I have been to this location over the years when it was another restaurant, so I was really pleased to see the interior. It was remodeled, clean, crisp, relaxing and unpretentious. Staff busily moving around and actually smiling. The bar is big enough to seat quite a few people. We were seated at our table, and our server was friendly and helpful. The menu is mouthwatering; I could have ordered a few different things but settled on the Baked Haddock. It was delicious. We also had a Caesar salad. Very good. I have worked in catering and food service for 17 years and I know how everything has to come together to give a diner a good experience and Oak Barrel Tavern does that.
