Friday night crowds were everything to be expected ...the service was GREAT though. Food was pretty on point. Drinks were cold and the margarita was strong for sure. Our first time here. We celebrated grandparents day with our grandson at this smallish but beautifully styled restaurant. While the place was small the food was mighty in terms of taste and portion size. I had the fish and chips and upsized with onion rings while my wife had the Ciabatta burger. The fish was simply amazing - a light and crunchy coating. The burger was awesome; the Ciabatta roll as a perfect palette for the meat and toppings. My grandson has the chicken wings with BBQ sauce which were sticky, sweet and delicious. Talia, our server and Ryan, the manager made us feel like we were at home. We will be back. read more

We were seated right away when we arrived and took a booth which was awesome. Lots of space to sit, but this place needs to add on more room for expansion as well as a bigger parking lot. It's very busy here so be prepared to search for a parking spot on the premises or plan to park across the way. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The beer was cold and refreshing. Although I thought it could have a few more choices of local brewery's offered. The happy hour specials were adequate but could offer more choices. The food arrived shortly after we ordered and the kitchen was very busy with filling tickets. Compliments to the chefs in the back as it was served hot and fresh. Everyone there was busy and still attentive to customers needs. I give this place 5 stars for establishing this business which was opened fairly recently. They have worked out the opening bugs and off to a great start. I can only hope they keep up the five star quality service and food as we are desperate for a good place to call our place in our Eastmark neighborhood. Compliments to the owners for starting up a business here where there isn't much shopping, but given time this neighborhood will be booming and bustling with business. The pictures tell the story. All were very good and looking forward to trying more on their menu. Portions were plentiful as well. We both could have taken home leftovers. Next time I believe we will split a meal to try everything on their menu. An appetizer looked good coming out of the kitchen which we just tried the hummus platter which was excellent. We will return. That's a promise. One last thing, as always this place is bustling so if you're looking for a quiet dinner or romantic dinner, probably look elsewhere. Nice atmosphere and clean. I was very impressed with the service as the server was on top of everything from the time I sat down until I left. The drinks and food came out pretty quickly. My husband and I wanted to like the place but, sadly, it was an overall disappointment. I will start by saying that the final person that we dealt with, the woman who brought our bill and to-go box, was nice and personable. Aside from her, the greeter and the other wait staff were not very friendly. We were also surprised that, with such a simple order, they didn't get it right. We ordered the carne asada nachos and wings. The nachos came out without the added guacamole and the wing order was simply wrong. The presentation of the nachos also was not very appealing. We also had to ask twice for small plates. The establishment also was quite sterile. There were five TVs in the inside area for Sunday afternoon football. One TV was stuck on a Little Caesar's commercial, one was not on, one was tuned to some kind of awards ceremony, and two were tuned into the Packers/Vikings game. There was no sound at all in the establishment. They were neither playing music nor the football game sound. It made the entire feel of the place beyond odd. Great new place to eat and drink while watching sports on TV. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was a great choice, from the seasoning and the size of the burger. Their meat is from Midwestern Meats and their meat is always fresh! My wife ordered the soup and salad lunch special and she said the soup was great and the size of the soup and salad was a bigger for a lunch special. Our service was excellent from when we first walked in and the entire time we were there. They have outside patio with heaters and misters for use during the summer. There's 5 big TV's for sports as well and the restaurant is very clean! All in all a great new restaurant to try if you're looking for a change! read more

This was my second time here and while the first visit wasn't good or bad, this time was definitely better. Their Saturday night special of the Prime Rib Dip was pretty popular and they ran out right when we were seated. That was good with our group as we ordered the Reuben and Philly. If you were ever a fan of Teakwood's, this place is right up there with their Rueben sandwich. I ordered coleslaw and a side of fresh jalapeños for the full experience and it was fantastic. There wasn't as much meat as Teakwood's but the coleslaw was amazing. Pairing it with the Cali Creamin' made for a great dinner selection. We did outside with the heaters going so it was nice. We sat in front of the open bar so plenty of light was available. read more

Hard pass. We walked in to this EMPTY restaurant on a Sunday morning for breakfast, which should have been a red flag as most breakfast places have a wait, but it was early and we gave it a shot. Our food came out SO fast it was obviously already cooked before we got there and ordered. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, and I tried the chicken fried chicken which came with the same "gravy." No where on this menu does it say that this is HAM gravy (not traditional sausage) and neither of us are ham people, not to mention the large chunks of onion in it. It came with POWDERED eggs and frozen Ore-Ida potatoes! You know the ones, the cubes with the peppers and onions. My husband was pretty sure his coffee was instant coffee. Why on earth you would open a "tavern" and serve cafeteria food is beyond me, especially at fresh food prices. There is nothing easier, or cheaper, than making fresh potatoes at the very least!! Pure laziness in this kitchen. We won't be back, good luck lasting. In response to owner comment: I have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years, and know food that obviously was cut by a machine and not by hand when I see it. Please don't insult our intelligence and think that everyone will believe you, just because you "said so." I also know powdered eggs when they are shoveled out after sitting around. There is NO WAY our food was cooked after we ordered, it was simply short-cut assembled. I can spoon that out at a cheap hotel buffet all by myself. You are pretty quick to respond to negative reviews, maybe you should put that go-getter attitude into your kitchen. I don't usually review places however our experience was so horrible yesterday I will never return My husband and I sat at the bar around 3pm. There were 2 bartenders tending to the bar and restaurant. The pregnant bartender could not be bothered to take our order or make drinks. She stood there and talked to a couple at the bar for over 20 minutes ignoring everyone else. The other bartender reprimanded her multiple times to get her to make drinks and actually serve people. If we would have had cash we would have walked out. Others at the bar were saying the same and it almost became a running joke how bad the service was. My husband and I have been here a few times, normally we sit outside because the inside is always crowded. The food is great and we usually experience amazing service. Last night however was unfortunately very different. Initially we sat outside, but were re-seated inside because of the weather (not our choice- we were told the outside heaters didn't work very well). Once inside, we were told by the waitress to go to one table, only to be rudely told by another waitress that she was seating another party there and put us at a smaller table- which was fine, she was just rude. Service at that point was slow, we ordered an appetizer and then our meal- every thing was brought out at the same time, over crowding the table. The food was great as usual. We did not see our server for the rest of the time until we ended up flagging her down after waiting about 15 minutes after we finished eating to get some boxes to go and the check. Also the outdoor seating was rather full with the heaters working just fine when we left. Normally, i do not write reviews, especially bad ones. We really enjoy this establishment and plan on returning, hopefully to have our normal excellent service. read more

This spot is a must-try! Even though it was a little smaller than we thought it still comfortably fit our large group of about 12 and had plenty of room for other parties. The service was friendly and knowledgable and they served our large group of bikers quickly and smoothly. Besides the clean and welcoming environment, the food was delicious! Everything we tried down to the cheese curds was made to perfection. It tasted handmade and most importantly made with care. Ordered takeout on a Friday night, was pretty good! Had the chicken nachos which were the best thing we ordered.. also had the Cajun steak fingers, we were told they are fried, but we're super soggy.. had boneless wings and the sauce was good! Last but not least got the west coast chicken wrap, which typically has avocado, and wasn't included.. all to say, food was pretty good. I'd give a 4 star, but giving a 3 because their online menu prices are definitely inaccurate. Almost every thing is about $2-$3 more than what the online menu says, and don't think the chicken wrap was worth almost $17. read more

I was there for Happy Hour on a Friday. Food was good and their House lemonade special drink was really really good. I had the wings (garlic Parmesan) they were excellent. I also had had the Parmesan fries which were well coated in the cheese. Very good. My friend had the Fish and chips and she said that was really good.. Service was good. I don't remember our server's name but she was very attentive and made our very tasty drinks. The place is small so it gets crowded.
