 6:30 p.m. made a week earlier. There was a special concert going on in an adjoining room and the restaurant was chaos. We were there specifically to see a young family member, a participant in the concert. In line for a half hour, behind at last 20 people, and ahead of at least another 20 more. At no time did anyone ask us to check in for our reservation. By 7:00 p.m. I finally made a stink. Not one waitress could answer any questions, and when asked to see the manager, she made a 5 second appearance ten minutes later and only said "you'll just have to wait". Never made eye contact, never introduced herself, never apologized. We finally gave our name and somehow, they never even had our reservation. We were left standing from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. when they finally offered us a table. No apology ever offered. Why would anyone want to ever go there is beyond me. The only reason I give one star is for the view of the lake. My advice - don't waste your time going there. read more
